I had a face-to-face meeting with one of the maintenance team members that came to my apartment…read moretelling me that he would be there in 35 minutes to replace the dishwasher, (the dishwasher that needed replaced years earlier) I canceled my appointments for the rest of the afternoon moved everything out of the way so that they could have a clear path in and out and then he never showed up not even a courtesy call or a courtesy walk over to let me know that tomorrow would be the day... however as I expected I got work up bring and early the next day, (good thing I was home ) and there was "Reggie" he was a fill in Maint tech that roams from property to property and helping properties with work orders . Reggie showed up with a new dishwasher and a smile and a apology, after I told him what had happen. It wasn't his place to apologize for something that wasn't his fault but I did appreciate the effort.. Reggie came in and picked up the whole dishwasher and brought it in without even using the dolly which I thought was boss Moves, and fastly and efficiently put it in, if he had been given a maintenance card it would've went a lot faster. The poor guy had to bring the dishwasher over on a dolly all the way from the office to building 19, I felt really bad for him definitely being the poverty could improve by more maintenance teams to quickly do more work orders. It's frustrating that I had a few other little work orders in the apartment, but he was unable to do them if there was one thing that I could suggest is when you have multiple work orders in even if one of those work orders is an emergency and the rest aren't go ahead and knock them all out while you're there, it just makes sense to me. But I digress Reggie was a peach and I am grateful for his fast and cheerful service. I wish she was a maintenance member of Saxon Woods full-time!

***i cannot stress this enough, renter beware!*** typing in all caps because renters need to know…read morethis information. this place has a wide variety of issues but one being a severe mold issue. they delayed a/c repairs over and over again which caused leaking into the ceiling and causing damage to the shower and bathtub. they will tell you there isnt a mold problem and paint over it for it to only come back. they will tell you they fix your a/c but re filling it does not fix the root issue which is leaking. now they are saying that we are responsible for the cleaning and damages. we have pictures of mold and water damages dating back 2+ years as well as email and work order correspondences nothing was resolved. there was a wide variety of health issues experienced here and once moved out and adjusted have been improving but working with doctors. texas health dept has been notified. please for your health and peace of mind do not rent here.

Pool is always dirty. They leave it up to the maintenance people to keep the pool clean but they…read morehave no clue what they are doing. Parking garage will not close so all residents cars are subject to being broken in to. Floors within the apartment are disgusting and the bottom floors smell like trash. Don't move here. Only reason I live here is because it's convenient for me. Attached are pictures of how dirty the pool cleaners are. Plus IM the one who emptied the cleaner so it could keep cleaning the dirt out of the pool.

He greeted me right when I walked in with a smile, and his professionalism and confidence made me feel like I had come to the right place. His knowledge of the community and the area was impressive for someone who had only been there two days at that. The community itself is just stunning, beautiful grounds, gorgeous gym..and that pool! I could swim in that pool for days!! He answered all of my questions with ease and made the process fun and exciting even though i wasn't interested in touring. It was nice to see someone who is personable for once as he had answers to all of my questions without having to always ask someone else. You can tell that he genuinely cares about the people and the community. I was very impressed and grateful for his help as I am not used to apartments, so I needed a little help. I cannot say enough about the staff: kind, friendly, patient, and work with grace. The property is safe especially if you're solo living. Love the fact that I was within a 5-7 minute drive to a Walmart, target and lots of food. Easy access to the tollway and 75. If it weren't for my upstairs neighbor being COMPLETELY inconsiderate that someone was living below them, being unable to afford a squeaky bed during their intimate times or stomping instead of actually walking. Or the smoker in the garage below this place would be perfect for anyone. My next door neighbors were really nice and quiet however. I don't blame the property or the staff as there is only so much they can do. I do like the trash valet, because walking to the trash can has never been my favorite thing. Just try to make friends with them, they're really nice and they'll look out for you. The gym is great. I always went during non peak hours so I never had to wait in line for a machine. My recommendations: if you can live on the 3rd floor but PLEASE be considerate to your downstairs neighbors

Imagine our shock this morning when we discovered our car was towed from the very carport that we pay extra to rent! We are absolutely certain our vehicle was registered, but the leasing office refused to take any responsibility, claiming our car wasn't in their system. They completely refused to cover the towing fee, leaving us with no choice but to pay nearly $400 out of our own pockets just to get our car back. The most infuriating part is how the Community Manager handled it. They brushed me off by saying that if I could provide the original "confirmation email" from when we registered the car, they would reimburse the towing fee. After looking into it, I realized the truth: their broken system never sends an automated confirmation email when you register a vehicle in the first place! It's a completely rigged system. Management is intentionally demanding a nonexistent document to make things difficult for residents and to avoid taking responsibility for their own system glitches and chaotic management. This is the kind of horrible management and utter lack of accountability you get after being a loyal resident for three years. If you don't want to pay for a parking spot only to get towed, and if you don't want to be treated like a fool by management when trying to stand up for your rights, DO NOT MOVE HERE.

