Let me start with the positives. The dental hygienists at Jefferson County Dental are very friendly. That about covers the positives. Now for the reasons of why you should never, ever step foot inside this dentist's office. I have been a patient here for over 5 years (until this last April) and am very good about taking good care of my teeth. A few years back, my husband had Dr. Cajigal replace all of his metal fillings from his childhood with porcelain fillings. Very simple task, that even the worst dentist should be able to do, right? Nope. He drilled one of my husband's old fillings out too far, hitting the nerve, causing him to have to go to a specialist to have a root canal done. Thank goodness Dr. Cajigal is not qualified to do root canals, seeing as he cannot even do a filling! This last year, I have had some issues that should have been as simple as filling two cavities and fitting me for a crown, but both procedures were done completely incorrectly. First, let me say that I have since started going to another dentist, and he is the very best dentist that I have ever been to. The only unfortunate thing is that I didn't find him sooner, as he is having to perform root canals because Dr. Cajigal drilled the teeth out too close to the root, therefore causing a tooth absess, not once, but twice. Also, two crowns that Dr. Cajigal has fitted me for (one in March of this year), and another in the past, were both fitted incorrectly and are ill fitting, therefore causing me to have decay where the crown should've been covering the teeth, in turn causing me to need new, proper fitting crowns, and another root canal (in the case of the crown that was fitted wrong in the past). I cannot say enough bad things about this dentist. He is completely unprofessional, completely unpersonable, and always seems more interested in sitting around goofing off with this staff, rather than seeing to patients teeth and doing simple dental procedures properly (such as filling cavities and fitting crowns). The crown that I had fitted in March of this year was done by one of his hygienists (which I thought was completely wrong, seeing as he's the dentist) and she fitted me with a temporary crown that was a complete joke. A big, obnoxious silver piece, that was sized so wrong for the size of my tooth, that it kept falling out over the course of 2 weeks (happened 3 times). Was she using Elmer's glue?! I should've run at that point, but I thought, "He's a dentist, me must know what he's doing, right?" WRONG! If you value your teeth and the health of your mouth, you will absolutely stay away from this dentist at all costs! I would never let this dentist touch my mouth, or anyone that I cared about, ever again! read more

Horrible place. Horrible experience. We just moved to this state and we were referred to them. My daughter and I went in for our 6 month cleaning and my dental hygienist flossed my tooth so hard that my crown popped out. She laughed and said oops. The girl cleaning my daughter's tooth didn't talk to her or carry on any conversations. My daughter felt so uncomfortable. They forced me to get a whole new crown. Never said sorry, nothing. Put my old crown back on until the new one came in. It fell off twice. Went in to have the new crown put back on was told they would pick up the remaining balance of the crown then called back the next day and said we had to pay it in full and the dentist actually threatened my husband on the phone. The dentist said, "I will rip that F%^&#ing out of her mouth, if you don't pay." So unprofessional and unfriendly and rude. I would NEVER in a million years refer anyone to them. DON'T GO HERE!!!! read more

I'm not a patient but I received a message on IG from the business account from Steven asking me if I need a nude model. My page is slightly art related, but by no means do I indicate that I am searching for nude models. I don't organize figure drawing groups. Who messages that to a someone posting amateur abstract art? The tone of his message creeped me tf out. Judge for yourself, but I think that was a weird move. I wouldn't feel comfortable going to this dental office or referring other women here. read more
