    False advertising.

Unfortunately will not be returning as they refused to turn on the volume for the Alabama football game they advertised. The few people that were there wanted to see the game but we were told the boss said no volume. So we were all forced to watch a silent game while dated pitiful disco music was blaring. Thanks, Fabulous game night guys. We won't be back.

Sign out front of Jefferson Street Pub that night.

Jefferson Street Pub advertised University of Alabama game on sign posted in front of the business. Went in and ordered food and beverage and when game started they continued to blare outdated disco music through the sound system (Kool and The Gang - which no one was enjoying) if I recall. When I very respectfully asked the manager to turn on the sound for the game he said his boss directed him not to. Jefferson Street Pub should not advertise / promote themselves as a spot to enjoy a University of Alabama game, and then refuse to play the sound of the game Jefferson Street Pub used to draw customers in / promote / advertise. Pure bait and switch. I paid my bill, tipped my waitstaff well, and walked out of Jefferson Street Pub feeling very tricked by them, and will not return.

We go every Wednesday for wing night. The wings are amazing, always consistent, I like the atmosphere, and our server, Nita, is awesome!

Good vibes, down to earth people and live music. Don't be afraid of the tequila and ranch shot!

THE best bar in Huntsville. The staff is fast, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is also a door to a night club that is awesome as well.

Prohibition was giving out glasses, LED tubes, sparklers and playing upbeat music. We danced, laughed, swung our lights around and peaked through the blinking shades. The restaurant sits just a stone's throw from the ballpark where the Rocket City Trash Pandas play, so the whole place already has a fun, lively atmosphere before you even sit down. Now given the name "Prohibition," I half expected someone to knock on the door and ask for a secret password like it was 1927. Back in those days, enjoying a drink required secrecy, dim lights, and maybe a jazz band playing in the corner. Today, things are a little easier... though for this non-drinker, my order was simple: water on the rocks, hold the lemon. I prefer my water about 100 proof for maximum flavor. My boss and coworker grabbed seats at the bar while we looked over the menu. We kicked things off with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Pork Bao Buns. Let me tell you, those Pork Belly Burnt Ends were an absolute masterpiece. They came out crisp and seasoned just right with a little spicy kick. Served with raw carrots, homemade pickles, and lettuce wraps to bundle those little jewels together--downright tasty. If food had a Hall of Fame, these would already have a plaque on the wall. The Pork Bao Buns were good as well, but they simply couldn't match the grand slam the Pork Belly Burnt Ends delivered. For my main course, I ordered the Smoked Wangs with the Jala Mango seasoning and a side salad. The wings were delicious--cooked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was solid. No bootlegging required. Prohibition definitely hit it out of the park today. Between the great food, the great service, and the fun atmosphere near the ballpark, this place is a must-stop for locals or anyone just passing through Madison. Our waitress tried pretty hard to convince us to order dessert, so I'm guessing their sweets are just as flavorful as everything else on the menu. The only problem I had today? I couldn't finish my meal. I was absolutely stuffed. If this had been the 1920s, the only crime committed here would've been leaving food on the plate. Great food. Great service. I'll gladly return--though next time I may need a little more room in the stomach.

It's small inside, with the main room containing the bar, along with a handful of 4-top tables and TVs, and one additional room with a pool table and some other sporty things like a dart board. I would liken it to a dive bar; however, it is really clean! In fact it looks like it's been remodeled recently. And it's open till 2:00 AM. Back in the day, they allowed smoking inside, but I doubt they still do - although they *may*. Please call before you go to find out if smoking is allowed. Also, apparently, now they serve food (at least pizzas) , which wasn't the case when I would drop in here. They have daily drink specials ($3 bloody marys on Sundays) and karaoke. This is where you go for a house (call brand) high ball or a cold beer. Although they offer a full bar, I doubt they have a vast selection of craft beers or specialty cocktails (with smoked garnishes and unique ice cubes) like you would find at Sip or Catacomb. This is a local friendly bar with a small footprint. I'm sure after your first visit here, you will leave a friend and a regular!
