We moved here from another state and the staff here were amazing. They helped us through all the paperwork. Our daughter lives in a sister property and she took pictures of the property and was very pleased with all the amenities, pool, gym, pool room, TV room, game room, etc. Th property is beautiful and the apartments have a lot of amenities too. We love the Frisco Square area with all the restaurants, bars, library, Cinamark, Frisco museums, soccer field! Just to name a few. We love it here and highly recommend the Remy apartments! read more

They deleted my Google reviews so coming to Yelp to post the remaining reviews they deleted (I had split it up into 4 on Google due to length). I'll have to split it up here too. Where to even start with this horribly run, awful complex. I suppose let's start with the staff. Here we go. I want to preface this with the property manager has remained the same since the property opened in April 2024, (I moved in May 2024) yet the remainder of the staff has had HIGH turnover. Stacey the property manager is rude, condescending, evades all accountability and will blame you for things you have nothing to do with. Stacey accused me of having a man living with me and ran with this narrative for 8 months and counting because I used a man's name for my doordash orders for safety reasons. I explained this to both she and the staff and I was still accused of this. She CONTINUED to blame me for this until I moved out too. It was the wildest thing I had ever experienced at any apartment. It wasn't framed as a concern either. It was a direct attack, a random email on a random Tuesday that read, and I quote, "is the man living with you gone?" Which this is a lease violation by the way so she was trying to get me for a lease violation. Mind you, I lived here for a year and a half with no complaints made against me. All the good reviews written about Hira are from her friends and family. I had a really horrible experience with her sharing my personal info with the neighbor beneath me. I had complained about the neighbor beneath me's smoking as they would smoke nightly and it would come up into my room while I was trying to sleep. She Called me 3 days later and said "yeah I told the neighbor beneath you that you complained and he was talking about you". WHAT?!??? I never met this neighbor nor did I have any idea who they were at all. She told them my personal information which is a fair housing law violation and they could've retaliated against me which I addressed to her and she rudely responded denying it. Stacey the manager backed her on this. I didn't have any negative experiences with Tammara or CanDase as I never met Tammara and CanDase I only interacted with twice. It was Stacey and Hira I had negative experiences with. CanDase is sweet but she seems to be afraid to stand up to Stacey. Maintenance - I have truly never met a more incompetent, lazy maintenance staff in my entire life. My washer leaked every single time I used it from the time I moved in until I moved out. There was never a time it didn't leak throughout my entire tenancy here. When I first moved in, maintnence was in my unit 3-4x per week "fixing it" but it was never fixed. I was initially told it was a drain line issue the first time they came to fix it (which it was). Ironically, as I began to speak up about why they had been in my unit 3-4x per week with no solution of it being fixed, maintenance began blaming me stating it was a leaking because I "used too much detergent." This was false as I had used the washer in a vacant unit at one point since mine never worked, I used the same amount of detergent and ran 3 loads, and no leaks. They continued to blame me and never fixed it. There was one time my washer had leaked all the way into my bedroom. For reference, the washer is located at the front of each apartment as soon as you walk in. I told Kurt the maintenance guy and he said he didn't believe me since I had cleaned up the water prior to him arriving. The water had leaked into the laundry room door and baseboards and Kurts response was "this wood doesn't mold due to the materials its made of" which I thought was a really strange thing to say as I've never heard of this ever as this isn't physically possible. Both he and the Whirlpool tech told me that for future leaks to not worry about them because the water will evaporate. Yeah, well my entire laundry closet and door ended up molding. BAD. Due to their incompetence. Photos attached. Mind you, I made the entire leasing office very aware of my mold allergy upon move in and even sent them a letter from my doctor stating my allergy to it. The lack of urgency with fixing leaks prior to molding was really insane. They're now charging me for this and won't return my security deposit although I complained about this as soon as it happened and it was never properly fixed by Kurt in maintenance. read more

