Great double decker golf range. The facilities are well kept and the owners are quite courteous

The spacing between bays seems more generous than other driving ranges. I also like the guardrails along the aisle, which allow for enough space for your standing bags and camera to check your swings, without encroaching to the circulation path. The restrooms and vending machines are well maintained. It is great to get early bird specials regardless of weekdays and weekends. The putting and chip shots practice areas are good additions as well. My only wish, compared with other County- or Privately-operated driving ranges, is more grass at the field. It is mostly covered with sands which seems like hitting balls over to the huge bunkers or desert. It is not a deal breaker though. Will be my favorite driving range. read more

2023 Updated review: Nice day for mini golf at Willowbrook Golf Center. Ample parking for golf and mini-golf. If going to the range, need to bring your own clubs as due to pandemic no club rentals. For mini-golf, there are putters for children and adults. Friendly and helpful staff. Price for adults $12 to play 1 course, $18 to play both courses... Of course, if one has time, better deal to play both courses - Tiger and Bear. Played Tiger course this time and mini-golf greens are clean and repaired since last here. Got here before it got too crowded. Love the blue waterfall from the cave - really nice to see on a sunny day. Snacks and drinks are available for purchase inside, along with the Willowbrook Golf Center store and restrooms. Have fun and get your game on! read more

I've been here a lot. It's a nice golf range with early bird specials. Gets super crowded. Recently there was an injured bird on the second floor and we told them about it and they refused to do anything. The bird at the time of the picture is still alive and sitting still, in the middle of the path. Why would an establishment leave a bird with blood on the floor? read more

Good for a quick stop for fun if you are in the area Location/Ambience: 4/5 The golf course itself is in decent shape but the water and other parts of it are pretty muddied and trashed but it wasn't as noticeable since the mini-golf course with its layout deviates attention from it. Area is nice and decently quiet considering its location. Experience: It was a solid mini-golf course. Two versions of 18 holes interlocking with each other. Didn't get a chance to use the range since no rentals allowed Staff: 4/5 lol it was just one guy manning the center from what it looked like to pay for the minigolf course. Staff is pretty much lets you do your own thing and anything happenes, happens, you go get them. Price: 4/5 It was about $10-$12 for mini golf for one so it was pretty fair Accessibility/Layout 5/5 Its off the exit for the highway so its well secluded from everywhere else with a good amount of land dedicated to it. Been here a few times for mini golf only. Its $10 entry which is fair. The clubs and balls are always in good shape. The course could use some work on some holes - you'll see carpet rough or torn up in some spots. Sometimes the foliage around the course is a little overgrown and large. It's far from the best course I've ever played but its fun nonetheless. There are two courses to play so you could come back here and get a different experience which is nice. I hope to go to the driving range at some point. read more

The guy in the eagles jersey was just being annoying. We walked in at 8:57 and there was a sign posted that clearly says last sale at 9:00. We where only looking for a small bucket of balls that would have taken us 20 minutes to hit but he told us that he could not let us on the range and that they where closed. Me and a few of my freinds where just trying to get some work in before school tryouts and he let us know that he had just let someone buy a bucket of balls showing that he definitely could have let us on the range. Ultimately im not mad im just extremely dissapointed that this guy told me that he would let someone else go but not us. read more

I have played mini golf here for years. It's not cheap, but it's a very solid establishment when it's not raining... Anyway, they've kept the greens up, actually just closed for a bit to remodel and reopen. They do have two courses, but some holes on each course are a little basic. Some interesting, and a few holes in one are opportune. Don't do what I've certainly never admitted to doing, play 17 holes, then switch courses and play 17 more there without losing your ball. Anyway. *Cough cough* they also have a driving range. Standard stuff, again it's a little bit expensive. Customer service is fine, no issues, but the inside of the store is rather strange and has a bunch of doors unusable by the public. (Long walk from the desk to the clubs for example.) Finally, getting there is a bit tough - you have to get to the 23 North exit to 46 East, more or less U-turn, and then snag an immediate left into the parking lot. Or use Hobson Terrace at your own risk. Anyway anyway - 4 stars overall. Maybe a bit high given the basic nature of many of the holes and the price, but 3 stars seems a bit low for the overall quality. read more

