The place is in a shopping center, based on the concept I expected it to be your average place for lunch. An it turned out to be so. The wait staff was friendly and greeted us at the door! The menu had a lot to offer had more of a sports bar vibe to it. The friend with me comes regularly and gets the cheeseburger and his wife gets into the wings and his kids enjoy the kids meals as they come with ice cream. Today being my first time I decided to go out of the norm and had a shrimp po'boy. Overall it was good and felt they did well. I went here for lunch with some guys from work after a site. I ordered their Buffalo Chicken Salad and substituted the sauce for their hottest sauce. The lettuce was crispy and the chicken was perfectly cooked. The sauce, Turbo, was one of the better hot sauces I've had. The service was excellent, even though they seemed a little understaffed for the amount of dine in customers. The prices were what you would expect from a wing place. Had reservations for 20 people. I called the day to confirm and remind them and was told they had to cancel me. There was no call or notification, so if I hadn't called I would've never known. Ask for a manager plus called 8 times and the phone would get answered and no one speak. Then they would hang up, so I believe they screened my calls. Absolutely poor business management for sure. They missed out on easily $300+ of business plus all of our future business. It was great since so many places can accommodate 20 people on a Sunday with 3 hours notice. Thanks guys! read more

This location always has great food and great service. We have even taken a large group (20+) of kids in after a sporting event and the service was great. Our waiter worked with us on multiple orders at a large table with kids spread out and everything came out as ordered. Ever since it has become a go to place for us. We were excited to try Jefferson's again after hearing there was a new owner. The restaurant is now clean and bright thanks to new LED lights and the addition of several TVs. We were seated as soon as we walked in and given menus. Several things sounded great, but for us Jefferson's means wings. We ordered a 1/2 order of fried pickles as an appetizer, and 20 wings hot flavor with french fries. The pickles came out quickly and while they were hot and tasty they were sitting in a puddle - and I do mean a puddle - of grease. We moved the pickles to the edges of the basket and put in 4-5 paper towels to absorb the grease so we could enjoy our appetizer. Before we finished the pickles our wings were brought to the table. Everything looked great, but wait - why is there no sauce on the wings? There was hardly any hot sauce at all. It was almost as if someone had dribbled a little on the wings rather than tossing them in the sauce to coat them. We were hungry and did not want to complain so we dug in. I would like to know how Jefferson's keeps wings crispy when they are cold! The wings were room temperature at best, tasty and crispy even without the sauce but we usually have to let them cool a bit before eating. We always order 20 wings so one of us has lunch for the next day. As we are eating I noticed there were 6 wings left on the plate and asked my partner how many he had eaten. I had 4, he had 5, there were 6 on the plate....we were short 5 wings. We brought this to our server's attention and she apologized and a couple of minutes later brought us an additional 5 wings. These too were room temperature and had even less sauce on them than the original order. We had high hopes for our former favorite wing restaurant and the service was attentive but there were too many issues with the food. I'm a wing guy. I love them. I crave them. They are my favorite food. However, nothing bugs me more than when I go some place expecting good wings and they are flavorless. That's not the case at Jeffersons. I would say that they have some of the best wings I have ever had. When I go I get the Turbo Wings and I ask for them extra wet. I prefer to have my wings swimming, because lets be honest, no one likes dry wings. The wings are big and 12 wings is plenty to fill a grown person up. I also love getting the curly fries. The fries and the curly fries are just standard stuff, but they are good fodder to munch on while you are cooling your mouth from the wings. I highly recommend this place. The wings are terrific. Just make sure you go on a Wednesday for the 75 cent wings. read more

Very very average bar food. We got fried pickles as an app and those were good. My daughter and I split a philly and fries. The philly was just frozen foodservice steak and the fries had a sweet taste. My husband got wings and they were very blah. The mild tasted like they had no seasoning on them. The garlic Parmesan had some kind of white sauce on them. I couldn't figure out what it was and it had the consistency of mayonnaise. The oddest part is they serve their wings with tortilla chips. Which to me is an off combination but it's even worse because they give you nothing to dip them in. You can pay $2.00 extra to get fries. The service was very good but we won't be back. read more

