Well, perhaps I shouldn't say this is the SAME place, as clearly it's a different location, however it is in fact the same WTPI, and same exact doctor (tri care is picky about that). What they've done is open a brand new (and very nice I might add), location in the northeast side of El Paso. This location is inside the also brand new McCombs medical plaza, right off McCombs and Gateway N. Pretty smart to be honest - as the NE (well this part of the NE), hosts probably more veterans than any other side of EP. And if there is one thing that is synonymous with veterans, it's disability (and pain) lol. This location makes sense based on the client base. All the things I've said in my review of WTPI still stand true, as again, this is the same staff, same Doc, just a newer, fancier, nicer and much closer (not exaggerating when I say I can walk here from home), location.

I wanted to try something different. Not the typical pain meds/walking boot, and crutches scenario I probably would have been posed with. So, I gave Airrosti a call. I was skeptically optimistic after hearing they could reduce my pain after only 3 visits. Well, I'm here to say that, in my case, that happened. Dr. Kayla Gonzalez tailored a treatment regimen for me and the pain I presented. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to diagnose what was wrong along with the best way to treat it. She also went above and beyond for me. My insurance wouldn't cover my visits so she agreed to work with me on a more affordable price. She truly cares more about her patients recovery than her bottom line. That is something you don't see everyday. Her staff was great as well. Abraham Quijas helped coach me with my recovery exercises. He showed me how to get the correct form and laid out the exact amount of reps/time limits needed. Plus, I was provided with the necessary equipment needed to get the best out of those exercises. At first, going through the workouts was challenging. The pain was off the charts. However, slowly but surely it got easier. That along with the treatments Dr. Gonzalez put me through (also painful) I can honestly say I feel great. When I showed up I was using crutches, but now I am able to walk normally. As they say, no pain no gain. I would absolutely recommend this place first before going through other medical procedures if you are experiencing pain. Person I've had the pleasure to be a patient of. If that's first not say it all, let me explain further. If you ever need anything, even when they're closed on holidays there's always a way to reach him and his great staff each and every one of them to help you with genuine care. When you're in the room with him, or speak to any of his staff, they see you. Not just a patient with social security number, they see you. They hear you out listening to every word. You don't find that with me doctors anymore. Most of them already have their ideas formed before you even utter a word. His bedside manner is exemplary. I just felt like Dr. Becerra was a better fit for me due to his specialties. One of my physicians also referred him to me so that was a plus. His staff got back to me that same afternoon I spoke to my other doctor! They gave me an appointment the next day. That really left a lasting impression for me! That doesn't happen to me quite often. You can tell he really wants to help his clients feel better. He also has good bedside manners. I recently started going to see him and I've already been really pleased. A couple of meds weren't working as much as I liked. He immediately resolved that. His staff got back to me right away...none of this waiting a day or so for answers. I heard back from his staff within 15 or 20 minutes. That's a pretty quick turnaround. Aside from his knowledge, his staff is also helpful and kind. I've enjoyed talking to them in the office and over the phone so far. I feel like I can trust the the doctor and staff. I told Dr. Becerra I wasn't feeling well during my first appointment. After he gave me my prescriptions, he also gave me a shot on my right arm. It didn't help until later that night. I'm glad he was able to give me that shot. It took the pain away and I was able to sleep much better. I plan to continue visiting Dr. Becerra for as long as needed. He has two locations. His other location is on Zaragoza. I'd visit him at either location. I highly recommend him.
