This time, though, they missed the mark. They charged me for a brand new motor, but it didn't fix the problem, and once it didn't work, they stopped responding to my texts entirely. I ended up finding someone else who diagnosed the actual issue right away and fixed it properly. I'm not writing this to knock Mike's, since they've done fine work for me in the past, but this experience was frustrating enough that I wanted future customers to know: if something doesn't get fixed right the first time, make sure you're getting real follow-up, not silence.

They kept me updated with texts and when to expect my technician. It took Aleksei (our tech) about 10 minutes to pull dryer apart, diagnose problems and offer a fair estimate. The work took about 35 minutes and he had all necessary parts. He also cleaned out dryer from top to bottom. My dryer has NEVER sounded so quiet and smooth. Aleksei was friendly, worked efficiently and left our home clean. I would definitely call them again for any urgent needs.

After filing my complaint in February 2026, I received a refund and an email from the county consumer department summarizing the outcome of this complaint and their conversation with you. I wanted to wait to write a review until this had been settled, in case you did reach out to me directly to try to find a resolution, which would have affected my rating. It is my belief, that had I not filed a complaint, I would have never heard from you or gotten any of my money back. You've also had about a month to reply to my review but you just so happen to reply on the 19th. The day after someone contacted me "without you knowing", to remove my review because of how bothered you were by the negative review. Maybe it really is just a coincidence and you didn't know they would be reaching out to me. Treating people with respect goes a long way and there were plenty of missed opportunities here.
