We purchased our first vehicle in January of 2020. We had great experience all the way around. In January of this year (2021). My husband decided he was ready to purchase his first new truck so we went back to Jeff Smith. Our salesman was good. My husband found the perfect truck. I made a last minute decision to trade my ca in and get a newer SUV. Once again the sales man was good but the problems began when we got to finance. We struggled to get my payment on my vehicle at the right monthly amount. We were finally able to resolve this issue. Jeff Smith was paying my previous car off since I traded it in. After almost month the finance company started barring us telling us the payment was past due on our account my husband reached out to the finance dept. at Jeff Smith with no response or call back so he went to the dealership and spoke with the finance guy. He showed him where the check had been cut to pay off the previous vehicle and told us it was our responsibility to reach out to the finance company and explain to them. We have spoke with the finance company on a weekly basis they finally did receive the check after but they threatened with collection on this account even n though we no longer owned the vehicle. Jeff Smith had no interest in helping us resolve this issue. My husband was finally able to speak with one of the high level people from Jeff Smith that was very helpful and apologized for the way the staff acted. After almost 2 months later we get a call from the finance company saying we are still over due on our payment and that a derogatory remark has been put on my husbands credit and that there is a past due amount owed on the account. This credit has drooped 50 points because of this. The finale company did send over all the paper work showing that we were past due on our account bacuase Jeff Smith didn't send the correct amount of money to pay off the account. They also said that Jeff Smith never once called to get the exact payoff on the vehicle ,So we are now left with paying the remainder if the account. We can dispute the report on his credit but we can't do that until after the balance is paid. My husband once again reached out to Jeff Smith finical dept with no answer and no call back after leaving a message. Jeff Smith assured the both of us that the full amount for the payoff of our vehicle would be paid and our credit would not be affected at all but however this is not the case. They have no interest in returning our calls or helping us resolve the issue with there finance company. We feel that they wanted to make 2 sales and then left us out to dry. and that is exactly what they did. They never once reached out to the fiancé company to help. My husband and I had to talk to the finance company we had to track the check we had to send over all the information showing we didn't own the car any longer. Jeff Smith Ford in Byron Ga has lost us as customers. We will never ever buy a vehicle from them again. The finance dept is horrible. read more

Please Find another place to purchase a vehicle from! We have been taken advantage of, lied too and rushed into the process.They are low down, conartist that will lie and pressure you into purchasing a vehicle with them, please avoid or use another place of business that values you as a customer. Even after contacting Anna@jeffsmithford no resolution, no help was provided, we basically are stuck with something we may not can afford. Never been more disappointed. From salesman: Jeff Woodard FYI I haven't lied to no customer I told my customer exactly what my finance director at Jeff Smith told me!! And yes I have seen customers that was already had a car loan with Robins get the rowdy rates they do what they want to do!! Second thing I don't have to lye to dam body to sell a car I can assure you of that!! And third thing don't blame your bad financial decisions that you made before you bought from me!!! Grow up and take responsibility for your on actions!!!! I bought my truck at this dealership. I took it in to have it waxed to remove some scratches and paid $155. When I went to pick it up they had not waxed the top of the roof. When asked the detail shop said it was done but service manager agreed it was not. Very disappointing to pay what I did and for it not to be completed and then lied to. read more

Either their mechanics are incompetent and repairs are priced accordingly or the people responsible for quoting repairs are blatantly trying to rip people off. Either way, avoid this place. You will save THOUSANDS if you get a second opinion on your repair. read more

I bought a 2017 Ford at Jeff Smith in Byron. After the purchase I was told by my salesman he only had one key but would call previous owner and get second key {as they are $$$} I called many times trying to talk to my salesman. He would not return my calls. After 10 days of no response I responded to a survey with a 1 star and told how no one would call me back. I got a call the next day from my salesman and he started yelling at me and telling me I had bad character and was a bad person and then hung up on me. So, I drove back to Jeff Smith talked to sales manager. He also told me they would get me my second key just like my salesman did. After 14 days trying to get a key was finally told after many calls. We are not getting you a key. After promising and assuring me all this time I was getting a second key. I was lied to the whole time. A new key is $250 and $50 more to program it after paying $46,000 for a 2017 truck you would think Jeff Smith Ford in Byron would get a second key as promised. I've bought 4 new cars from Jeff Smith and one used 2017 truck. I will not buy from any JEFF SMITH again... Thanks I'll make sure to tell all my friends how I was treated... read more

I have been on the hunt for the perfect vehicle for a while... After a not so pleasant experience at another Ford dealership, I visited Jeff Smith Ford and was pleasantly surprised... Not only did they have a wide selection, they had the one vehicle I have been searching for.... Every single person that I encountered was amazing.... Took my mustang in for its first 5k mile service and after an hour and a half of waiting I get told its 50 dollars and it was just an oil change done. I had a coupon for the works which included tire rotation which needed to be done for only 39.99.... And the guy told me I couldn't use my coupon because they didn't do the works on my car....... Wow. And I when I first arrived I asked him if I had gotten any free oil changes seeing as it's a brand new car (purchased elsewhere but still he could look and let me know if I had any free oil changes in the system) and well after they do the oil change he then tells me I didn't have a maintenance plan... Like you could have told me this before you did the work on my car. Just a bad experience... Should have just taken it back where I purchased it from and gotten my 5k mile service FREE! Next time before you do work on peoples cars maybe you should tell them how much it's gonna cost them and let them use their coupons!!!! read more
