I overlooked a spate of less-than favorable reviews and arrived before my 8am appointment and checked in with the efficient desk person. A few minutes after 8, a very pleasant technician took a whole-mouth x-ray and showed me to an examination room. I sat in the side chair for 50 minutes as staff members passed back and forth past the doorway. I was not approached by anyone who offered an update or explanation. I walked out, stopping at the front desk to let the chap there know I was going and that my insurance was NOT to be billed for the x-ray. While that remains to be seen, I will not be back.

I went in and sat in an also full waiting room. Just there a couple of minutes when one of the staff started calling names to confirm who was there. Right after they started calling people back to their appointments. I was the last one to arrive but I got called back as well. Hayley was my Hygienist and she led me to one of the rooms to get going. She asked a few questions and made notes in my chart, she was super friendly and we got to know each other a little as my appointment went on. Since it was my first official visit and cleaning, I needed a full round of x-rays, something I dread at the dentist office. It was pain free and quick so amazing! The whole process was easy and pleasant. The office is super nice and all of the staff are so personable. When Dr. Welker came in and reviewed everything with me, he took his time, didn't seem rushed, and answered all my questions. When I was done, I got a review of the plan of action for my issues with a cost break down and all information printed for me to take with me. This practice is family focused and it shows in all the things they do. I am really glad I was directed here when I decided to change dentists,

One of my front two teeth were filled by Dr. Farmer which lasted 10 years. Once one of the new crew filled it, it broke or chipped at least 5 times in different places when I was eating regular foods only a few weeks later. Once Dr. Spring herself fixed it, it has chipped even more, stained terribly, they worked on a tooth that did not need it, really bad experience.

The reception person was able to squeeze her in to be seen the same day. When we arrived, we were immediately brought to an exam room and an assistant had us fill out some minor paperwork. The dentist arrived very shortly thereafter. He patiently adjusted my mom's dentures, making certain that she could take them out and put them back in without problem, and wear the dentures without discomfort. It didn't take that long, but he was friendly and entirely concentrated on making my mom comfortable. Wonderful!

(Dr. Pooja Patel has recently joined the team.)They handle basic dental care, extractions, cleanings, fillings, crowns and many other dental proceedures. Throughout the many years my family has been treated like members of a 'greater family'. Dr Phan provides caring advice and her diagnosis has always been spot on. Dr.Phan recently helped with a loose tooth. Both doctors have excellent knowledge and great tool skills. They are always friendly, respectful, and very helpful. My wife and both kids were also treated there and it has been equally great. It is a Quality shop. MVD has clean and nice rooms (since the expansion) Their equipmenty is well maintained, and have taken advantage of technology updates. They've always worked with my different health plans. (Jobs, retirement and now MEDICARE.) The office staff works hard to arrange & coordinate associative services (Like my oral surgeon) Their communication is spot on with text and email reminders. Probably the best part for me is that I can relax in the chair with little to no stress. The techs have good technique and soft hands. I always feel great after cleanings.
