The inside of the convenience store is well stocked with your usual drinks, chips, candies, cookies that are well arranged. Restrooms are clean as well, with solid stall doors. Of note, one stall did smell urea (ick! Pass! No thanks, used the next stall). No paper towels though, I don't care for the hand driers. I really liked the self service/checkout option because I got stuck behind a group of people (6 of them who were buying different things & one person paying) It's annoying but I opted to use the self checkout to bypass that mess. Overall a good experience. Got a chance to stretch out.

The place was larger than I expected and it had a lot to offer for road trip travelers. The restrooms were clean enough and in good working order. They offer hot drip coffee or freshly ground espresso coffee from an automated machine. I had the drip and it was very good. We also picked up some waters, and my friend purchased a Dr. Pepper fountain drink and he said it was very good. In addition to the hot pre-made food, there's also a mini subway, a game room, and showers. The customer service was very friendly. They were in good spirits.

They usually house a Chester's Chicken within and their fried gizzards are mmmmm mmmmm good! For the past two weekends I've gone to Las Vegas and both times stopped at the Love's in Barstow. Both times we were actually greeted by the cashier as we walked in. I don't know if that has happened to me at any gas station let alone consistently two weeks in a row by different people. And the workers at the Chester's were so super sweet and friendly. Is it living in Barstow that has everyone so nice? Maybe I've been underestimating this area. Last week Semaj hooked us up with some freshly fried gizzards. They were a little on the salty side but Semaj was so sweet and so cool that didn't stop me from enjoying them. This was my friends first time trying gizzards and she's hooked too. Barstow is too far to just make a gizzard run but this Love's is definitely going to be my regular stop to and from my Vegas runs.

This place is a great stop for travelers. Good prices on…read moregas. Nice bathrooms. Great assortment of traveling goodies: candies, burritos, corn dogs, coffees, teas, sodas... Everything you'd expect from a well-stocked convenience store specializing in travelers, especially one competing with Barstow Station. It also has several internal vendors like Subway. And it's on the outskirts of Barstow so you usually don't have to worry about it getting too crowded.