Wow. I just wasted 30 minutes of my life that I cant get back. Walked in and wasted greeted at the door so my husband and i sat ourself after waiting a moment there. We sat down at a table and was told by a lady that she would be right with us. She came back in a timely manner to get our drink order and gave us menus. She then brought us our sodas, and that was it. She was taking care of other guest around the restaurant but never came back or even acknowledged we existed. We waited a while then my husband saw her standing behind the bar casually eating crackers and talking to the other server. We left cash on the table to try to cover our drinks and got up and left. 6 of us guys met at Jeffersons last night for a little food and drink to celebrate a 50th birthday. None of us had ever been there before and the birthday boy decided he wanted to try it out. I had never heard of Jeffersons and looked it up prior to see what the Yelpers had to say. Lots of poor ratings and details of unhappy customers. I'm certain under any other circumstances just based on the Yelper reviews that I wouldn't gone under other circumstances. Regardless I went in with an open mind hoping for a surprise and good timing. I got neither. Upon arrival I was really shocked with the lack of beer selections from a Sports bar, especially one that's somewhat new to the area. No High Gravity beers? I think they only had one local brew beer? Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought that's what people go to sports bars for, good beer selections and good bar food. Jeffersons had neither. We decided to sit outside since the regular tabes for six was really tight and not very comfortable inside and were pushed way too close to other tables. We soon discovered that the outdoor furniture is completely ridiculous. I didn't even know they made furniture this cheap. It was very thin plastic and we all looked at each other as soon as we sat down thinking we may all hit the ground. I moved a table together with another to fit everyone and a legs fell off. I lite wind or a nudge would knock over your drinks over on the cheap tables. The server (Tiniqua or something like that)...is obviously very green but nice brings us the world famous Jefferson nachos and wings. The nachos were the quality that you would expect at a elementry or middle school baseball park concession stand. The wings that I had were cooked perfectly but we're very plan. I think she said they were called "double dipped". That must mean double fried, cause they had no sauce or batter. There was no sauce brought with the wings, none on the table, not even any salt & pepper for that matter. (I guess the cheap table thing) The server didn't explain the method of how to best order wings or the way the kitchen preparation until we had them on the table eating them. She did finally bring me some hot sauce as I was nearing the end of my wings. The sauce tasted like Pete's, Bull Sauce or Louisiana hot sauce that was poured out into a cheap plastic disposable container. The wings & nachos are not something that I would ever recommend unless you prefer non-sauced plan wings and very plain nachos. Maybe a place to take old people and small children (very bland). Before we could consume this culinary extravaganza the staff starts racing to close up the place and started turning off lights above our table and hauling the cheap furniture around us inside. I guess paying customers were in there way of closing around 9:30. I suppose the staff wanted to get out of there too early enough to go somewhere fun. And they would want anything to happen to this plastic furniture? We paid and got out of there way. We all left hungry, without plans of ever returning. I had (5) wings and a sampling of nachos someone else ordered that no one wanted, (2) Stella's, (2) Dewars and picked up a check for the birthday boy that had (10) wings and (3) Dewars together that came to $110.00 before tip. The folks that manage Jeffersons really needs to go to places like On Tap or The Ridge and see how a manage a sports bar with good brews, tasty wings and excellent nachos and do a restart before it's too late. read more

Extremely helpful staff and great, relaxed environment. The fried pickles are among the best I've had and the wings are crisply fried (no breading). The Turbo wing sauce is cumulatively volcanic... lip-numbing, sinus-clearing heat. Good flavor, but very hot. The only down side on this visit was the fried foods weren't properly drained and a lot of oil was pooled on the parchment. If I could give this bar zero stars I would. We came on a Friday evening and the place was DEAD. To start we ordered a dozen oysters which took half an hour to arrive at our table (how!?). Once they finally made it to our table the oysters were discolored, NOT ON ICE!!!!! (Literally sitting in a pool of barely below room temp water, and they had a strange smell so we sent them back obviously. After sending back the oysters i had to wait an additional half hour for ten wings. Which at this point I did not even want. So now we have been waiting a full hour. Now I'm asking to speak with management. The manager was completely dismissive and passive aggressive towards us so we left with no food and an hour wasted. Two thumbs way down. First time I've tried Jefferson's even though I have seen them for years and the guy who started it is a fraternity brother. Congrats Webb! It's a shame I waited so long. Started with the jalapeño poppers for appetizer. The dipping sauce was an Asian zing. Not a big fan. Ordered Turbo traditional wings. They were huge and flavor was just right. A friend of my husband's recommended to us. We went Saturday afternoon, and we will not go back. Food was not exceptional...typical bar food. I am allergic to MSG and all its derivatives, of which there are many and most people don't know. We were impressed with their website which routed fresh never frozen and other such mantras. I ordered nachos supreme. I was very disappointed when they arrived. They were accompanied by sour cream on the side and it was a brand I have never heard of. There were several ingredients in the sour cream, one of which was modified food starch, which is a MSG derivative so I couldn't use it. I also noticed some sour cream already on the nachos so I couldn't eat them either. What's wrong with Daisy sour cream? Daisy only has one ingredient--cultured cream. My husband ordered a burger and fries and said the fries were ok but the burger wasn't. We didn't bother to send the food back because we knew we would not be going back and who knows what we would have gotten on its place. Hubby ate his burger even though it wasn't very good. The atmosphere has a sports bar feel with the full bar and multiple large tvs, but it is the kind of place you would still be very comfortable bringing a family. There were multiple children eating with their parents, which did not seem out of place at all. The service at Jeffersons is very good. The atmosphere and the menu looked pretty good too. When it comes down to the food though its awful. We ordered a Jeffersons Burger, Chicken Fingers, Grilled Chicken Fingers and Cheese Sticks. The burger looked fine. The table next to us sent all if there burgers back right before ours came. Now I know why. It was very dry and had an awful taste. You can go to the Hardee's across the street for a better burger. You could tell the chicken fingers were frozen. The grilled chicken fingers looked and tasted like they came out of a lean cuisine meal. And the Cheese Sticks looked frozen like everything else. If you want some good food just go right down the road to Ragtime Cafe. There is nothing great about Jeffersons. I will never be back. read more
