Great experience for my first lesson with Jeff I really wish I did this sooner! Got into the game only about a year ago and thought I could figure it out by watching and reading. This only got me to about 25% consistency with any club. I'd read or watch something different every day and kept trying to make changes but no real results and it only lead to frustration. It was all about lagging the club head but that sh*t just wasn't working for me every time! In my very first lesson Jeff watched my form, made a few tweaks that seemed very simple, visual and easy to feel. Told me to forget about the head lag and tucking the elbow "stand taller, swing down and throw your right arm down to the ground". This brought me back to a comfortable natural swing without overthinking. I saw consistency improvement right away. One 45 min lesson ... unbelievable (but of course I took 7 more on a package he offers). I hit a half a bucket of balls running through a few different clubs after his lesson just to see how I do on my own and amazingly so, I stayed consistent. The next day I played with a buddy and I couldn't believe the improvement! Can't wait for my next lesson and like I said, wish I did this sooner! The previous PGA professional I worked with told me not to change anything in my full swing. However, clearly it needed to change as I wasn't playing consistently. I always left those lessons with zero actionable feedback and no real plan to improve. Jeff's approach was completely different. During the first lesson, he didn't immediately start changing my swing. Instead, he spent the time diagnosing where I was, understanding my natural tendencies, and explaining the swing thoughts I should avoid. We then focused on building a solid foundation instead of chasing quick fixes. The second lesson was even more impressive. Jeff somehow managed to work with my natural motion while fundamentally improving my swing. One thing that really stood out was how he used videos of professional golfers performing the exact movements he wanted me to make, then compared them side-by-side with my own swing. That visual feedback made everything click. After just two lessons, I'm striking the ball more consistently with better compression, much tighter dispersion, and noticeably more distance. I couldn't be happier with the progress I've made in such a short time. Jeff is probably the best teacher you can find in the area. I worked with Jeff for couple of years now and my game improved dramatically. Thanks to his patient and very calming approach I understand mechanics of MY OWN golf swing much much better then I ever did. When Jeff teaches you he works on your very own swing taking into account your own movement capabilities that are specific to you. It is by no means a cookie cutter approach he has. I saw him working with small kids, teenagers, adult men and women of different skill level even with elder ladies but I never saw him giving two people the same advice. I definitely plan seeing Jeff for lesson or two here and there to continue improving my game. I believe that same as he helped me getting to the point I can break 90 on pretty regular basis I have a solid chance to get closer to at least for me magical number 80 and eventually braking that one as well. While I am more and more convinced that one should not "chase the number" and I do not anymore I used these boundary numbers to illustrate the progress I made thanks to Jeff. Besides, playing at this level (closer to 80) is much more fun on the course then it was when I had to hit ball more then 100 times for a round. read more

Jeff is an amazing teacher and golf technician. After literally one lesson he had my driver swing speed up by more than 10 MPH! More importantly, after just a few lessons I had a simple, clear and understandable approach to hitting the golf ball. The myth of having to break down your swing and get worse before getting better is just not true. In just a few lessons, Jeff wiped away years of bad habits some developed by other teachers with high tech devices. Jeff is not locked into just one approach to improving a player. He will help you with whatever you want, driver, sand, wedges etc. It is really up to you. He provides a relaxed and easy going approach to teaching. He also provides specific comments and summaries of each lesson so that you have a historical record. This can be very useful as we all tend to revert back to old habits. I am hitting more fairways and GIR than ever and have more confidence in my swing than at any other time since I started playing. I cant recommend Jeff enough. He's highly knowledgable and breaks it down in such an easy way thats simple to understand why he has you doing what youre doing. Working with jeff so far has been a pleasure. I've been golfing for about 7-8 years now self taught and the past 2 years my swing really fell off a cliff to put it mildly, to the point where i didnt enjoy golfing anymore and dreaded my weekly round. I finally swallowed my pride and decided i needed lessons and found jeff. I was nervous and apprehensive going into the lesson but jeff made me feel at ease and comfortable within minutes. With a few small focal points to work on in my swing, 15 minutes into my lesson i was striking the ball the best i have in the past 2 years. I was honestly in shock. I have been playing golf for over 50yrs. I consider myself a decent golfer. I also took many golf lessons over the years. One day I was at the Route 23 golf range hitting balls.