    Bar with family
    Samantha I.

My first and last visit to Twin Peaks and had mixed experiences. I was unaware of the restaurant's concept and that it wasn't a suitable environment for families my daughters were very uncomfortable. My waitress was fantastic--super friendly, which made the experience a bit better. The manager even stepped in to offer help, showing that they care about customer service. Unfortunately, the food was a letdown. The taste just didn't hit the mark, and the portions were surprisingly small for the price. It was disappointing because with such great service, I expected more from the meal. Overall, while the staff was excellent, the food quality made it hard to recommend this place.

If you're going here for the lively atmosphere, friendly waitstaff, or to catch sports on the TV with a drink in hand, this place could be just what you're looking for. It has a bustling bar area, attentive servers, and plenty of screens to keep you entertained. For those wanting a spot to enjoy some late-night drinks and socialize, it ticks all the boxes. However, if your main reason for visiting is the food, or if you're looking for a place to enjoy a quality meal with friends, this spot misses the mark. To start, my friend ordered a large bowl of soup, expecting a filling portion. What he received, though, was a bowl no bigger than his hand--hardly enough to satisfy. When he asked about the size, they did eventually replace it, but it was clear that they weren't thrilled to do so, and the exchange came with some attitude. It was disappointing to see that something as simple as serving size and customer service wasn't prioritized. As for my meal, I ordered the spicy meatball Parmesan sandwich and their "adult" macaroni and cheese. The macaroni and cheese was underwhelming and didn't have anything "adult" about it besides the name; it was bland and didn't have any of the rich flavor or unique twists you'd expect from something labeled as a grown-up version of a classic. And then there was the sandwich. Instead of being packed with meatballs, it was deceptively assembled with meatball halves, making it look fuller than it was. To make matters worse, the bread was hard, and overall, the sandwich felt hastily thrown together. I ended up picking out the meatballs and eating them separately, leaving the tough bread on the plate. Even though the meatballs themselves were edible, it wasn't enough to save the meal. To be honest, the only reason we ended up at this place was because it was late at night, and there weren't many other dining options available. If I found myself in the same situation again, I think I'd rather go home hungry than settle for a meal like this. It's clear that their main focus is on the bar experience, not the food. While they seem to have the drinks and entertainment side figured out--the bar was lively, and many patrons seemed to be enjoying their drinks--it's disappointing that the food quality is so far behind. For a restaurant, food should be the primary focus, with everything else enhancing that experience, not overshadowing it. It almost feels like the food is an afterthought here, and it shows in the lackluster flavors, poor presentation, and small portions. I don't drink, so I can't personally speak to the quality of the cocktails or other alcoholic options, but from what I observed, the crowd was happy with their drinks. If you're interested in coming here strictly for the drinks, sports, and the upbeat bar vibe, you might find what you're looking for. But if you're planning on enjoying a good meal or dining with friends, I'd recommend choosing another spot. As of now, I don't plan on returning unless there's a major shift in food quality and customer service. Until then, I can't recommend this place to anyone looking for a satisfying meal. It has potential as a bar and social venue, but when it comes to the food, this restaurant needs a serious revamp.

This was my first time at Twin Peaks, and I have to say, my hostess was incredibly friendly. I totally get the appeal of American food and cheap drinks. Since I'm not a fan of burgers, I went with the fish and chips. While it wasn't a 10/10, I thought it was pretty solid for what Twin Peaks offers. It's definitely a fun spot to hang out with friends!

This place is great for the guys to hang out and watch sports. There are tons of televisions all around. The girls wear very little. The food was edible. The service was excellent.

Your basic food chain restaurant. Very similar to hooters. The food and drinks were decent. Our server was a short girl from Aruba, who did well with the large table. $40 spent but nothing memorable.

The restaurant sits just a stone's throw from the ballpark where the Rocket City Trash Pandas play, so the whole place already has a fun, lively atmosphere before you even sit down. Now given the name "Prohibition," I half expected someone to knock on the door and ask for a secret password like it was 1927. Back in those days, enjoying a drink required secrecy, dim lights, and maybe a jazz band playing in the corner. Today, things are a little easier... though for this non-drinker, my order was simple: water on the rocks, hold the lemon. I prefer my water about 100 proof for maximum flavor. My boss and coworker grabbed seats at the bar while we looked over the menu. We kicked things off with the Pork Belly Burnt Ends and the Pork Bao Buns. Let me tell you, those Pork Belly Burnt Ends were an absolute masterpiece. They came out crisp and seasoned just right with a little spicy kick. Served with raw carrots, homemade pickles, and lettuce wraps to bundle those little jewels together--downright tasty. If food had a Hall of Fame, these would already have a plaque on the wall. The Pork Bao Buns were good as well, but they simply couldn't match the grand slam the Pork Belly Burnt Ends delivered. For my main course, I ordered the Smoked Wangs with the Jala Mango seasoning and a side salad. The wings were delicious--cooked and seasoned to perfection. Every bite was solid. No bootlegging required. Prohibition definitely hit it out of the park today. Between the great food, the great service, and the fun atmosphere near the ballpark, this place is a must-stop for locals or anyone just passing through Madison. Our waitress tried pretty hard to convince us to order dessert, so I'm guessing their sweets are just as flavorful as everything else on the menu. The only problem I had today? I couldn't finish my meal. I was absolutely stuffed. If this had been the 1920s, the only crime committed here would've been leaving food on the plate. Great food. Great service. I'll gladly return--though next time I may need a little more room in the stomach.

Pros: Our server was great and we were seated promptly (it was early on a Saturday). The food was fine. Better half got a chicken caesar and it was...an adequate chicken caesar salad. I got a soup (broccoli and cheddar) and house salad. They were fine. Was this all from Sysco? I'm sure. Was it decent? Yes. The bathrooms were clean enough. Refills of drinks were never an issue. Cons: I hate parking at Bridge Street, particularly if it's just to go eat (we were meeting people who chose the restaurant). Due to the extreme length of the menu, I have a feeling a lot of the entrees are sent to the microwave--yes, I've watched too many Kitchen Nightmares episodes. By the time we left, the "bros" were coming in for cheap beers and college football. I have a feeling the experience you have here is very much dependent on timing.
