So... First of all... I love their jerky. We get it to and from San Diego to Vegas. Today, we stopped and everything was closed up. I looked on the be back later sign and it said 245.(i arrived at 215). We waited for over an hour and nobody came back. I called and called and called. I left voicemails. Nothing!! One of the tastiest, tenderest beef jerky places on my must-try list. I used to hate driving from LA to Vegas, until I discovered this place. Now I ALWAYS make stop here and pick up about 10 pounds of the stuff. My go-to flavors are the famous bbq, and sweet and spicy. Once you become a customer, you'll get the occasional text from them offering a decent discount. I do have to caution you that it's quite pricey. My friend was craving for some jerky for the ride home and since they never visited EddieWorld, thought we gave it a try. Jedidiah's Jerky is located inside Eddie's World. As most reviews have said, it is pretty expensive ($17 for 1/4 lb at the time of writing this), but it is some seriously good jerky. I did not know jerky could taste this good. They had 2 options which were dry or soft. Both were delicious. In addition to common jerky meats, they also carried unique jerky meats, such as camel, shark, duck, and kangaroo. The lady helping us out was nice and gave us a lot of samples. She also explained things clearly. I walked away with the sweet and spicy brisket jerky, Korean BBQ, and shark jerky. If I passed by, I'd probably stop by again. It's a bit expensive for my wallet, so I'd also probably only order it on special occasions. read more

The jerky is delicious and so good but wow it was expensive. For sure this is much better than the stuff you buy in the grocery store but given we have some food allergies in the house we were disappointed that there wasn't an ingredient list on any of the products. We knew this for sure was nothing healthy and filled with sugar but got some anyway. We asked for a small amount and the girl gave us a large handful and told us it was $25. We asked her to split it in half....then again....to get the proper amount that we needed. The jerky is very good for a treat, all we needed was a little bit to get us through and really enjoyed it. We probably won't get any again just because we assume it might have sulfates in it, but without seeing an ingredient list, we just don't know. read more

The guys here have some of the best jerky around. Well worth the stop as the kids enjoyed playing with the stuffed animals on the shelves while dad was making his selections. They had a nice selection of dry jerky as well as some that were tender brisket Jerky. We indulged in a teriyaki which didn't last 2 minutes because it was a family hit. I tried to sneak a bite and the kids were begging for my pieces. I also got the cowboy jerky and it didn't disappoint. I guess we will be making another stop on our way back! Best jerky in the world! I have driven 100 miles to get it after my dog jumped on my desk and stole mine! My dog went through hell to get to it too! He couldn't get down so his guilty little self was waiting there when I got home. I was so sad that it was all I could think about. We only give our dog the finest of jerky apparently. I came here a few weeks ago on a Wednesday night on the way to LA from Vegas. The worker was kind enough to stay open after hours for my husband and I. We bought 4 prepackaged 1lb jerky. After a few days, my husband noticed 2 of the bags had past Best Buy dates. We purchased our jerky 10/23/19 but it had a Best By date of 9/25/19!! We love the jerky but we were so disappointed that they had sold us those bags with the past Best By dates. We called and emailed them several times but they never responded. Apparently, they don't care about customer satisfaction and health if they neglect to respond and are still selling jerky with past buy dates. The sample we had was excellent. Unfortunately, what was given to us was stale. I bought my jerky on Monday morning and tried to eat some Monday night. I don't think they sold it stale. They just did a poor job wrapping it up. They basically wrap it the same way a butcher wraps fresh meat, but mine was wrapped loosely, exposing it to air and now it's stale. I thought it was a chain, but now that I'm far away from Yermo, I find myself missing that cowboy jerky which I paid between $30 - 35 for about a half a pound. Dude. $70 / lb! But you can't find anything like it anywhere near Long Beach. The vast expanse between LA and Vegas seems to be the spawning ground of jerky makers. I don't remember trying Alien Jerky (we didn't stop) and I was all spent out from getting any from the other vendor in the big Terrible's on the way home, but Jebediah's is great. $70 / lb great? That's subjective and you'll have to decide for yourself. I don't like super soft jerky which is mostly what they sell, but the cowboy is chewy and slightly tough, which I love.