(You always have to practice.) In the stall next to me I heard Jeff giving a golf lesson. I was impressed with what I over heard him telling his pupil. Since the start of the golf season I've been playing terrible. I'm sure some of you can relate to that. So before I left the range I asked Jeff for his card. And naturally being so disgusted with how poorly I was playing I gave Jeff a call and took a lesson. The lesson went well , I was excited and could not wait to practice what he taught me. I should also say I play 4 times a week. Well in a matter of a week and a half I was shooting about 8 to 10 strokes better. I feel like I'm getting my game back to where it was. I've been playing golf since I was 8 years old. now I am 62 years old and still learning the game. I grew up on old style clubs, Heavier weight. Never got used to new style clubs. So I had such a bad slice,hook you name it. So I went out and bought a 3 iron to hit off the tee. Well I had to improve my game using the new drivers bit just could not get used to it. I bought a epic callaway and thought that was the answer with adjusting weights (nope) I hit it farther bit still slicing,hooking. Then i met Jeff, wow in 5 minutes he fixed my hands and bam!!! My ball stated going straight and far. My whole attitude changed toward the game and now i only use my driver on the tee and my 3 iron on fairway. It's been 2 weeks since I got a lesson from Jeff and have played 4 rounds already bringing my score down. I'm so happy now. Now to book my next lesson. Did I mention I'm a lefty shooting righty. I went golf trip in January and didn't shoot under 100. I actually felt like giving up the game so when I got back home. I said to myself either give up the game or go see a golf pro. Jeff was recommended to me by a neighbor. I want to see Jeff and in one lesson he turned my golf game around, explained the golf swing to me the way that nobody explained it to me before. So I worked on what he told me and in March I went on a trip to Georgia and my first shot an 85. I was lucky enough to find Jeff about a dozen years ago...and I have relied upon his tremendous teaching abilities over that timeframe when I need a "refresher" (or when the golf swing feels like an unfolding lawn chair). I play a lot of competitive golf, and Jeff has been able to help with every aspect of my game. My handicap has dropped 8 shots since I began my lessons with Jeff, and his ability to identify minor "tweaks" without attempting to reconstruct the entire swing is what makes him attractive to me (as a seasoned golfer). He is now teaching my 14 year old son, and it's amazing to watch the remarkable progress with my boy as well. I came to Jeff with a "geriatric" golf swing (as my friends were willing and eager to inform me). I am 24 years old. In two lessons, Jeff has spotted the issues with my swing with precision, gave me effective drills to challenge some of the ingrained behaviors in my swing, and now my miss is better than my purest shot with my old swing. Jeff Severini provided both concise and effective fixes for my golf swing. From the start, he asked me for both my swing thoughts in addition to me hitting a few balls. He then took the time to look at my swing from multiple angles as our dialogue continued. As we made the needed adjustments he took the time to explain what has happening, how things should feel and how the adjustments would work. I only worked with Jeff once, however, I left and already trying to schedule another session before the next weekend. 100% worth the investment if you love Golf and care about not embarrassing yourself time and time again. Been golfing on and off for over 15 years and taken lessons with different instructors and was almost ready to give it up. Have taken 5 lessons with Jeff and my game has improved by about 25 strokes. His technique is different then most golf pros in that he works with your current swing instead on breaking your swing down and starting you from scratch. Great lesson with Jeff. What I appreciated most was that he did not try to tear everything down and rebuild my swing from scratch. He looked at what was already there, made a few simple adjustments, explained the "why," and the changes started making sense right away. I went with my adult son and we both had a terrific experience. Just returned home after my first 1 hour lesson with Jeff. I'm still amazed at the progress we made in that short amount of time. He had me hitting the ball straighter and farther than I ever have with some minor adjustments in my swing. No wholesale changes, just pointers that I would have never thought to do. I can start by saying Jeff is an amazing teacher but let me give you the facts: I've been playing golf on and off for about 25 years - had ugly tee shots - when I did hit, I never could drive the ball more than 125 yards - when I did I would always slice it, sometimes bad - I took a 1-hour lesson from Jeff - within the 1st half hour of the lesson, Jeff corrected my swing and I was driving the ball straight for 175 to 200 yards!!! Who knew a Google search would lead to such a great experience! My husband loves golf and expressed an interest in golfing together. So we signed up for lessons with Jeff. He is polite, knowledgeable, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I was able to learn enough to successfully play a round on our honeymoon in Punta Cana.