Just moved from Plano less than 2 weeks ago and this is my 5th/6th (?) apartment in the DFW area. I hit the jackpot with this place. Truly. I don't think I've ever written positive experience with a property before. * This place and the people who run it have blown my expectations out of the water. Communication is point. Everything is thoughtful and unproblematic. The building is AWESOME. Everything is new, but more importantly, not cheap in terms of quality or functionality. * Even with luxury apartments, I've come to expect trash or pet accidents. The property is immaculately kept and I SEE them actively maintain it (well)! * Hira Z from the leasing office is a straight-up baddie who sold me on the place. I broke my lease to move here and she's made me feel so welcome. It feels like a wonderful fresh start! For once, I'm going to use the amenities. * Mail Room is well-kept. This place is THOUGHTFUL. The package room has refrigeration, all are marked by unit so it's super easy to find you what's yours. My old place was so bad at this. Getting packages is unproblematic and the room is super tidy with a good amount of space to move around. * Parking garage is 100% ideal. It's totally secure and when you need to get in/out, you don't have to wait for the gate to flip up. It's so fast so AWESOME if you're in a rush. * Gym and other amenities are a dream. All the equipment is new, there's so much natural light, and the upstairs studio of the 2-story gym gives a girl space to sprawl out in peace if she wants to. * My new space (2 bed/bath) is 1160 sq feet. The finishes and shortage are GREAT. No complaints from me. * It's super easy and SAFE to take my dog out for a walk. He's so happy with the greenery around and the new doggo friends he passes by on walks. Bottom line - I love it here. (No one incentivized me to post this. It's just good to give flowers to people who do good work.) read more

Gorgeous building. The pool area feels like a resort. I love the sky lounge. Views for miles. Sunets with the firepit on the roof are the best way to end the day. Its clean and kept well. Best place in frisco square. read more

This review is strictly regarding the leasing office at The Remy. Can'Dase' has been my go to and has been the most helpful person I've ever encountered at any apartments. All of my concerns I've brought up, she's handled the quickest and has been the best communicator. I would highly recommend working with her, she's def made my stay at the Remy much better read more

If you haven't seen REMY APTS... you're in for a very nice surprise! Beautiful units, and Staff is really AWESOME!

This place is a complete dumpster fire, and I'm not one to leave reviews, so this says a lot. If you're considering living here, I strongly suggest looking at the other three complexes in Frisco Square or even avoiding all Equity Residential Properties altogether. The first complaint is the roaches and spiders. It's so bad that I shouldn't have to worry about showering with guests. My second complaint is the internet issues. If you work from home or enjoy using the internet inside your apartment, you might as well skip this place. The internet is always crashing or completely out. If you have a pet, be prepared to be billed for a full carpet replacement at the end of your lease, regardless of normal wear and tear. Apparently, they're notorious for this. Also, be prepared to pay $75 for a parking spot, which is crazy when everyone parks wherever they want. And let's not forget that both garage doors never work, and sometimes they're both broken at the same time! Imagine trying to get to work in the morning and not being able to get out. Oh, wait, I know what that's like! Please do your due diligence when looking at the Remy. In the beginning, this place was a 10/10, but after some staff changes and poor overall maintenance and management it quickly became a 1/10. read more

The lobby and shared amenities are beautiful, but living in this apartment building is really draining. Frequent infestations, terribly managed trash rooms, internet outages, appliance failures, poor construction quality. I say these things to warn any potential residents so that they won't be disappointed like I was. And when I say infestations, I mean ROACHES in a brand new building. read more

We've been at Remy for nearly a month and have been very pleased with the experience and all of our interactions with staff. They've gone above and beyond to make everything as convenient as possible for us and everyone is very friendly. I've spoken mostly with Hira who is amazing at what she does and is always very helpful. I work from home and have not had any issues whatsoever with the wifi or any noise. The building has a great community feel to it and my neighbors are also super friendly which is nice. Then the apartment itself is stunning. The gym is also fantastic which was a huge seller, was paying 100+ for a luxury gym but now I just use the one here and it has everything I need. After touring nearly a dozen buildings in Frisco and having lived in other "luxury communities" previously, I am so glad we chose Remy. Truly a gem! read more

i had an awful experience living here, staff is never here and when they are they act so bothered to help you out they're always on their phone or watching a movie on the computers. when i first moved in the ac in my unit stopped working 7-8 times over and over again during the summer. staff expects handicapped residents to "figure it out themselves" in case of emergency when the only handicap unit is on the 5th floor. very rude they don't allow pets on the grass. when i moved out i still had some friends living here and staff (hira) told them i need to "get a grip on life" because i chose to move in with my boyfriend read more

