I do NOT recommend this clinic if you have a complex health history or like to have good communication and proper scheduling needs. I am a previous patient of HHS. I began my care at this clinic working with Lindi, their previous PA. I was very happy to find a functional medicine doctor that took insurance. But I soon found that while they worked as a team, medical support needs to be left to the PA. I was advised to eat food that my file clearly stated I was allergic to. When I called after my second visit to check my results, I was told Lindi was no longer with the clinic. I was shocked and upset. You trust a practitioner with your health and they do not have the common courtesy to tell you in person. Both Lindi and Dr Hansen had the time to tell me in person but chose to not do so. Soon after I began with the clinic, my husband started as well. He went for a follow up, which we had to call and ask for it was not done at the first appt. At his follow up he was in there for roughly 15 minutes. Gave him a run down of treatment plan including a basic multivitamin and vitamin d. Also mentioned a "Sleep Program" which is free on the website. Turns out this is not a program but explanation of why sleep is important. He explained he has extreme fatigue, no issue sleeping at all. And Hansen continued to say this would help. Not one time did he help to treat any of the symptoms and struggles he was having. Coming from the words of my husbands mouth, it was a complete waste of time. At this time of his appt, Lindi was no longer there, and was obvious they were just buying time till they got a new practitioner, when they should have sent their patients to another dr for care. Overall I am so upset with the quality of communication there. They rescheduled appointments for both of us multiple times due to scheduling issues. I posted a review on their Facebook page and it was soon taken down along with all of their reviews. They are hiding something and wanting to keep it from potential new patients. read more

I am very grateful to have Dr.Clayton Hansen as my personal Dr. through out these past years, every time I have had an accident or done something I should not have done like playing soccer with 5th graders and then I missed the ball, took a spill and hurt my hip and leg, Dr Hanson has always taken my pain away on our first session. Always, by my 2nd or 3rd visit I am back on track. YEA! I am going on 74 yrs old and due to his attention to detail and care, I have not been on medications. I know that I am very blessed and very much loved as I continue to work with children in public schools. Without Dr. Hanson and my heavenly father I know that I would not be where I am today. 11/1523 Today I went for my therapy session date by mistake. Yet, Dr. Hanson saw me immediately. I was very grateful for the kindness and support the staff ladies gave me when I showed up on the wrong date. I was tired, unfocused, and a little over worked due to meeting several timelines in my job. During my session, I felt my left arm immediately come alive with feelings and energy. By the time I got home, I was so renewed that I was able to continue working efficiently. My focusing and energy increased so that I decided to call the office ladies and let them know how strong and wonderful I was feeling. I had good strong energy flowing through me and I was back on track. I told the ladies "This old engine is back on track and running fast and sharp. My girlfriend recently was in a car accident that resulted in some serve trauma to her spine. I AM SO THRILLED WE FOUND DR. HANSEN. Dr. Hansen is personal, professional and gives us the time of day every single time we are in the office. We spent the first couple months unhappy with her other docs (pt, chiro, pain management, etc.) after just 1 appointment with Dr. Hansen it was clear this was the doctor for her. Dr. Hansen makes sure we understand the current status and plan of care moving forward every time we sit down with him. It is apparently he genuinely cares for his patients on an individual level. Dr. Hansen has exceeded all of my expectations in spades (and I am in healthcare, I know the majority of providers in San Antonio quite well and know what it means to be a true cut above the masses). Dr. Hansen has taken care of me. He studied my X-rays and properly set a 1to1 appointment with me to explain the situation of both my spine's shape and neck's form. Thankfully my progress in the last 3 months of therapy were positive. I'm really glad I found this place. Dr. Hansen and his staff greets you all the time with such great spirits. I love how the whole staff actually takes time with their patients and get to know their patients. I think it's very generous of Dr. Hansen to take time out of his schedule to do workouts with you every week, go on shopping trips to local grocery stores to give you tips on what's healthy and how to save money, and hold recipe nights which is always fun to learn how healthy food is not always bland =P Have you ever had a doctor spend so much time with you?
