Response, nothing is wrong, maybe change battery ($370) which was twice the time prior I changed it, and I suggested the fuel pump may be bad. They said no. I went back to get it and paid for the battery and diagnostics and while vehicle was warming up (winter) it died. They came out and took a look at it and said we will need to look at it closer. Needless to say I live in Shakopee so they needed a day, not convenient. They came back and said it needed a new fuel pump. Standard fuel pump labor is 3 hours and they charged me 4.5, checked with two other shops. But that is not all, I had a full tank of gas and when I came back they said I had no gas in the tank (30 g. tank) and they had to put gas in it so it cost me an extra $250 in gas. Terrible place.

They told me the pcm was not working. Their estimate was more than the value of the car. The same day I went to a different mechanic for a a second opinion. I stayed there because I wanted to see. They found out the gas cap was not closing. Then they open the trunk and found the gas valve unplugged. We were all shocked. They put it back in and the car is working fine now. The Vrooom guy told me they left the valve unplugged so it wouldn't cause any further issues. Scam!

Slim's group changed the ECU computer 3 times, and charged me 3 times at $1000 each time, no warranty on the computers that they installed, and I still had the same problem. These guys stripped every fastener in the wheel and rotor assemblies on my vehicle. They over…read moretorqued the wheels down to the point where my 1400 ft-lb electric impact could not take off the overtightened lug nuts. Additionally, the overtightened lug nuts warped my rotors. I had to go back and ask this shop to reinstall the wheels correctly. And finally, I now need an extractor kit just to replace the front rotors since the retainer screws are stripped. thx (i had recently replaced the retainer screws by hand, so I knew they were in good condition before this shop mangled them) And finally, they are way overpriced for this sort of service.
