Let me start by saying this is a predator business and their staff are a bunch of liars. I have reached out to the BBB for resolution however it looks like we will be going to court. I went here for a consultation on 12/17/25 and was told I could get a service that day. I was surprised that they would offer it the same day but there wasn't anyone in there so I said OK. I regret that. For 16 services, my cost was going to be 10K. I already had an active Care Credit account to use so Karen put it in and the service was done. The next day I noticed indentations from a prior surgery I had and reached out to Karen by text. Didn't hear from her until Monday 12/22/25. I explained to her that I needed to cancel because of the indentations that showed up after the treatment and she said my cost would be 5K for one treatment! I ended communication with her and reached out to the corporate office. NO RETURN COMMUNICATION AT ALL! I reached out to the BBB explained my case and now they want to charge 2500. Last time I checked 16÷10 was not 2500. So now I will be reaching out to the Attorney General of Michigan. Their corporate office is in Michigan. They are liars because they said that they had removed the 7500 but as of today the 10K charge is still there on hold for 90 days. I HIGHLY suggest you not do business with this company. This business is not good. Everything is automated - you cannot talk with an actual person. It takes weeks to get in after your groupon and an assessment. The fees for missing an appointment are where they gouge you. They tried to upgrade me for thousands of dollars. luckily i said no to all. very strange and probably out of the country owners. read more

I got the Groupon for the 20 units of Botox. There was absolutely zero difference in my forehead. They try to upsell you on everything. When it doesn't work, they want you to come back in and charge you again. Only after the Botox didn't work did I start researching this company. They have many lawsuits against them---and also are not BBB accredited (check out the hundreds of reviews). Just google the number of consumer complaints. NO EFFECT BOTOX! Practitioner injected double of the amount I usually need. No results anytime once or ever. Went to a different med spa, within 2 weeks I had optimal results. LightRX must be selling expired or poorly stored/ineffective Botox. Wonder why such good price! Not a deal, only waste product being capitalized. read more

I have had a terrible experience with this company LightRX located in Orland Park, IL. I paid for Neo skin which came out to about $3,000 and I'm not able to contact anyone for my last treatment. I can never get access to anyone when I call and I've been asked to text from the start. My texts messages have been neglected for weeks on end now. The employees at this location are extremely rude and disrespectful. After a painful experience with microneedling I told my service provider that it was very painful and she proceeded to ask me why I would continue to get them in a sarcastic and disrespectful manner. She did not offer any kind of solution for my inconvenienc. I do NOT see any difference in my skin after receiving Neoskin treatments. I would not recommend this company to anyone for cosmetic treatments. I should not be reduced down to texting after spending thousands of dollar. read more

I went in for Botox, and purchased 60 units (the most I had ever gotten in the past was 42 units). After 2 weeks, the results were barely noticeable. I went in and they agreed, however wanted me to purchase an additional 30 units. I went back a week later for the additional botox, and after two weeks NOTHING. I went back in to express how disappointed I was. They took pictures and agreed it didn't work, so they said they would contact corporate. It has been two weeks and I have heard nothing. I have called and left several messages, and have gotten no response. I would NOT recommend going here. Im not sure if they dilute their botox more than they should?! When customers are spending hundreds of dollars, I would expect better customer service. read more

