My daughter was seen February 2024 and was immediately told she needed braces. Xrays were taken…read moreand she had rubber band spacers placed all at the initial consult. We returned a few days later only to find that the provider had placed the spacer on the WRONG SIDE of her mouth. Needless to say, we were not pleased that she had to go through several days of discomfort for nothing. We immediately decided that we would get care elsewhere. The office told us there would be no NO CHARGES for her care. They "pretended" to be sorry for their mistake. Although I was still upset about the mistake, I felt the solution was adequate. For all my other dental visits, my insurance was billed within a few days and I have never waited more than 2 weeks after a dental visit to get a dental claim fully processed. In this case, the office submitted a claim 6 months after the visit and the insurance paid the office over $400 for "consultation" and xrays. I find it shady that the claim was submitted so many months after the visit. It makes me feel like they waited until we forgot about them. My fault I didn't notice this at the time because we had moved on to a different orthodontist (Dr. Schlicher--who is amazing and didn't even feel my daughter needed to have braces right away and has just been monitoring her for the past 2 years WITHOUT CHARGING US OR OUR INSURANCRE COMPANY! Six stars for him) I was recently looking over dental claims and noticed the 2024 ortho charge. I have $3000 lifetime ortho coverage so this office basically took over 10% of that amount for hurting my child. I called the office to discuss this and the basic answer I got was just to dispute the charges with the insurance company. The person I spoke said "of course we would charge for the xrays". REALLY???? You make a mistake that hurts a child and then wait 6 months and charge for xrays that we will never be able to use? And she then says "oh, we can send you a copy of the xray". Thanks lady...I really need xrays that are two years old because my daughter's mouth has not changed for the past 2 years! When I asked her why the claim was submitted 6 months after the visit, she immediately blamed the insurance company. There have been numerous dental claims submitted for every member of my family and yet this is the only incidence of this type of delay. It's been a long time since I've been this upset. Do not go to this place. They just rush to slap braces on everyone. Did I mention Dr. Schlicher has just been monitoring my daughter FOR NO CHARGE since 2024 and he sees her twice a year. Digest that! I only wish there was an option for ZERO STARS!!!!!

Dr. H told me I needed a couple sessions of deep cleaning after my first visit. My husband, who is generally very skeptical of doctors, was worried I was being taken advantage of. Naturally, he booked his own appointment and got his teeth cleaned with LPFD. Three years later, he and I are loyalist that can't imagine going anywhere else for dental care! We're both in love with the care this team provides. Outside of their upkeep with technology, the staff and dentists are very patient, transparent, and listen to your needs. They take time to make their patiences feel heard and comfortable. Since coming here and following their care, my gum health and recession has improved! Something I didn't think was possible. They've squeezed me in their schedules for emergency tooth aches, worked around my chaotic commute, and have even taken time call me for post-procedure check ups. I only found out about the charges after the visit. Like many others, I trusted the positive reviews on Yelp, especially since I had just moved to the area and was looking for a new dentist. Unfortunately, my experience didn't live up to the expectations. Transparency about costs and insurance coverage is the bare minimum I expect from a dental provider. I've been coming to this practice…read moresince this husband and wife team bought the place 20 years ago because I was a patient of the previous dentist. My husband and I have continued with the Levines ever since. What keeps me coming here even though I now live 100 miles away is the fact that Dr. Levine is what I want in a dentist. He is precise in his work and is technically outstanding. He makes you feel comfortable, it's easy to ask questions, and he communicates well so that I can understand. He is respectful and has extensive training and knowledge. He continues to improve the practice by staying current on all dentistry practices. He now makes his own crowns in the office so no need for a temporary. He is able to make adjustments to this crown in-house if necessary to prevent an additional trip into the office. Dr. Levine showed me how the crown is customized and it is pretty amazing! And most importantly, Dr. Levine is gentle and will warn you in advance if you will be feeling anything. The hygienist I see is Darlene and she is accommodating and works hard to keep your pearly whites in excellent condition. I have gone through a few other hygienists here but she has worked out the best for me. She is warm, friendly and I always feel like my teeth are incredibly clean as I leave the office. I love getting my teeth cleaned by Darlene as I feel like I'm getting a reset and clean slate for the next six months. The front desk is responsive and kind too. Everyone here helps to ensure you receive compassionate care and you feel welcomed and at ease. I had some dental work done during this last appointment where I was given a heads up that I needed to be in the office for two hours. During this time I could hear the office staff speak in warm and friendly tones to each other so the atmosphere is calm and professional at all times. You can tell they respect each other and enjoy working together. The practice has also gone through some beautiful transformations since the Levines took over. The interior is aesthetically pleasing with beautiful artwork, furniture, and modern equipment. I recommend Dr. Levine wholeheartedly.

Today was the first time Annie cleaned my teeth. I was always extremely satisfied with Andrew cleaning my teeth so was a little apprehensive about having someone else do it. I was immediately impressed with how kind, gentle, patient, thorough, and thoughtful she was. Dr. Xiao came in afterwards and examined me. As always, she went above and beyond my expectations.
