This is our second year visiting Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina, and once again, Four Corners Restaurant did not disappoint. We dined here last year and made sure to return this year--and it was just as amazing as we remembered. The food is consistently delicious, with a menu that offers something for everyone. Everything we ordered was fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a perfect spot for a relaxing evening out. What really sets Four Corners apart, though, is the staff. The waitresses are incredibly kind, attentive, and genuinely sweet, which adds so much to the overall dining experience. Where do I start? We dined at Four Corners WB today. There were 4 people in our party. The restaurant had less than 20 patrons in the restaurant. The server took our drink orders and when she returned, there was hardly any ice in the drinks (iced tea) She took our order. Three of us ordered wings, one ordered peel and eat shrimp. We waited over 30 minutes for our food. We were actually joking at the table that they were out back trying to catch the chickens and trying to net some shrimp in the ICW. The server never delivered an order of fries that we requested when we made our food order. The food was meh. I know, it's bar food, but even for bar food, it was meh. The music was great. The place looks cool, but the service and the food need to step it up several notches. The doe-eyed young lady who served was nice and somewhat attentive, but she did not think ahead... we had to ask for more silverware, refills etc. This was my third visit to Four Corners, 3 strikes and you are out. I didn't review either of my first 2 visits as I wanted to give the establishment some time to get their legs, but today sealed the deal. We will not be returning. Ordered food to go through the phone and it was ready just about the time they said it would be. Indoor and outdoor seating. Bar inside with TVs. High Chairs are available. Menu had a variety of foods. Ordered half rack of ribs ($17), substituted regular fries for sweet potato fries for a $3 upcharge, mahi-mahi sandwich ($16) with side of mac & cheese ($2) in place of the house made chips and a butter toffee cake ($6). The ribs were okay- they were tender, fall off the bone, with crispy edges, smothered with a sweet barbecue sauce. The sweet potato fries were waffle type, perfectly crispy. I did not like the coleslaw that came with it-did not taste fresh. The mahi mahi can be cooked how you want it-I chose grilled and it was seasoned nicely. But a bit overcooked. Locally caught. Served with a tartar, mayo like mixture sauce. Big sandwich. The mac & cheese was good, very creamy. Made with white cheddar cheese. The dessert was my favorite. It was a warm yellow mini Bundt cake covered with a sweet toffee topping and chocolate sauce, served with whipped cream and vanilla bean ice cream. It was hard to stop eating it. The staff that helped me were very nice. Would come back again but wouldn't go out of my way. read more

Joined some friends for lunch. It was noon , and a few patrons inside the restaurant. We were seated immediately, menus and a drink order was taken. The walls are filled with sports memorabilia and it was on the loud side, hate to be there when it's filled to capacity. Our wait person was very attentive and was very detail oriented. The special of the day was shrimp tacos, two flour tortilla shells , shrimp shredded cabbage , pico de gallo and cilantro lime aioli. It came with white rice and a side of beans. I decided to give that a try. I ordered grilled shrimp instead of fried and went with the rice and beans. Our lunch order came out fairly fast. The tortillas were lightly grilled and warm. There were , I believe 4 smaller sized shrimp 2 "chunks" of cabbage, diced tomato and a nice amount of aioli on top. The beans were steaming and the rice warm. The shrimp were grilled nicely and spicy. The cabbage would have been better shredded instead of two larger chunks of cabbage. Decent vibe at this place. read more

I was absolutely shocked that the unc super regional game was not on any tv until I asked. This was turned on in the second inning. I then asked for the volume and was told that couldn't do that. We tried this place last year, when we were here for the winter. The ribs were as described, falling off the bone. I enjoyed them so much we went back for a takeout order. We went back a couple of days ago, because of that experience. This time they were actually disgusting. I couldn't even really tell what cut of meat it was, just an amorphous blob of fat, gristle, bone, and a little meat. I was shocked at the difference from our original experience. This one "four corners" is absolutely reasonably priced. $15 for a 1/2lb burger $14 for 3 10" shrimp tacos Friend and I came here for dinner sat outside since it was a nice & breezy evening. Had a nice appetizer of calamari it was a perfectly crispy and came with a perfectly blended sweet and spicy sauce which I usually don't get with calamari but it definitely worked for these. The toppings on the shrimp tacos were a bit saucy but easily removed with a fork. Cabbage, pico, and their signature sauce as pictured. The four corners burger (a beast 1/2 LB of meat) topped with cheese bacon crispy fried onions and their house sauce as well 5/5 for sure will be coming back not just because the food and environment was excellent but because the prices were affordable & reasonable for the area. read more

