Ashley from Jem Medspa is amazing!! I am new to the area and was a 'victim of the 90s'. I overplucked my eyebrows for so many years and this past January I started the process of growing them out and left them untouched for 5 months. I was so nervous to let anyone touch my eyebrows especially myself, but knew I was to the point something had to be done. I started doing my research and found Jem Medspa, based on reviews I decided to give it a shot and I am SO happy that I did! From the time I walked in the door, the front desk staff was so friendly and answered all my questions. I had a consultation with Ashley and really didn't know what to expect. However, from the time she greeted me I knew she was just what I needed. She discussed goals for my eyebrows (shape, color, etc.), what I wanted, and for someone who has always been self conscious of them she was completely nonjudgmental and put my mind at ease! She let me decide what was best, but also helped me to decide on the best shape for my face and then just worked her magic. She was just the person I needed and after a wax, tint, and clean up I couldn't believe how much better they look! For anyone else who has overplucked their eyebrows, I am sure you can relate ;) The staff is very friendly here and I would HIGHLY recommend Ashley for all your eyebrow needs. She is great with detail, listens to your opinions and desires, and does a great job shaping eyebrows. I recently went to this medspa and I can't say enough about my first experience. I recently moved to this area from Arizona to be close to my mom who is ill. I have been getting Botox and other things done on a regular basis for years and have gone to the same person, so it made me nervous to try someone new. I googled places in the area and found this place and looked at the injectors experience on their website and this seemed like the place to go. I was absolutely right. It is beautiful and clean and all of the staff I dealt with was friendly and knowledgeable (and I had a lot of questions!) The front desk helped me get a discount I didn't even know I could get - they went out of their way to help me get my points from my old medspa. They went above and beyond and I appreciated that. I had my Botox and a little filler done by Janine and I was really impressed with my results. She made me feel really comfortable and explained things no one ever did before for me - I actually understand the way Botox works now even though I have been getting it for years! They even called me to follow up with me to make sure I was happy and I got a thank you card in the mail! That is customer service! My old place never did stuff like that! I will definitely go back for some other services soon and am sending my sister next week - she has been going somewhere else in the area - but I think she will be way happier here. I love going to Jem Medspa. My first time was the reason I decided to come back to them and continue my journey. During consultation the team welcomes you and luckily my consultation was with Laura Rice. Laura listened to my concerns. She was clear on what could and could not be done. She did not try to upsell or offer services I was not interested in. She explained how each process worked. I felt heard and welcomed. I went to another spa for a consultation and while they were a little cheaper they weren't as friendly and as attentive as the team at Jem Medspa. I will say that if you're nervous or afraid of needles etc. I would definitely recommend Laura Rice. She's very patient and clear on how to minimize pain/bruising with fillers. Since my consultation I've been back for a few sessions for about a year and a half. I'm very happy with my progress. Sammy is always friendly and would remember me by name every time which is always a plus because you feel valued as a repeat customer. Definitely recommend and clearly keep coming back. read more

If I could give more stars I absolutely would! I am hands down the most annoying client ever! Not only is Melissa (one of the owners) more than patient with me but her entire staff is as well! They always make me feel so welcome and comfortable. Extra or as much time as needed is never an issue when I bombard them with my million questions and indecisive decisions. I couldn't ask for a more professional, polite, and skilled group of medical professionals to assist me with my skincare. Melissa and the others have gone above and beyond to explain each procedure I've ever inquired about regardless of me purchasing it or not! This is so appreciated and uncommon! I called to book an appointment, unsure of exactly what I wanted. Kerry took the time to walk me through all the options and told me she would book extra time to make sure I would have time to decide when I got there. When I arrived it was extremely clean and aesthetically pleasing. The environment felt elevated. The front desk staff (there were three of them) were all very friendly as well. The only turn off was that it did appear they were speaking about another male client in a negative way as I was filling out the forms. Angeline was the nurse who assisted me. She was incredible. She took the time to talk through procedures, offered things outside of what I was looking for that might be a better fit and even told me I could do more research if I wasn't ready to commit today. She was not pushy and she took the time to connect and make me feel comfortable! She talked me through the entire procedure as she was doing it and made sure I knew what would happen next. Beyond lucky to have this spa and the staff and owners in Orland Park! The owners went all out. The spa itself is beautiful and so aesthetically pleasing. The staff are friendly and courteous. The owners/operators are courteous, knowledgeable and helpful. They love what they are doing. Helping women (and men) be how they feel on inside... beautiful! They are experts in their fields. When you come here you know you are in good hands! I have been here twice once for Botox treatment and again for a dermal infusion facial treatment. Extremely pleased with my Botox results. Consulted with Melissa about an area that had been bothering me for a while and we decided exactly what was needed to achieve the results I wanted. So happy I decided to do "bite the bullet". First and foremost I have to recognize how beautiful this place is ! Ive been going to Melissa for some years now and she has never disappointed me ! Before making my decision