I met with the Director back in July. I did the Treat To Complete package later that week: which included the bliss and the weekly treatment. I followed the program strictly: worked out daily, tons of water, body massages, sauna sits, very clean eating, apple cider vinegar, waist trainer. I'm down 6.5in in my waist, 5in in my lower stomach, lost over 5lbs. You really have to take this treatment seriously, it's not liposuction. You have to commit to a healthy, clean, active lifestyle. Very welcoming,and clean clinic. I met with Karen the manager whom is very knowledgeable and personable every visit! I am about half way through with my treatnebt and I'm very pleased with not only the results but the guidance that has been given to me from the staff throughout my transformation. I wish I could give 0 stars. I paid over $5k for services and no results. All they say is to add more services and try to imply that it is the clients fault that there is no results. I exercise daily and drink a gallon of water daily. They told me I had the perfect fat for the services but come to find out that the directors for the clinics have no knowledge about anything medical. They are only there for sales. Most of them do not have any knowledge of the skin either. My last appt there another client was complaining about how they burned her face because they are so dumb they do not know what settings to use for laser hair removal. A waste of money. LIGHT RX ONLY CARES ABOUT MONEY NOT YOU!!! I came in to get a consultation and the woman there was "very" helpful at first & suggested I do the Venus Viva resurfacing treatment for my acne scars and told me there would be no side effects(lies) I went ahead and opened up a credit card & paid in full for the package since there was a sale . However I was still hesitant & after doing much research on this treatment and getting my dermatologist's opinion I was STRONGLY advised against this treatment esp for my medium skin type , I was told there are several side effects to this treatment such as post-inflammatory-hyper-pigmentation which was not disclosed to me at Light Rx. I then called Light Rx to cancel the package I had purchased and Kat was very rude. She asked why I wanted to cancel, even though I don't owe an explanation I explained anyways. Furthermore I wasn't told they were going to do a HARD INQUIRY on my credit report which lowered my score. (I've opened other credit accounts and never has it lowered my credit score and never has there been a hard inquiry on my report) when I addressed this to Kat she was so rude and it seemed as though she was pissed I was cancelling the service. Facial treatments are expensive and serious, employees shouldn't be rude to customers if they decide to not go through with a service. She gave me very vague answers to the questions I had regarding getting my money back. I was told it'd take 60 days to get my money back which seems like a load of bullshit, it shouldn't take that long to process a refund esp if they were so quick to take the money out...Nevertheless i politely thanked her even though she was rude and without saying anything she hung up on my face. So glad I cancelled my service, will definitely be discouraging others from coming here. They care more about making money as opposed to the well-being of their clients. This customer experience needs a NEGATIVE star. I came in today for a laser lipo consultation. The receptionist walked me into a room, asked me the basic questions and immediately asked me to sign three forms and asked for a payment method in order to schedule the first treatment. It seemed like she wasn't too happy about me coming in because I saw the Groupon ad. She couldn't answer a few of my questions due to not knowing how many treatments she would recommend, ect. Everything was extremely rushed. At the end I didn't feel comfortable to book an appointment. I said, I'll call in my payment method another day and thanked her for her time. She looked like she knew she wasn't going to make this sale and rapidly opened the door just enough for a skinny person to walk through (she didn't open the door all the way), she walked out in front of me and rolled her eyes to another coworker and that coworker gave the receptionist a "ehh I'm sorry, waste of time" and wished me a good day. I will highly recommend no one to attend to this customer service. I still would like laser lipo done but I will NOT give them my business. DO NOT GO. You are just a sales bumbe. AND TO REPLY TO THE MANAGER'S REPLY-- No, I have never booked an appointment with you guys, why would you lie??? Just to fool other potential clients. Such a shame. read more

I'm so happy with my treatments so far at LightRX! I developed some troubling dark spots on my face several years ago and tried so many lightening topical treatments (some very expensive), with no luck at all. I found out about IPL and came to LightRX. The office was clean and professional, and Jozette was wonderful!! She was very informative explaining how IPL works, and what to expect during and after each treatment, and how frequently to expect treatments (about every 4-5 weeks, usually 3-4 treatments). She checked in with me throughout the procedure, which did not take long. After the first one I was amazed...some dark spots came to the surface and eventually fell away. The second treatment - WOW...so much of the worst areas came up and I'm so excited to finally have some results. I highly recommend LightRX, the IPL treatments and Jozette is great! read more

The customer service is just absolutely horrible. I went there for chin laser they said they didn't have the tool to do the chin I said okay and left. They called a couple days later and said they could it get so I went in talked to them about the service and they said I had to pay that to get the sale price so I did. I was told they would call me with the chin piece came in well it took two weeks for the piece. I waited patiently and went there that day to be service and they could not get the piece to fit correctly on my chin its like they didn't know what they were doing. Well they told me it will take 25 mins for the service I drop my son off so I had to go get him. I explained to them I had to leave and would return my return took longer than I thought and when I returned they couldn't see me cause they were booked. So I said when could I return now mind you this was a Tuesday and they said they were completely book for the rest of the week and wanted to schedule it out the following Saturday. I was what I waited two week for the piece and you trying tell me you can't get in before another week. I was like please give me my money back. They said it had to come from corporate I was like fine. Two weeks went by no one contacted me so I called and asked for the number to cooperate and I called and left several message they said it could take up to seven days for a returned call well I never got the call from corporate after leaving messages. I was fed up at that point so I contacted my bank and explained the service was never done and they gave me a credit. I never heard back from corporate but who cares I go my money back and I was done with Lightrx they are not worth the time and energy. read more
