I have considered microblading for quite some time and finally executed. I recently moved to the Silverlake/Los Feliz area and found Lynn through an internet search. Of course I was nervous and she was exceptionally caring and practical from the initial consultation to our first meeting through the actual procedure, which is a two step process. Everything is true what you read: the brow gets extremely dark and you panic as to what exactly is happening- but just trust the process and in a week or so it all calms down. Lynn is meticulous with her strokes and shading. She understands contours and face shape, and delivers beautiful results. The strokes and color are phenomenal. I have never needed nor been more satisfied with a cosmetic procedure before. Lynn is certified and trained and has great skill and takes enormous pride in her work. My brows were extremely sparse due to over waxing and plucking. After two sessions, Lynn has gifted me with a beautiful set of brows and I am so grateful. She is available and will follow through with you during the entire process. I will continue to return to her going forward as needed. Thank you, Lynn.

I've been going to Lynn for my eyelash extensions for a while now, and I honestly won't go to anyone else. I'm very specific about my lashes -- I only like a natural, classic look, and she gets it right every single time. Never overdone, never heavy, just clean, flattering, and exactly what I ask for. On top of that, her pricing is fair and consistent, which I really appreciate. No surprise charges or weird up-pricing based on how long it's been since your last fill (which I've definitely experienced at other salons). With Lynn, you know what you're paying and you always get quality work. She's professional, detail-oriented, and clearly knows what she's doing. Great service, clean shop. I was greeted my the nail techs and asked to wait for the waxing staff in the next room. The chairs were so comfortable. The area was very clean. I have been coming in to get my lashes done with Lynn for about 4 months and she is phenomenal and reasonable! My lashes always look great and what I love is that they last for weeks! I love that I can text her on a whim and she always manages to squeeze me in. But back to the lashes: they are amazing. Whether i ask her for wispy, long, natural looking or a volume set, they all look great! I came here consistently for such a long time but they keep "selling" the place to new owners. It went from Ruby Nails, to Lilac Nails, to now Glow Nails in an insanely short timeframe. The prices of services provided keeps going up and up and the quality of the work and the customer service is going in a downward spiral to a fiery hell. It's such a shame. I stopped coming here months ago when Lilit and Juli left and I made the HUGE mistake of coming in today for an emergency mani/pedi. They have only one person here and neither one of us speak each other's language. She doesn't speak English and I don't speak Armenian/Russian. I did not receive anything I asked for since no one else is here to help. I asked for my gel x to be removed so that I can get a fresh new gel manicure. They were not removed. I asked for a specific design. I definitely did not receive said design. Not even close. I asked for a specific color from the color book handed to me for my pedicure only for it not to be available, but I suspect the young lady helping me just couldn't find it tbh. Important to mention that during the pedicure I literally had to levitate my legs in the air because the foot stool wasn't staying when i placed the weight of my foot on it, which made it slide back every two seconds. She tried to hold it with her knees and pushed it back constantly so it would stay in place and stop sliding but yeah obviously that didn't work. I'm not kidding when I say my thighs and lower abs are gonna be sore because of it. She kept putting the blue light machine right on the toes, too, which would mess up the polish. She had to start over several times. You read that right. Start over. Several times. I am the most patient person in the world and this will not matter to me a year from now so I did not make an extra effort to get mad and stop her (as if I could magically start speaking Armenian/Russian anyway). This is by far the worst nail salon experience i've ever had. The young lady was so sweet but she has NO business being here by herself with no help and no way to communicate effectively with clients. To her credit, she attempted to use Google translate but none of it made sense. It was getting completely lost in translation. All in all it took 3 hours to finish my services and it was a disaster every second of it. It then took an additional 15 minutes to make my payment because she was on the phone with the owner (I presume) to get help with accepting my form of payment. Some people just don't deserve a business-- a good business person would not allow this to happen. How is this going to be sustainable in client retention? It just feels like a cash grab for these people, no type of passion for the business aside from money and it shows.