to get my lips injected I did so much research about it but I was still so nervous and didn't want to have buyers remorse. Melissa explained the process to me so clearly that she put me at ease . I immediately saw results and I couldn't be any more ecstatic I got really really nervous because I had some hard spots and unevenness which I new would resolve because that is the process the injections go thru no matter who the injector is.SO DONT BE AFRAID IT WILL SOFTEN! After a week I had exactly what I wanted . I have been going to her for 5 years now and I continue to get compliments daily on how beautiful my lips are . I was referred to Jem Medspa by a friend for lip fillers. As soon as you walk into the office, it is clean and beautiful! The receptionist was very friendly and warm! I then was introduced to my specialist Nicole and right off the back I LOVED her. I explained to her that this was my first time getting lip fillers. She made the entire process smooth as can be and made me so comfortable from the second I walked into the room to the very end of my appointment. I loved that Nicole is so personable and that she didn't rush the process. She took her time with me and really sat down and had a normal conversation with me which made me feel like I was talking to a friend. She's very knowledgeable when it comes to lip injections and I really felt comfortable with the explanations she was giving me. I love how my lips turned out. She did an amazing job. Hi, my name is Kat and I have been seeing Melissa, the owner of Jem Medspa for a year now. I used to go to the top guy in Chicago, but since my sister recommended Mellisa, I thought I would give her a shot for my botox and some other procedures done with PRP. PRP uses your own blood platelets, or know as Platelet-rich plasma and is injected back in you where needed or aging to create healing of the old skin to new skin. I was amazed by the results and the articulate mannerism in which Mellissa knew exactly what to do. She is extremely educated in her field and her prices beat the downtown doctors that charge you an arm and a leg to get anything done. I have been recommending Mellisa and her spa to all my friends, as we are all aging now and fighting it every day to stay healthy and your looking. I had the most amazing, relaxing experience @ JEM Medspa on Monday (4/15) I received a dermal infusion facial from Samantha Paradiso. I discussed my problem areas with her and she explained why the dermal infusion facial was a good fit. From start to finish I was always comfortable. My skin was left glowing and so smooth. Next I moved onto my next appointment with Jeanine. Where I received a consultation on my deep frown line. Jeanine recommend Botox, never having had Botox before she explained the process and what I could expect as the end result. I have been seeing Heather regularly for a diamond glow facial. My results have been outstanding! Heather's background and education is exemplary, so I know I can trust her recommendations for my skincare. Not to mention she's just an amazing human being and I look forward to seeing her and catching up. This winter I'll be doing some laser treatments to address fine lines, wrinkles and discoloration. She tailored the treatments based on my needs, and I paid ahead during a JEM special pricing day, which made the treatments very reasonable. JEM is a beautiful medspa that is actually getting an upgrade (not that it's needed) in a larger space they'll be moving to once construction is completed. I visited JEM Medspa during their open house a few weeks ago and couldn't be happier with the services I received by Jeanine, Melissa, and staff. I have to admit that I came in day one of their open house for Botox, ended up making an appointment the next day for a dermal infusion facial and then back again later the same day for fillers with Melissa. Apparently I couldn't get enough of JEM!! For the past 6 years I have been seeing Jeanine for Botox. She is an incredibly talented injector. I have had other people do my Botox and was never fully satisfied as I would always have to come back for some sort of "tweak". Recently, I met Melissa and I would highly recommend her as well. I recently went to Jem Medspa, after reading all the reviews I felt confident in my choice.  I was greeted by very friendly desk personnel and was given my paperwork to fill out.  I wanted to discuss some fillers as I have recently lost some weight and looking a little older than I'd like.  After meeting with my nurse Jeanine and getting answers to my many, many questions she was ready to get started.  She performed my procedures with minimal discomfort and was extremely patient with me as this was my first time getting any type of this work done to my face.  It was important to me that I did not look "overdone" and she was able to achieve wonderful results.  I am very happy with  my results and will definitely be a returning customer.  Great staff, great care, great results. read more

I visited JEM MedSpa back on 01/15/26. I received a BBL (BroadBand Light) face treatment from Olivia O. This was my first time getting this kind of facial done and Olivia walked me through the whole process. She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I learned a lot of new things about my skin! Immediately after my skin felt so soft. Now, being two weeks since my facial, my skin looks and feels amazing! I went to the Elmhurst location for a much needed facial. The space is located in downtown Elmhurst. Great location. Plenty of parking. This was my first time having any sort of spa treatment since the pandemic. The office is brand new. Beautiful and inviting. The lobby area is spacious so the social distancing felt very natural. I was warmly greeted when I arrived. My facial was wonderful! Kim assessed what I needed and is extremely professional. Very good about explaining products she's using and what she would be doing. Jem is a true gem. Yeah. That sounds corny, but whatever. It's the truth. I love that Jeanine treats you professionally and honestly about how what treatment would be best for you. She will always make you look your best--not overdone or fake. I always look natural after my fillers (better of course) and I wouldn't let anyone else touch my face...other than Ashley-my esthetician... She is the absolute best when it comes to eyelash extensions and facial treatments. I have had many Photo facials by her. She is fast and efficient.