Went mini golfing with my boyfriend on a late Monday afternoon around 6 and it wasn't packed. Saw a beautiful sunset. It's not the best date in the world - and the water is kind of icky looking around the first put on the right course- but for $12 a person for two courses it can't be beat. The courses were cute and medium, I felt like I was enjoying but not struggling. I had no complaints. The sunset was so pretty!! A wide area to see it set. Go early around the time we went or a little earlier or you'll be sandwiched between big families. read more

The mini golf obstacles are very basic, as a good number of holes are pretty much straight shots. Came here to hit some balls...glad I got a small. While the building looks nice from the outside (and the mini golf looks nice too) the range itself is in dire need of a makeover. The grass is all dead, and there are patches of dirt and puddles of water littered throughout. The tee stations were completely worn down, so any iron work I wanted to do didn't even happen - the few swings I tried didn't sound right. When my ball hit (driver only), it sounded like it was hitting the highway - and the kind of bounce it was getting made me question these balls to begin with. They were lighter than a traditional golf ball and didn't feel quite right...so I'm not sure how much this "practice" was actually worth. The idiots around me were dicking around the whole time, screaming, yelling, laughing, and hitting the balls in really odd directions. I get it - I came here for fun too. GOLF fun. Staff was nice, but the facilities were disappointing. If the weeds on the outside of the nets can be green, the area inside the nets should be green too. read more

I am always looking for ways to get my 8 year-old out of the house (away from any screen!), especially on the nicer days. We have done mini-golf at a few places in Northern NJ, including the Essex Recreation Center, and enjoyed it. I saw some good reviews on this place and decided to give it a try. Getting there can be tricky using their official (and google) address. For GPS directions, use this address: 185 OLD TURNPIKE ROAD. WAYNE, NJ 07470, it will take you right to the parking lot. We arrived at around 2 PM on a lovely Saturday. There were a lot of a parking spaces available at that time. We walked in to the main counter area. The staff there was very nice even interacting a little bit with my son...it's always nice when they ask them things like "are you excited to play buddy?". We asked for mini golf and were charged the $15 ($8 for adults and $7 for children). The balls (about 7 different colors) were to the right of the counter. We proceeded to the golf clubs, which there were three sizes; adults, children, and toddlers. IT was nice that they accommodate various sized putters. I wasn't sure what to expect as far as the crowd but it was not too bad. After you exit onto the course, there are two routes, Bear route and the Tiger route. You can choose to do either one, but keep in mind that at the 18th hole, your golf ball will be gone, so.....you can play until the 17th hole, skip the 18th and then move along to the other course. Though the cost to do both courses is only $3-4 more anyway, not a big deal for most. I would imagine most people would just pay the extra few dollars and do all 36 holes. We just did the Bear course only as were pressed a bit for time so we played the 18th hole on that course, surrendering our golf balls. The courses were well kept. Also, despite it being a "busy" Saturday afternoon, the crowd kept moving at a decent pace. I mean, even with a group of 3 or 4 people ahead, it didn't take long than a few minutes to complete each hole. The holes themselves were not too hard, but difficult enough to be enjoyable. Though, don't expect anything funky like moving/interactive holes. (sorry, so windmills holes here). We returned to the main counter to return our clubs. There are a few vending machines there with snacks and drinks as well as a few tables, presumably if you were to bring food?! Bathrooms there as well. There is also a golf shop there too with lots of golf equipment there. We did not try to actual golf range, but we could see the golfers swinging away from the mini golf course. Overall it was a great experience and we would likely return to do all 36 holes. read more

Worst place I have been to. I "had" an M2 driver and because they wanted to maximize how many golfers on their floors, one mat was way too close to one of the support beams holding up the second floor. When I made my back swing the head broke off of the shaft and they are blaming me. Charlie said it was 100% my fault. I called Charlie and he was almost pissed there was a problem. read more

