They've even installed an ATM in the lobby if clients need cash, especially since tips are not allowed to be added to a CC payment. And now one can pay the ATM fee to get cash to pay for services to avoid the 3% CC fee. How absolutely cheap is this merchant! Credit cards are for the convenience of the patron, with a slight exchange fee to the merchant as a cost of doing business.

I cancelled on a Saturday. The appointment was on Wednesday. On Wednesday someone called my elderly parents yelling at them for missing the appointment. Threatened them that they would have to pay for the appointment-my elderly Medicare parents who have been going to this salon for 9 months. I told my parents I would help them find a new salon to go to. Integrity is how you act when no one is looking-or when you think no one will call you out on it. This place has no integrity. And no respect for elders. In Japan someone in their 80's is tested with respect and is revered. Not yelled at or threatened. They did call back 10 minutes later when they checked their voicemail and found my cancellation but again...extremely rude and terrible customer service.

I hate to be rude and ask for silence, but this just seems like a given to me. Unfortunately, this is the second massage I've had in Cincinnati, and the second time the masseuse has talked throughout the entire thing. Why is this? To make matters worse, they are now constantly spamming my email account with specials and deals. There is no way to unsubscribe, and they put EVERYONE'S email addresses in the "to" line, so first names, last names, and email addresses are visible to everyone on the list. I replied requesting they unsubscribe me and mentioned they may want to at least BCC everyone (a bulk mailer would be more professional). They finally hid email addresses, but I am still receiving the same annoying email over and over again. While everyone who worked there was very nice, and the massage (aside from the talking) was decent, I would not recommend this place to anyone. I hate to leave bad reviews, but this email spamming really pushed things over the line for me.

Jessica was working the morning I stopped by. I asked her some basic information which she answered in a way that I could tell she wasn't bs 'n me. Because she was so nice and personable as well as very easy to talk to, I asked her if she could braid my hair in January. She said of course she could. She told me she could work with my budget and all I had to do was send her some pictures. When I got home and searched online I was overwhelmed with all of the choices. I knew I wanted to experience something new, but I couldn't make a decision. Whenever I saw women out in public with braids in their hair, the entire month of December, I'd ask them if I could take a picture of their hair; to give me ideas. They might have thought I was nuts, but they allowed me to. However, when I walked back into Hair On The Floor Barbershop this past Friday, I'd actually decided to allow Jessica to make the difficult decisions for me. I picked the hair color I wanted and we agreed upon a price for services, but it was up to Jessica to decide the style and type of braids. I scheduled the appointment for 9am yesterday morning. I had the most amazing time and experience. The vibes we experienced together while getting to know each other while she was braiding my hair; helped me understand the phrase "vibrate higher". I have felt euphoric for the past 14 hours. A wonderful natural high, one unlike any I've ever experienced. It's been years since I've actually enjoyed the stylist (at other places). I can tell that Jessica is passionate and very skilled in her craft. I love my hair. It's perfect and beautiful. I feel like a model - a super star - as well as a beautiful young women finally coming to age. Which is funny because I'm actually 46 years old. I'm am very grateful to have been able to meet Jessica and I look forward to returning next month to see what fun and new exciting style she can give me. :)

My youngest sons' first time was tough - he screamed the entire time. No matter - these guys were champs at keeping calm and still cutting his hairs. Second go: little man screamed again, but the barber has addressed this problem before with other kids; after he asked me to back away, he cut little man's hair, and the screaming was no longer. Oh, and his hair looks good. Way to go, HOtF. See you soon.
