So happy my neighbor highly recommended Levine Family Dental when I moved to the area. It was just in time to fix a tricky dental problem I had putting off for many years that another dentist had created. Dr. Levine showed me the complications involved with the tooth and I was worried because I knew it wouldn't be easy to fix because previous dentists had told me so. Dr. Levine is by far the most professional and generous dentist I've gone to ever. His staff is first rate, considerate, upbeat, encouraging and always smiling. His office is first rate with up to date equipment compared to my experience in previous dental offices as archaic and technologically lacking. I had a broken crown and cavity in the tooth. He and his dental assistant made it painless and they informed me of each process making sure I understood what was happening next. It felt like they were catering to me. To top it off Lucy, who keeps the office flowing and is very efficient all with an infectious smile, brought me in the same day that I broke my crown. Dr. Levine and Dr. Vasquez took over from Glen Urban. I work with Dr. Levine. Over the years he has done excellent work on me. He waits and watches problem areas so that you aren't surprised when the time comes for work. I am especially impressed with his use of technology. He was an early adopter of electronic records. X-rays are placed directly into the record from the imager. He also seems to use the latest in dentistry techniques. My fillings are less obtrusive, feel better and last longer. Finally, I recently had a dental emergency. He and Dr. Vasquez came in on their day off to spend an hour doing some dental reconstruction. This is an update of my original review. I gave 4 stars to this business because Dr. Levine responded to my first review promptly and they have sent me new ledgers to clarify all previous mistakes. Now I do not have further questions. Well, the whole process lasted more than a month. Again I want to say that the quality of dental works in his business is very good, nothing to complaint based on my own experiences. However, their software system needs an update and math skills of related staff need to be improved. That way the business will deserve five star level. My husband and I recently moved to the area and needed to establish ourselves at a local dentist. After doing a little research, we selected Levine Family Dental and could not be more please. The staff are warm, welcoming and polite. The office is clean and comfortable. Our appointments both went incredibly well. My husband hadn't been to the dentist in almost 10 years (yikes!) and was so nervous about the initial appointment, but he couldn't have had a more pleasant experience. As for myself, not only was it one of the better cleanings I've had, but Dr. Levine also bonded two of my front teeth to help close a few gaps, and I have never loved my smile more. As one of the other reviewers mentioned, I was skeptical about how Dr. Levine would size up after going to Dr. Urban for many years. Once I get used to a dentist, I don't like to change! However, Dr. Levine's competence, knowledge and welcoming manner made the transfer easy. I like that Dr. Levine explains what he is going to do, takes time to answer any questions and asks after his patient's comfort as he is working. I also like that the office has all the latest technology for dentistry. I highly recommend Dr. Levine (and I'm a tough grader). He's very knowledgeable about new materials and techniques, and seems to be very skillful at using them. Being an engineer, I like asking him what he's doing, and he's great about explaining what's going on, how it works, etc. He takes great care to ensure my comfort while he's working, and even heavier work is pretty easy to sit through. All the work he has done on my teeth has stood the test of time and use. The hygienists are also excellent, and seem to do a through and efficient job. And they all seem to have the "gentle touch" (those of you that have experienced the lack of it know what I mean). All-in-all, it's a great practice. It'd be hard to do much better! read more