The bug issue at these apartments is ridiculous. We dealt with ants crawling into our apartment through cracks in the floor boards (literally coming right through the floor in our closet and living room), roaches, and gnats regularly, despite being clean and requesting pest control services multiple times. Their pest control was pretty useless.They don't treat their grounds at all, so we also were constantly stepping in ant hills or getting fire ants off of our dog. Other than bugs, the first issue was rain getting into our windows and through the back door; it took multiple requests to get this fixed. It caused damage that they then blamed us for at move out. There is also NO parking at all. Nobody uses their garages and the apartments tow vehicles nonstop. They allow people to do business out of their apartments, so we literally had to deal with people parking in our drive way on occasion. They towed my husband's work truck without any warning, and we had to pay nearly $300 to get it back.They also charges us a bogus water fee of $300 when we moved out and a threat to send us to collections for it.. Makes absolutely no sense. They're just trying to swindle people out of their money. The worst part was that the walls and ceilings are PAPER THIN. Our neighbors were so loud, and we could hear them like they were in our room. We asked multiple staff members multiple times to do something about how unreasonably loud our neighbors were, and they completely ignored every request. I feel so sorry for whoever ends up moving in our old apartment. Living their greatly diminished our quality of life. They call themselves a gated community, but the gates never work. They'll send 10 automated emails a week, but it is nearly impossible to get ahold of anyone at the office ever. They're constantly closing early, and they never answer the phone. I can't tell if they are understaffed, incompetent, or just don't care. If all of that isn't enough, the location is also terrible. You will be regretting living off of 380 immediately.

We terminated our lease early by agreement due to severe cockroach infestations and chemical exposure that made our home uninhabitable and hospitalized our dog. Upon move‑out, I received a final account statement from our previous property manager showing $176.12 owed. Months later, the new manager, Precious, fabricated a revised statement adding over $1,700 in false "insufficient notice" fees and sent it to collections, damaging my credit. I have both statements in writing and proof of the agreement. Despite providing this to management, they refused to correct the error. Renters, be warned: this property does not take accountability and will alter your charges after you leave.

Any comments from the business is just for show to the public. 10/25/2025 - First Tour My leasing agent was Dustin. He shared false info throughout this process. I was told I would receive an email with unit details and pricing. I never received it. 10/26/2025 - Second Tour I returned due to the lack of follow-up. I was told multiple things that were not true by Dustin: The 8 weeks free concession could be spread over the lease term (incorrect) A unit could be held for 60 days with lower price changes (incorrect) The pool was heated year-round, he confirmed over 3 times (incorrect) I was again told by Dustin that I'd receive an email immediately. I had to call twice on 10/27 and stay on the phone until it was sent. 11/3/2025 Due to no responses to emails, I went in person. I finally received a delayed quote and applied that day. After applying, communication remained poor. Emails went unanswered, and I had to repeatedly call for updates. I was still being given incorrect information. 11/18/2025 I went back in person after continued lack of communication. I was told by Dustin that my application was approved "that day" and that I'd receive lease documents that day. I did not. I was told emails were being sent while I was there--never received. Promised follow-ups and accommodation information were not provided. It took until 11/30 to finally receive lease documents, despite being told they would be sent "same day" since 11/18. Communication issues continued into December, including conflicting information about renters insurance that caused unnecessary delays and required multiple corrections (interested party address different on lease vs. welcome home letter). Calls and emails went unanswered for days. 12/15/2025 - Move-In Day The move-in experience was unprofessional. Nothing was prepared by Dustin--no folder, mail key, or welcome items. Even the ribbon cutting had to be put together in front of me. I waited 3 hours for Dustin to bring my trashcan, and even called multiple times. He went to lunch and never brought it. The unit itself was unacceptable: Dirty dishes left in the dishwasher with odor Human urine stains around the toilet Bedroom & closet carpets covered in pet URINE stains with a STRONG smell. The odor was so severe I couldn't stay in the unit. I had to move my bed to the living room and spend nights elsewhere. Guests could smell it immediately upon entering. It took over 10 days to replace the carpet, with pushback suggesting the damage was caused by me, which was completely inaccurate. (My dog hadn't even been in the unit when I reported it) Photos they sent me prior to move-in showed the stains, despite being told the carpets were cleaned. I could hear the loud sighs when I'd enter the office to talk to management. Promised follow-ups, including cleaning the human urine on the toilet did not happen. I cleaned it myself. After over a month of me sending follow-ups, I was offered only $250 for the inconvenience. The battle isn't worth it anymore. Corporate still to this day hasn't followed up. This property markets itself as "luxury," but neither the service nor living conditions reflected that--especially at over $2,000/month. Additionally, I received a "courtesy" notice about pet waste in my yard, while surrounding units consistently had/have visible waste. When I asked for proof, I received no response. I never leave pet waste in my yard. The dog park is constantly filled with pet waste. I'll be content now that my only communication is with the GREAT maintenance team. The other leasing agents are nice, at least to my face. I hope that I don't have any other issues that result in my needing real help again, because I already know what that battle will look like. If they even try to raise my rent (if I even want to sign again) that would be comical. Over $2,000 is already too expensive for this experience and place. The response I received from the Google review told me to email them but then didn't leave an email.
