Number one that I was sitting closest to the lady behind the glass, decided that she was going to close and go to lunch without even calling another number or saying she was going to lunch so my number was going to be kicked out and I would have to get another number, but I made my way to her window and I told her that my number was up next and I need it to be assisted. Well she put the window back up she assisted me it took all of 20 minutes to get it taken care of, and she was off to lunch, I don't think she appreciated the fact that I stopped her from going to her lunch but I did apologize after all there was a lot of us there and I'm sure a lot of us were hungry and ready to go to lunch as well. Other than that the place was extremely clean very well stocked with informative information And plenty of accessible parking with accessible bathrooms Thanks For The Read Until Next Time

JEFFERSON COUNTY DISTRICT ATTORNEY…read more --Inappropriate, manipulative, hurtful, presumptuous, unpardonable-- My experience with Jefferson County District Attorney's office was eye-opening to the dysfunction of the justice system, which involved Chandler Paxson Grant being assigned to the case. A nescient police officer wrote an unfounded citation against an innocent citizen, which resulted in the case being dropped due to lack of a crime having been committed. Chandler's indignance at the system's obvious errors had to fall on someone: the innocent citizen being accused. Instead of recognizing or acknowledging that a wrong had been done, Chandler had to have his pound of flesh. He chastised and insulted a good person, the victim of an imperfect justice system, trying to break them down emotionally and manipulate them into believing an officer's ignorant mistakes were the fault of the accused, when what he should have been doing was seeing to it that the officer be disciplined or, at the very least, educated regarding areas needing improvement. Chandler presumed to know things about a person he was meeting for the first time based upon limited information learned only from a police report full of lies, written by an officer lacking experience and sound judgment. He went so far as to attack the support person who accompanied the accused--an individual who hadn't even been charged with a crime! He acted like he knew everything there was to know based upon biased and limited information written by a cop trained to see people as criminals. Chandler pretended to be the expert regarding a family he knew nothing about. His pointed, vengeful comments completely missed the mark, demonstrating a lack of professionalism we can only hope never to experience again. In spite of innocence and facts he didn't care to hear, Chandler went for the jugular. He made judgmental, hurtful and misguided comments from his privileged seat of "power" to people who are just as educated and law-abiding as he is. What did he imagine the outcome of that would be? There are some who might be devastated and beaten down by the words of someone so "polished and powerful," but in this case, we could see right through the deflective manipulation intended to pass the buck and hide the apparent mistakes of an insular police officer. Those involved in the justice system will go to any length to hide its flaws, to avoid being litigated against. They will do everything in their power to maintain control over the people, including trying to convince innocent persons that it's their fault when law enforcement make hasty and egregious mistakes. Seeing how innocent people are treated, we have to wonder how poorly others are being treated; guilty or innocent, everyone has a right to be treated with some degree of respect and not have unfounded assumptions thrown at them. Before you interact with Jefferson County Courts, please do everything you can to hire an attorney! Even if you can't afford an attorney, do everything in your power to come up with the funds. I shudder to think how the outcome might have been different if we hadn't had legal representation. Lawyers twist facts any which way they can to prove guilt, and they're trained experts at doing so!

The collision caused our car to flip and land on its roof. We were taken to the hospital. Fortunately our injuries were not serious-- bruises and sprains; my husband had a gash on his head, and I had a burn on my arm from the airbag -- so we were released. Our car was a total loss. We had been planning a vacation, hoping it wouldn't be our last one together, but we were so sore and shaken from the crash that we postponed our trip. Unfortunately, my husband died 4 months later. The driver who hit us, injured us, wrecked our car and deprived us of time together, had his charge reduced from Careless Driving to Defective Vehicle and received a $35 fine plus court costs and fees. I was appalled. The district attorney's office could not have done less or cared less They are clearly incompetent and disdainful of justice and the well-being of the citizens of Colorado. They are a disgrace.
