At every point, they went the extra mile to ensure that I'm comfortable, addressed my concerns, and answered all of my questions. They went above and beyond in making me feel truly valued. The seasoned team at Colesville Dentistry took the time to examine the photos and made reasonable recommendations based on their review. They explained the purpose of each recommendation. No gimmicks. No sales pitch. Everything was reasonably priced. After my 1st visit, I just knew I made the right decision in switching to Colesville Dentistry. I especially enjoyed having a TV screen above the dental chair with beautiful scenes of Tropical islands to look at while they were working. When I lived in Wheaton, which was a lot closer to downtown Silver Spring, I still always wrote/typed Wheaton, MD 20902. I had a dentist when I live in Wheaton that was less than a mile away, and she was good, and it's a hassle finding a new dentist. I moved to Russett in 2020, and I kept going all the way back to Wheaton for my dentist through 2023. My girlfriend recommended her dentist Colesville Dentistry, and she was right! I first arrived here in May 2024, then November 2024, & most recently May 2025. Wow, this dentist is top notch, blows the Wheaton dentist I had out of the water. The staff is friendly, efficiently gets you in. Dr. Chai, other dentists, & technicians have been friendly doing a great job with the cleanings as well as advise on better dental habits. Also, this is a state of the art dental office. When you are lying on the dental chair, there is a TV screen above you with high definition nature scenes which is peaceful when the dentist isn't exactly the most pleasant experience even with Colesville Dentistry being the best case scenario goes as far as the dentist goes. They have great technology with computer modeling of my teeth & more, which the prior dentist I had fell short. Although it's still not super close to my home, still easier than going to Wheaton and worth the drive. Overall, I highly recommend Colesville Dentistry.

I called the office spoke to Roxane and they let me come in as an emergency visit with in 20 minutes of my initial call. Dr. Raoufinia fixed my tooth and sent me on my way in less than one hour. I am so relieved. Thanks for understanding! Tooth aches are no joke. Am glad I had my pain taken care off with in 2 hours of breaking my crown. I've been going to TLC Modern Dentistry for 10 years, and I have to say there are some positives…read moreand some negatives. Dr. Tran is a nice guy, and he definitely doesn't want to cause you any pain. But I'm not sure that all the work he does is necessary. Every time I see him it seems like I need a root canal and a crown. However, I did get a second opinion at one point and the other dentist confirmed what TLC had told me. The staff is also great, and they really commit to their jobs. Unfortunately, it's not all good. One of my biggest complaints is that they never have appointments available. Sometimes I have to wait over a month for an appointment. And when I do go in, there's a lot of waiting involved. I am pretty sure they double book their appointments because after they take me back, I always wait around 20-30 minutes. Another complaint is that they do not tell you what's going on while they're doing it, what you may need to do, what your options are, or what you should do in the future. The only time you know what they're going to do is when they give you the bill. Still, Dr. Tran is a good dentist and the staff is very nice. 6/10

Dr…read more Bronstein is professional, kind, and courteous, and always takes the time to get to know his patients. When I first started using him, I needed a lot of work on my teeth. I'd been to several different dentists, and always felt like I was being shamed into getting all this work done. But I always felt comfortable with Dr. Bronstein, and after several years and many visits, my teeth are in great shape. On top of that, I've noticed on several occasions that Dr. Bronstein tries his best to help less fortunate patients afford the care they need. I'm pretty well-off financially, so I've never needed any assistance in that regards, but it's nice to know that he's willing to help those that do. As other reviewers have said, the office staff can be lacking at times (it depends on who's working the day of your visit, I guess). But I've never witnessed anything as extreme as what other reviewers have. It's no different than what I experience at any other dentist/doctor's office/hospital. Sometimes you catch someone on a bad day, or you get someone who doesn't know what they're doing, or things just happen to get hectic and unorganized. It's no different than the usual customer service experience anywhere else (especially in this area). The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the customer service is average, which is all I expect it to be. But the actual dental experience (which is what I'm there for, ultimately) is outstanding.

I did have an issue with billing, which did create extra stress for me, but ultimately it was handled to my satisfaction. After I went to the front desk at the end, the woman at the front desk (Jennifer) told me that for the adjustment of the mouth guard, I will get billed. I told her that I didn't know that, and it took Dr. Blank like 10 minutes to do. Dr. Blank should've mentioned that it could be extra and to get her to give me more specifics. I said that I'll be angry if I see some big $100+ or even a $40 bill will annoy me. She said she didn't know what it would be, but it shouldn't be very much. In early April, in the mail I got a statement from Delta Dental that it was going to be $172! Then, Dr. Blank's office sent me a bill for $132 giving a $40 discount for the adjustment, but it was still over $100, and I was pissed. On Thursday, 4/12, I called speaking with Jennifer at the front desk. She explained that I was out of network and that Delta Dental Premier was in network. I asked how come I wasn't told that in February when I scheduled. She apologized and said that it was her mistake to not investigate my health plan further. So, I ended up getting charged $40 for the mouth guard adjustment, but then got charged for the teeth cleaning & x-ray. Her advice was to look on the Delta Dental website to see what was in network. I told her that I called, and I figured I would ask if they accept Delta Dental, but she didn't realize that it was not Delta Dental Premier. In the future, I will just look on the website so that it doesn't happen again. She put me on a brief hold and came back saying that I think you will like the resolution we came up with. She said that she spoke with Dr. Blank's wife (I forgot her name, but she was really nice.), we will waive the fees because of the mix up. We will cancel your September appointment and send you a release records form to send us back once you have a new dentist picked out. Overall, Jennifer at the front desk was very nice and took some responsibility for the mix up. And while I was stressed about the bill, I liked how it was handled in the end, and also, Dr. Blank & his wife did a great job with my teeth cleaning & explaining my teeth & jaw to me. I would recommend Dr. Blank's office, but just make sure they are in your specific dental insurance you have.

I read the reviews and there was a supposed promotional discount for cleaning services and exams for $150. I got there in time for my appointment and had my x-rays done. The lady who attended to me acted confident but the x-rays were blurry so it was clear she probably didn't have a hang on the machines. Dr. Chan came and my hopes were high. You see I took the day off so I could give my teeth attention. He explained the x-rays, poked around my mouth as expected but then began to prod with sharp instruments that still has some parts of my gum sore. He gave his prognosis and proceeded to tell me that I don't qualify for regular cleaning but would need deep cleaning. I said , ok...what's the cost and can we go ahead. He then told me he had other patients, that i would come back, went ahead to give me an outrageous quote of almost $3,000. What upset me was that he said since no work would be done on me (Oct 31, 2024) I would only be paying $100 as opposed to the promotional charge of $150 which was to include x-rays and cleaning. I felt ripped off, especially as I drove almost an hour for THIS!!! Why was there no transparency? Don't say you have a promotional discount when you know you will be overcharging for examination/x-rays that could have been done anywhere else!!! I am very displeased, dis-satisfied and I do NOT recommend this practice. ID
