I couldnt wait to try it out. When i got home, i played for about and hour and the difference with the new type of strings was incredible. It is a BEAUTIFUL PLACE that caters to all things music, instruments, tools amps, just a breath taking array of musical instruments to create magic. Almost inspired me to hang on to aforementioned mandolin. But I sold it to them so that it would end up in the proper set of hands. While there I chatted with the owner and his assistants who were friendly, extremely knowledgeable and clearly in tune with musicians. They will find it a good home. Looking to find a place that l'd feel comfortable and that is affordable. After putting in many calls and messages to various places, Drum lesson's with Chip Ritter is the place I decided to go with. I like that he was able to work me in on short notice and work with my work schedule. Lessons are given in a nice, clean, comfortable, learning environment and it's close to home. Another thing I appreciated about how Chip taught my lesson is that he has his drum kit next to the student's drum kit. Being able to see drumming movement along with listening to the drum patterns is very helpful for someone like myself who needs to visualize how the music magic is made. Also, the cost per lesson is right on point with other places. $30 per 30 minute lesson or $25 per 30 minute lesson if you book 4 in advance. (Which is what I'll be doing moving forward.) I feel like I'm getting a steal for sure based off his years of teaching experience and talent. He is patient and it shows that he is a skilled drumming instructor. I take my three and half year old granddaughter here for Angelina Ballerina dance classes. Miss Marion, her instructor, is very experienced and a pleasure to work with. The kids, eight in her class, just love her. They have a camera in the studio so you can watch the kids dancing on a large screen TV. The cost is reasonable for a 45 minute session each week for a whole school year. There will be a recital at the end of the year. The receptionist is very friendly and helpful. We are completely satisfied, so far, with everything. Our granddaughter loves coming here and looks forward to dance class each week. We may take a music class too in the next couple of weeks. A basic music course for the 4-5 yr olds is some keyboards, some singing, and some other stuff.
