We got the ice cream. There were plenty of flavors to choose from and reasonably priced. Will definitely go back.

Cool candy shop with lots of old-fashioned candy. I had salted caramel ice cream here and it was very good. I didn't ask who makes it, maybe Leopold's, maybe it's homemade? At any rate, it was nice and creamy and tasted fresh. We didn't try the chocolates or the fudge, so I guess we'll have to come back :) read more

I'm posting this publicly because my private feedback to the store was ignored. We stopped into Jekyll Island Sweets one evening while visiting Jekyll Island for the Christmas lights. After finishing a holiday tour in one of the classic motor cars with family, we stayed behind briefly to grab a few sweets before closing. We ordered a small, straightforward purchase, totaling $53 after a $5 tip: * 2 Snowman Nutter Butters * 1 Giant Buckeye * 2 Reindeer Rods * 0.25 lb chocolate fudge (pre-cut square) * 2 Ribbon Candy (3 oz) * 1 Mini Buckeyes bag Despite the small order and the fact that we were polite and efficient, the customer service was shockingly bad. From the start, the employee rolled her eyes when I began ordering. She cut me off and said, "No, just walk over here with me." With every single item, she sighed, huffed, rolled her eyes, and asked "Anything else?" with increasing irritation--as if ordering candy in a candy store was an unreasonable burden. The worst moment came when I asked for one piece of chocolate fudge. Since the fudge was already pre-cut, I didn't know your internal terminology. Instead of simply clarifying, I was met with a sarcastic "One square or what?" Yes--one square. One piece. One item. That shouldn't be a problem. The sweets themselves were very good. Unfortunately, the customer service completely ruined the experience. What's most disappointing is that I already submitted this feedback through your receipt-based survey system and invited management to contact me. No one ever did. That tells me this behavior is either accepted or ignored. I love Jekyll Island and visit often. Sadly, I will never return to this store--not even to stand under the awning to get out of the rain. Great candy doesn't excuse treating paying customers like they're in the way. read more

Delicious Ice Cream! They house make it at their main location on St Simon's. The Georgia Peach Cobbler was fantastic! We actually went twice in 2 days haha. Both girls we met who worked there had great personalities! A nice experience! read more

Isn't this place the cutest?!?! This cute little Candy Cabin (cute name, right?!?!) is a child's delight. They offer just enough sweetness, but it was not overwhelming. The woman working there told us a bit about the island which I appreciated. Now back to the store. I asked about the fudge and chocolates because so many places bring in their fudge but claim it as their own. She let me know that she makes all of the fudge there onsite. She explained all of the flavors and even said that the cookies and cream has real Oreos in it, which I like to hear because I can eat Oreos, but not a lot of fake sandwiches cookies. She was able to tell us the ingredients as well, which someone with food allergies, was super helpful. The Chocolate/Vanilla swirl fudge is what we purchased less than 24 hours ago and it is GONE! She was also honest about which chocolates were made in house like the pralines and peanut butter cups, but the truffles are not due to the complexity to making them. I appreciate the honesty. I wish we had more time on the island because we would visit here daily. read more

Such a cute shop under beautiful live oaks draped in Spanish Moss. Perfect little spot if you want to cool off after walking around the Jekyll Island Club, Turtle Center or riding bicycles. They accept credit cards and don't charge any extra fees :-) The fudge looked good, we all were hot and wanted ice cream. And it was yummy and only $12 for 4 of us, so that's a good Island deal to me. The kid behind the counter was friendly and scooped our fluffy ice cream quickly. read more

Pralines have only a few pecans. Fudge is bland. I would take a longer trip into Brunswick etc.

This cute little sweet shop is located behind the Sans Souci building on the Jekyll Island resort. I ordered a raspberry truffle, amoretto truffle, and the peanut butter chocolate fudge. There was an assortment of truffles and the price was decent ($.75 per truffle). The fudge is purchased by the pound. I got 1/8 of the fudge and my total was under $3. The shop also had ice cream, pralines, turtles, and slushy drinks. I'm glad I found this spot on my last day on the island because I totally would have visited more than once and I definitely don't need the calories lol! I parked in the Sans Souci parking area which was free. I also stayed in this building so I was able to walk to the sweet shop. The clerk at the sweet shop was nice. She even let me sample the fudge as I was torn between the peanut butter chocolate and the mint chocolate fudge. read more

The truffles were delicious! I had the key lime, mint and chocolate, and the white chocolate caramel. The little turtle chocolates were good as well. She told us about the island, which was interesting. read more

Cute little dessert shop located in the historic Jekyll Island Club Resort. They had several types of fudge, truffles, and ice creams. There are also sweet treats like bear claws, pralines, and some candies. I tried the coconut and raspberry truffles. I also had the praline ice cream on a sugar cone. Everything was so good! read more

The worker didn't bother to take her AirPods out. She did not wear gloves while serving ice cream and scraped her arm all over the inside of the bucket while serving ice cream. read more