My feet have been through it the last couple of years (sports) and I wanted to get serious about caring for them properly, not just getting them painted. Of course, I turned to Yelp for the scoop and zeroed in on Ms. Glen's Therapeutic Manicures & Pedicures. I finally got a chance to go see Ms. Glen and it was everything I wanted and more. It was relaxing (I fell asleep)! It was restorative! My feet felt and looked healthy and cared for. I didn't get polished which is great because I have been wanting to go natural for a while to let my nails breathe and focus on what's really happening with my toe nail health. So may things I loved (in no particular order): - Very communicative from the appointment (via phone) to the confirmation and directions (via text) - Ms. Glen greeted me at the door - The studio smells divine (really sets the tranquil mood) - The studio was intimate (just me - yay) - The space was very clean (I am a stickler for clean) - There was a complimentary water waiting on me - Ms. Glen has developed her own techniques and products which speaks to her dedication and specialization (I love people who are passionate about what they do!) - Every step of the treatment was appreciated! (very detailed, very attentive, think - pampering your feet from the in-depth massage to the parrafin to the soaks to the grooming and much much more) - I got socks! This was such a special and much needed last step that I never knew I needed. It made my feet more comfortable and protected after such a beautiful treatment. She even asked me my size. How's that for customer service! - Now this one may seem trivial but I never had to hold my feet up during the treatment unless I was transitioning from the bowl to a towel. I do not like having to do that while someone attends to the bottom of my feel or heels. Ms. Glen has it worked out where I can truly relax the whole time. I also left with one of Ms. Glen's therapeutic hand and foot oils in Lemon. She makes the oils herself! It smells so good and leaves a refreshing but not overpowering scent. It feels good oiling my feet every night. Like another reviewer said, this is not your run of the mill pedicure shop. This is a therapeutic service that is worth every penny. My goal is to make this a regular treatment. If my feet are healthy, I am healthier! Thanks Ms. Glen for such a wonderful experience! I'll be back. If your feet are in need of TLC, renewal and restoration, Ms. Glen has a carefully curated service that will leave your feet feeling brand new. I had recently purchased a soap that helps with skin discoloration. It hasn't been making any improvement in the uneven skin tone and dark marks on my feet. Turns out I just needed an appointment with Ms. Glen. The exfoliation she provided literally rubbed away 15 years from my feet. My dry scratchy heels were left supple and smooth and the calloused areas were left soft. Had I known what I was in store for I would have taken before and after pictures. She even provided socks for me to leave in, to seal in the moisture. My favorite part hands down was the massage. She kneaded into these tired soles, and I needed that! I paid a little more than the price listed (which she does quote as a base price) but she also spent almost 2x the amount of time listed. My Fiancé noticed the difference in appearance and feel immediately. I intentionally waited until 24 hours+ had passed to write this review, wanting to see if my feet would feel just as nice. THEY DO!! Ms. Glen definitely puts pride in her work and I love how she checked in throughout the process to ensure I was satisfied along the way. I recommend her service to anyone looking to give their feet a more youthful feel and look. And if your feet have severe issues that might keep you from visiting open public salons, her private suite will help you feel comfortable and secure. Right before I left, Ms. Glen threw in a bottle of her therapeutic hand & foot oil once she saw how dry my hands were. I had discussed my upcoming nuptials with her and she wanted to make sure my hands moisturized properly for my big day, even providing a demonstration on proper application. Ms. Glen is a gem!

I trusted the front desk staff to guide me, and was quoted $80 for Gel-X, builder gel removal, and French tip. At my appointment on Friday 7/18, I was unexpectedly charged $110! I was told the card on file couldn't be used for the service--only for late fees or no-shows--which made no sense. If the salon can charge the card for penalties, why not for the actual service being provided? This was especially frustrating because the appointment was a gift for a huge accomplishment of mine, from my mother, so of course I didn't have the physical card with me. On top of that I was also charged extra for nail length without warning, and billed twice for polish: $20 for gel color and $15 for French tip, even though I only received 1 design; french tip. When I asked for clarification, staff just pointed to the online pricing--but I booked in person to avoid that confusion. The experience felt misleading. I intentionally came in person to avoid confusion and relied on the staff to guide me accurately. Unfortunately, that did not happen. I would not recommend this salon to anyone. If you're considering booking here, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere for more transparent and customer-friendly service.

Her technique and skills outweigh the services she provides. I don't have to tell her how to shape my eyebrows because she already knows how to do this, to fit the shape of my face and eyes. Her attentive detail to waxing and tinting is amazing and superb. Her recommendation to tint my eyebrows could not have came soon enough. A few visit ago I had my eyebrows tinted for the first time. They have naturally grayed and thinned over time. Eyebrow pencils are okay to use as a back~up but I wasn't getting the same effect and volume with them. After I had this service with her it not only made me feel confident, it gave a youthful appearance. It also added density, high volume to my eyebrows and overall appearance.