It was my first time at a driving range and I loved it! *As a warning, my GPS did not get me there- not sure if other people experience this but because of the way it sits off from the highway the GPS things its arrived but ou have to make some type of weird turn to get to it. The guy at the front was very welcoming. My friend was already there and had purchased some balls. Prices were fair (7.00 for a small bucket of balls, 14 for a large). There were enough balls to keep the both of us occupied for about 2 hours (plus we were talking of course lol). The place was very laid back and the people there were all very friendly. The experience was actually very relaxing. You forget that you are right off of a busy highway and the scenery is pretty nice. Miniature golf is available on site if you're interested . There are also vending machines and a small coffee area. I noticed a small shop in the building but did not go inside to check out the merchandise. read more

I do like the Willowbrook Golf Center. It's a modern facility. The hours are excellent (open til 11 pm every day I'm pretty sure). And the prices are reasonable. There's also a bunker practice area and putting green. Both are in good shape. If I could ask for anything from this place, I would ask for better pro-shop hours, and a little more space in the some of the tee boxes. If you don't watch pretty carefully, there are a few boxes where you can hit a steel beam on the back swing. Finally, the mini-golf course has 36 holes and it's in very good new condition. I would have liked to give a good review, as I use the driving range at least twice a week and frequent the putt putt with my son during the summer. Decent range for sure. BUT, I went in last Sunday morning and will never come back. I arrived at 10:03 at the register, the ball special ends at 10am, and was told my the young guy at the register "already ended". Ok, really nice way to do business. I get two jumbo buckets every week there, even in the winter time. I guess 50 extra balls was worth losing my business. 21 golf is the same distance from my house and much nicer. Sorry to say goodbye. I said something to him on the way out, he said "it was 10:05 not 10:03". Again, really nice way to do business. read more

The center offers a driving range with multiple stations, as well as two beautiful mini golf courses. Great place for outdoor family fun. My granddaughter hit a hole in one on a different course! Customers playing in groups need to practice better social distancing. I suggest wearing gloves as the clubs are handled by lots of customers. read more

The definition of an average, okay miniature golf course. Set up as 2 18-hole courses with no difficulty difference, Willowbrook is a not-too-difficult course with little in the way of interest. Water hazards? Nope. Jumps? Bleh. Pretty views? Nah. There is water running through the course with a disconcerting blue hue of being either 50% chlorine or the route liners. And a fake mountain or two to play through, but those are merely quick breaks from the rest. The course itself is well maintained and not that difficult - more of a better putting prep than as a true fun mini golf course. Like a challenging green has an easy to dip into "sand" trap and a wavy course lay with a stone in the way. Fun, but not fun like a course with tons of waterfalls, jumps, and other greenery. No shade to be found throughout the course, so be careful on sunny days. And nobody watches the course at all, so you could probably keep golfing if one so desired. read more

So many good memories here I can't even begin to say. It's surprising I haven't done a review of this place before, but to be honest it's been a while since I visited. It is no way a reflection of this facility. First and foremost the center is gigantic. With the opportunity to practice all aspects of your golf game. Since becoming more into the sport of golf I have greater appreciation for the actual skill needed to play (ie swinging, putting, etc) and this place allows you to practice all of that. But my fondest memories remain the good times I had with friends, family, and girlfriends (past and present) in the miniature golf course they have. It's such a blast beating the snot out of your competition. I would visit this place everyday if I could. read more

Came here on Sat to play Miniature Golf with friends and I must say this this the best Miniature Golf Course in New Jersey or Westchester (NY). Honestly, not sure why there are no other Mini Golf Centers in Around. The only problem I have with this Center in Willowbrook is the location - it is not very easy to drive to because there is not a direct route. There are too many road loops, and if you miss the exit you have to drive around again and hope you get it right. REPLY to Mike: We heard about your place from friends who drive all the way from Lower Westchester NY, to Mini Golf...they love this place :) and so do we and just wish it were located in NY. I go here to play mini golf. I always have a great time here. It's always very clean and neat. It does get crowded on a nice weekend day but they have two 18 hole mini golf courses which makes the wait less long. They have two putting greens to practice on or to use while you wait for your turn. I have never been to the driving range section but I would like to. Inside they have coffee, drinks and ice cream. I've used the range before, but more recently my friends and I enjoy the mini-golf course. During weekday nights it's not too busy so your group can take their time. But during the summer I know it can get a little crowded and it becomes a waiting game for the people in front and behind you. Very cheap pricing for a nice course. They have a huge parking lot and it's located a little weird from the highway, but they're very friendly and accommodating. read more