This is hands down the worst living experience I've ever had in my entire life. Please read each bad review both on here and Google reviews and see how we're all saying the exact same things as none of these issues have been fixed. The new WiFi they installed is actually WORSE than the old one and they won't let us get our own routers. No apps work, I have to turn my wifi off to even get Outlook to work, no transactions work unless it's off, and none of us can get work done. On top of this, you don't get any service in this building regardless of carrier so a hotspot doesn't help and it boils down to a safety issue with consistent unstable WiFi and no service. This on top of the persistent all year round massive roach issue, insanely high humidity in our units that goes ignored, mold on the baseboards outside of the shower that also goes ignored by maintenance claiming "they're not fixing it again because it's happening to everyone with this apt layout" verbatim, HUH?!??, the rude management who will blame you as the tenant for everything without taking an ounce of accountability, persistent weed smoke smell in a smoke free building because management doesn't care and does absolutely nothing about it, the garage door breaks weekly, the locks on the front door downstairs never work so anyone can enter the building at any time, the list goes on. PLEASE do yourself a favor and DO NOT MOVE HERE ITS AN ABSOLUTE LIVING NIGHTMARE AND A HEADACHE!!!! Please save yourself the stress and look elsewhere! read more

Just take a moment to look over the Google Reviews it's completely unacceptable for a company to treat it's tenants the way Remy does. The most overpriced unprofessional group of individuals I've ever dealt with, if you want a moment of clarity or peace you will NOT receive it here. Gates have broken 6 times in the Year I lived there, Internet has gone down 10 times, mice, roaches, ants, animal droppings in the halls it sounds like a joke but it's very much real and serious there's nothing funny about it please make an educated decision before you're stuck in a lease like so many of us were. read more

Make sure you check Google reviews before you decide to step foot in this place. This place is a joke. Remy claims to be a "luxury" apartment building. Nothing about this building is luxurious. The internet is a shared network that you'll be forced to use and pay for. If you work from home just know It goes down every other week ALL DAY. Management is no help and only started to care once tenants started bombing their google reviews. They'll tell you it's an area outage, which is a lie because none of the other buildings in the area have this issue. The trash never gets picked up on time, yet you're forced to pay for it monthly. This place is infested with roaches, ants, and mice. Tenants constantly smoke weed in their units and the smell will come out of your vents despite this community being smoke free and management does nothing about it. They have no sense of urgency to solve the major issues in the building, but have no problem hounding and pestering you over hanging something up on your balcony. Stay far away from Remy. It's not worth the stress and frustration read more

Make an informed decision RE: REMY APTs. In Frisco PROS: -Superficially, the complex is very attractive on the surface, with very nice appliances and in-apartment finishes -Maintenance is typically very responsive to service requests -Front office crew serves a "friendly face" -The complex is close to the hwy as well as a variety of eateries and life conveniences -Neighbors thus far seem to be very pleasant and cooperative in keeping the community clean and with good energy. CONS: -Too many maintenance requests for a new building -Daily complex construction with noise starting before 7am at times and lasting throughout the day, also unsightly construction trash and debris and machinery surrounding complex that you must navigate -You are required to accept their chosen internet/wifi service of $60mo. and pay it with your rent, however the service has been shotty and inconsistent at best and whenever there's a problem, they refer you to an AT&T number as opposed to them handling it for you even though it's the complex is who has the account. -Their water utility service CONservice seems to have random charge fees that are always changing (increasing), despite your water usage remaining the same. I'm use to having a simple water/sewer fee. Now it's admin fee this and admin fee that, and other mysterious charges that no one can explain. I've never had an apt. water bill over $100 before.... -You have to register your car and pay a one time parking garage access fee, yet if you forget to hang a decal on your rearview mirror, they will allow your car to be towed even though it is registered, is inside a secure garage that only residents have access to, and can clearly be looked up and verified. -Depending on where your apartment is, the parking complex can be a very long walk to your actual apartment and street parking is extremely limited. -There is currently a complex in the earlier stages of construction directly across from REMY, so just expect to have to contend with all the nuances that come with that for a while. read more