Decent place for food after being on the beach. Pretty standard bar food including burgers, wings, sandwiches, etc. all the food that came out of the kitchen looked good. The wing flavor was great, but they were a little bit soft. I prefer my wings crispy. The garlic cheese fries just tasted like cheese fries. Still tasted good though. Service was great. Sat outside under a shade umbrella. After contemplating between a bbq sandwich and boneless wings, I went with the wings and a side of onion rings. The good: Both were crunchy and cooked well. The bad: I ordered "sweet and spicy" sauce for the wings, imagining I would get a bbq sauce of sorts. It actually was what I know as a Thai Chili Sauce. I did not want this at all, but not the end of the world. The chicken was crunchy, but bland. The "sauce" did not integrate with the chicken at all, just poured on top. It had a bit of an aftertaste too. Can't explain it. The onion rings were bland as well. A tad bit oily. No dipping sauce comes with the onion rings. I didn't bother to ask for anything either. At this point I had realized this was just not going to be a stellar lunch. Not bad per se, just not noteworthy. I really want to like the food because it's walkable from my house. Unfortunately, the first pass with the tacos was disappointing. The slaw was too wet and very vinegar forward. I had to search for the tiny piece of fish on one and the shrimp didn't taste fresh on the other. Sooooo many issues. First, why would a restaurant open without enough parking? It was super frustrating and makes no sense for diners. The other option told to us was to park across the street and then cross the 5 lanes of traffic‍‍ The food was ok bar food. Nothing great and the "jumbo" wings aren't jumbo Salad was basic and shrimp was over cooked. Our order came wrong and no one offered to fix it and the waiter never checked back. Ugh! They leave the sliding door open for outside seating which means you melt inside cause the air is going out the doorway. The poor guy next to us was dripping with sweat. I was so excited to check this new place out. It's like they didn't think through the setup or impact on customers. We started with the queso, which was great. I ordered the Shrimp Tacos, which came with mashed potatoes. That was an unexpected side (isn't listed that they come with tacos anywhere on the menu, and was a strange pairing). There were three Shrimp Tacos and a huge side of mashed potatoes on a tiny plate. The mashed potatoes were completely covering one of them which was gross. The pico is chopped very poorly with gigantic cubes of tomatoes and onion (not a huge deal, but was also kind of off putting). We also ordered the southwest salad as a wrap - it was dry because it didn't come with any dressing without specifically requesting it on the side. TV situation is absurdly bad, the food is inedible, all of the waitstaff just stands around doing nothing, and on a night where the only sports happening is CAROLINA baseball and the Stanley Cup finals- they insist on playing some idiotic DJ and his awful 80s lame music instead of the call on either game when there are only 12 people in the entire restaurant. Great spot for a sports bar. Only a few minutes from Wrightsville beach. I got the wings and buffalo chicken sandwich. Wings were pretty good, not my absolute favorite since I like them crispier but next time I'll ask to crisp em' up. The sandwich was great and huge so you won't leave hungry. The bar is a great horseshoe type with plenty of tvs. Lots of space inside and out with a dj booth as well. Hannah C was my last bartender and she was great. Fun to talk with, attentive and a great reason to come back. Definitely a spot to check out. Just be weary about the parking as it's a small lot for the size of this place. However they do offer 10% off your bill if you take an Uber, so they try to make up for it. read more

The food was not good at all..very disappointed. The calamari was rubber (more fried flour than anything else). Only thing decent on the shrimp tacos was the shrimp them self. The sauce did not pair well with shellfish at all and over powered it. The Philly rolls were decent but not the best. Lastly the wings were nothing to talk about and came out with the wrong flavor sauce. Overall very disappointed with the food experience and unfortunately it was all over priced.
