That apparently isnt good enough, I would need to have them also state what procedure/surgery I need, but how would I know that without being evaluated? She said I would need to see another oral surgeon who would actually provide me medical care and tell me what procedure I need before they would see me. So they don't evaluate patients they only want to get the money for the surgeries? When I tried asking clarifying questions about how I would have that information without being seen first the women became very rude and then hung up on me. Clearly not an office I want to work with for medical care.

(Check out the pics). Previously, Dr. Stiles - a third generation dental guy - diagnosed me with facial nerve damage and today, he diagnosed me with a congested salivary gland. So if your dentist recommends you see an oral surgeon, don't think he'll meet you at the door with a scalpel in hand. He may be the diagnostician that your doctor needs to help identify the health concern. I liked that the equipment at Coral Surgery produced sharp images so Dr. Stiles could identify the problem. I love that he took his time to make sure I understood and saw the images in the scan. He's relaxed and calm. Moments before he met with me, I heard him speak to a patient in fluent Spanish (I'm STILL on Duolingo!) and then walk into the waiting area to tell the person that the patient would be out soon. One of his team did the same thing a few minutes later. They really have a sense of courtesy. It is great that he can communicate with us in English or Spanish. The people in the office are bilingual too. It's scary having to go to an oral surgeon. When you see Dr. Stiles you forget to be scared. He's a truly lovely person and his new office and team made me feel comfortable as soon as I walked in. AND, Arun's Indian Kichen is a few doors down from their office (yes, we went to Aruns after!). His dental staff will have your teeth looking like they are brand new again after a cleaning. I recently had a tooth removed and found out several things that were disturbing to me. #1 my insurance doesn't cover any part of an implant. #2 it's a long and expensive process. #3 you have to go to at least two doctors (for the post and then the implant). After being riddled with anxiety over the drilling of the post I found a doctor that was going to put me to sleep for the procedure and charge a lot more money for it. I found out by accident that Dr. Farbman does this procedure as well. After speaking with him about my fear of drilling he talked me through it and told me I wouldn't need to be put out. I later learned he was right. A few weeks later he did the procedure and I was so happy. No pain during and no pain afterwards. A picture perfect post at a reasonable price.
