Fuse is a great little frozen yogurt shop on Jekyll Island just by the Westin Hotel. I stopped by there a couple times during my week on the island for little treats. My biggest complaint is that sample cups are not available and if you wish to try a flavor, the staff has to physically get it for you. I understand if this is for a small child or teenagers, but as a 45 year-old adult professional woman, that seemed a little bit extreme. But maybe that is just the policy of this frozen yogurt place I don't know. I will say the staff didn't really seem to be loving their job there, I just got really weird vibes, but whatever, I was there for the FroYo. read more

Wanting a sweet treat, we tried a few samples of the frozen yogurt including the raspberry and strawberry flavors. Very artificial tasting and the staff were not the friendliest. They don't seem to go out of their way of making sure the toppings don't mix. We opted on not getting anything. Establishment is small with a few tables to sit at inside. Most of the froyo places where we live have closed so my daughter was excited to see this one in Jekyll. We went to kill time on a rainy afternoon. I haven't had froyo in awhile so there was a bit of sticker shock when our three small cups rang up over $20. It was 72 cents per ounce. I love caramel sea salt and they had that in a gelato. We were here for spring break . Not too many people around the area and most of the people were very nice. This I knew was going to be a pricey desert. Sadly they had no vanilla. They had coconut *yuck* and a mint which my boys do not like and a dark fudge and one outlet was out. The lady behind the counter was very sweet and polite but the place itself needs help. This place is amazing. Great taste and atmosphere. Can't go wrong when picking flavors. Seating was clean and orderly. The one employee who worked here was so nice. Made great small talk and had a excellent attitude. That girl should get a raise. She made me want to come back. The cake batter and the strawberry lemonade flavors are two of my favorite. So we may have stopped here more than once during our visit. This was one of the cleanest yogurt shops I've ever been in. They do not have a lot of flavor selections but what they do have is excellent. The sorbet was fabulous and the Taro yogurt was so good. Their toppings were nice and fresh and the bar was so clean. We came to Jekyll Island for the first time for our 35th anniversary. Our daughter had just married the day before and we were ready to relax. After a great nap we decided we were not hungry but wanted some ice cream. With Covid 19 there were few choices, but our hotel suggested Fuse. We LOVE frozen yogurt and pride ourselves on being pretty picky about the varying qualities of frozen yogurt shops. Fuse gets an A from us. There is not a large number of choices, but they are varied and each of us tried 3 different flavors and loved all of them. Also note that the fruit is extremely fresh and there is an equal number of sweet candies and fruits to choose from. The 2 girls working were friendly and helpful as they had to scoop each topping due to Covid restrictions. It got very busy after we sat down but they reminded calm and courteous to all the patrons. Place was busy and some of the options were out, but that was not a big deal for holiday weekend. Three stars deducted for the poor management and attitude of the young ladies working there near close on the Sunday before Labor Day. They were borderline rude. But we had already served the yogurt, so it seemed wrong to toss it and leave. Perhaps they needed more help, or perhaps they are just not mature to be left managing the business alone on a busy weekend evening. Fuse is definitely delicious! You can sample as many flavors as you want before you grab a large or an extra large bowl. Good news: you are charged by weight, so take only what you want. Bad news: you are charged by weight - just a casual heads up about that. For a family, all those bowls can add up to a pricy excursion. I've always found the service to be good here. I've never really gone to other frozen yogurt places, but this Fuse always seems to have a large quantity of toppings to choose from.
