Ahra was so amazing! Super sweet and really takes into consideration what kind of eyelash look you're going for. I've only done eyelashes once but they were very irritating and I could feel them every time I blinked. I literally don't feel them at all and they have stayed on even after jumping into cenotes! I'm going to go back to Ahra for as long as I am in the Bay area. Hands down the best technician and best quality soft lashes. Firstly, she is very detail oriented and cares about your lashes. She considers the current state of your lashes (thick, thin, sparse, etc) before telling you the length she recommends so your lashes won't break. She has pictures you can look at to show her what you want too. Secondly, she places an eye gel before she puts the tape, which helps minimize irritation from the tape to your eye. Not everyone does this. She also constantly checks in to see if you're doing okay. I was so comfortable that I fell asleep half way though lol. Ahra has a very gentle touch. Lastly, if you want natural looking lashes Ahra is your girl. Too many times have I asked for natural and came out looking like an ABG heading to her next rave hahaha. You get what you pay for lashes glued to my eyelid was just pure insanity I was super upset but refused to cry and ruin my lashes. I guess I'm spoiled in Hawaii but I requested a 12 14 10 open lash map and instead of saying I don't have them she gave me 12's in lieu which I personally think is rude. Got my first ever lash lift here after some extensive Yelp research and decided to take advantage of Ahra's prices. Had a great experience- Ahra gave detailed instructions on parking and how to get to her. She operates out of a room in a skincare clinic in Ktown, and her room was peaceful, clean, and soothing. She makes you sign a waiver due to COVID, takes your temperature, and is very COVID-conscious during the entire process. She knew it was my first experience getting a last lift and talked me through each step of the process, which lasted about 1.5 hours, since I have really stubborn, straight lashes. I loved the results- it has so far lasted me about 3-4 weeks and I will be making another appointment with her soon! read more

I am so satisfied and happy with my new eyelashes done by Ahra!! She knows what length, curl, and color would fits my eye shape the best. I got j+c curl dark brown color and They look exactly what i wanted which is thin and natural :). My eyes are super sensitive so before i got eyelash extension from other places i always had bad reactions ( itch, red swollen eyes). But with Ahra I didn't get those reactions and she is so nice and caring she made sure to keep checking if my eyes were okay. I have really sensitive skin and dry eyes so I was a little nervous starting out. Ahra made me feel very comfortable throughout the whole process and was great at answering all my questions. I really wanted to like this place because I work so close from here. I also liked the price and like Ahra as a person. I also liked how light and delicate the lashes were. But I don't think her technique is that good when it comes to lashes. I tried her several times; and each time, mine kept falling off a week after usage. It was frustrating because I followed her care instructions to a dot and I've had lashes done before at other places (but they are farther away). But hers only last a couple days - compared to other lash places which lasts weeks before one or two falls off. The first time it fell, I went back and she went and fixed it at no price. The second time it fell about another couple days later, she seemed annoyed - and I could see it from her end, because she might think that I'm abusing the system, but on my end, I was frustrated that these lashes were not staying and that I was spending my time in order to get them fixed, but they weren't getting fixed. So she said next time I come back I would have to pay the full price. And not to my surprise, they fell off in chunks after a couple days. So I didn't go back because if she can't fix it three times in a row, none of us would come out happy anyway. Also, when I open my eyes at her place, I felt my eyes burning and my eyes tear up. So I don't think she waits long enough for the glue to dry. read more

I've been getting my lashes done here for two years and I can honestly say that I couldn't think of a better place to get them done.  The lashes last much longer than my friends who use other services and the technician is very friendly and well trained. They have a nice, clean, private room and I never expected getting lashes done to be so relaxing. Love this place. I moved here for an extended internship and was really missing my lashes, as I'd let most of them fall out knowing that I'd have to find a new lash girl here. I'd been getting lashes consistently for almost two years. THIS GIRL IS AN ARTIST. Back home, I'd just gotten the same thing every time - same shape, same curl, same diameter - I didn't know I had had options. I'd always check them upon leaving and think "once I put on makeup, they'll look great. Ahra (?) offered me options and suggestions. She spent quite a bit of time cleaning up what was leftover from my old lash set (sorry and thank you!) and still managed to get a full first set done in an hour and a half. I started to get eyelash extensions in Korea from high-end salons, years before extensions got popular in America, and continued to in Los Angeles' Koreatown, where there are many technicians available. I have extremely sensitive skin and dry eyes, so I am particular about what I put on my face. After a long search, I found Ahra and have gotten my eyelashes done by her for over a year now. Her prices are extremely reasonable for the quality of product. She is very personable and makes me feel comfortable. Ahra's work exceeds my expectations and I always receive tons of compliments about how my extensions look amazing. As time passes, it is natural for eyelashes to fall off, but even so, my extensions last longer than the standard cycle. Some people might not like the missing gaps once lashes fall off, but because Ahra is meticulous at her craftsmanship, my eyes still look great - I don't even see her for refills because mine last that long!