I've gone here a few times and always had an enjoyable time. BEWARE: DO NOT mini golf if there is a party going on. Run back to your car and go to another place. Little kids run around the course rampant with no parental supervision. The parents aren't better-- they walk around the course with food in their hands and end up dropping napkins everywhere. It's as if you don't exist when the party is going on. Luckily we got in before the kids started playing. However, it didn't help much because we had one child tailing us that we just let her get the "hole in one" 6 inches from the hole. Another kid was hopping on the course between us and players behind us that he stalled their game. It's so much better to just come here on a casual weekend without a party. After a couple years of taking me to the driving range & teaching me to swing with his set, my fiance presented me with my own set of girl-sized clubs! And thus, a minor obsession was born. I've come here to Willowbrook to practice several times -- even alone! -- because it hits the New Jersey recreational trifecta: it is close, it is cheap, and it is rarely crowded! 1. It Is Close! Yes, it is close, but it is a slight pain to figure out how to get into the parking lot. If you're coming from 46 West, go past Willowbrook Mall and follow the signs for the service road. Then BEAR HARD RIGHT and you'll swing right in front of the Golf Center! And if you're coming from 46 East, drive past it and make a U-turn at Willowbrook Mall. (At least that's what I would do.) 2. It Is Cheap! Considering that my first ever golf lesson was at Chelsea Piers, I am still amazed when a bucket of balls doesn't cost more than your clubs. I usually opt for a Medium bucket myself, and it only sets me back $10 for 105 tiny little white spheres of joy/frustration. 3. It Is Rarely Crowded! I have never been shut out of a stall here. There are two levels! The lower level is usually more crowded -- probably because there are less available stalls, or the pads are much nicer, or maybe because people don't like stairs? Whatever the reason, I usually end up going upstairs. It's a little quieter, except for the occasional group of teens on Friday & Saturday nights. (There is also the occasional child with a tiny set of clubs who can hit the ball twice as far as you.) The pads are a little more worn up there, but I figure the bumps and grooves are similar to hitting a ball on an actual golf course, so. Some notes: - One time, I spent a couple of sad, terrible swings on a too-tall rubber tee. I looked around and found a tiny tee, but that was also terrible. I hung my head in shame and returned to practicing my irons. But as I was leaving, I couldn't believe my eyes -- turns out there is a bucket in the lobby with three sizes of tees! So don't forget to pick up your favorite size on your way to the range. - The range itself could use a good update -- the turf out there is so worn down that it's bleached almost completely white from the sun! Hopefully some new "grass" is in the works hahah. But at the end of the day, it doesn't (shouldn't?) really affect your swing, so I guess I shouldn't judge. But green grass is prettier, amirite? - There are vending machines with snacks in the main lobby! Not that I come to the range hungry, but it's good to know I don't have to leave to get some fuel. - I have never tried out the mini-golf courses, but I know there are two and they are usually packed with families and teens on dates. Seems like the cool place to be! - There is a putting green and a bunker outside in the front of the building. I actually saw someone practicing in the sand the last time I was there. It looked kinda fun! (Full disclosure: I am new to golf and I had no idea what that hole was until I saw the guy hitting sand out of it.) So, as my new golf obsession grows, I will probably be spending a good amount of my summer here. You should be too! read more

I've been here twice to play mini golf and it's been enjoyable both time. There's two courses bear and tiger so you don't have to play the exact same course over and over again. The courses could use a little updating and a little more decoration but otherwise it's a no frills mini golf place. There is also a driving range but I have not experienced that side. We came after we bought the groupon and had a great time. Two courses to choose from to keep the lines down and holes are not tightly cramped either so you have space between groups. The reason for the 4 is because it could use some maintenance, as the greens had some rips and tears in them. The holes would be better as well if they could have the tee-mats instead of just placing your ball on the green. As I read in some of the other reviews it would be great if they could add in an interesting 18th hole where they add in a free round for a hole in one like most places do as well as real sand for the sand traps instead of just putting down tan colored turf. But overall it was a fun course that is definitely challenging that we will come back to to try the other 18. read more
