Well... I had been coming here every 4 months for years now. I'm sad to say the scheduling is extremely unorganized. And they don't book you by time they book you by price. I had the absolute worst experience with Sofia. i told her I droop easily can do no more than 20 units. I told her this several times. She was talking and talking and talking she did 55 units. She did not listen to me at all. She charged me $650! I went on vacation and could not open my eyelids in the mornings they were so heavy and swollen shut. I went back to her to show her how bad it was and she said "you look great" She also said I never told her I can only do 20 units. She did not offer to help my face OR offer a partial refund. Nothing. She was offended and took no ownership at all. She was very unprofessional. She is much older and stuck in her ways and does not listen to patients. DO NOT GO THERE!!!!! read more

Dr. Sofia is a nice person, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed in my results or lack there of! After spending $2600.00, which was a lot for me, and some pain and discomfort, there was NO difference at all, just swelling and bruising, and it's been 7 months! I was referred to Dr. Sophia's med spa by my friend. I wanted to get a Botox for quite some time now but I wasn't sure about how it works, how much does it cost, is it going to be very noticeable. One thing for sure, I had an exceptional experience from the moment I walked in. This as a great Med Spa. I have been to Dr. Simeakis many times, and I have nothing but good things to say about her and her staff. My mother and many of her friends recommended Dr. Simeakis' Spa to me. As a 22 year-old I don't need a lot of work done, just a few laser treatments, Botox, and facials. The Facials are always amazing and very relaxing. Anna, who always does an awesome job, gives them to me. The Botox is always given by Dr. Simeakis, and she has perfected a painless technique. I get the injections in high perspiration areas. I hardly feel the injections and she works swiftly and safely. I am very happy with the results and the injections have saved me hundreds on dry cleaning bills. The laser treatments are also given by Dr. Simeakis, and they have removed many ghastly acne scars and small broken capillaries around my nose. These treatments have boosted my confidence, and have brought out the beautiful healthy skin that was below the acne surface. I love the way my skin looks and feels now. Yes, this spa is pricey, but it is worth it. This spa is very clean and safe, and the front desk is always helpful and knowledgeable about the different treatments provided. read more

I went to see Dr. Sophia search consultation on Botox and filler. This was going to be my 3rd consult because the last two doctors different John to my face. Being a full-time doctor, Dr. Sophia was able to explain how the Botox works, what it actually does to the different muscles. She also explained what happens to your face as you get older and which products would be best. She even gave me a comparison of the products. Dr. Sophia was extremely thorough was it was also very interesting. So much more than I got from any other spa. read more

I had terrible acne as a teenager, which I "treated" by going to the tanning salon because it lessened the breakouts. I had scars all over my face, which then turned into hyperpigmentation and hypopigmentation from the tanning by the time I was in my thirties. I don't remember how I found Dr. Sophie's place, but she has been a lifesaver! Over ten years ago, I had laser resurfacing treatments and started using the Obagi products sold at the spa. No more discolorations, much smaller pores, no more scars! You would never even know that I once suffered with spots on every inch of my face. In fact, I get quite a few compliments on my skin now (at 50)--THANKS TO DR. SOPHIE!! I am currently seeing Dr. Sophie for laser removal of a very poor decision--a tattoo on my lips. I asked for a natural color, similar to my own lips, just a little darker. She put coral on me!! I told her I didn't like it; her solution was to apply purple, since purple is the opposite of orange on the color wheel, her reasoning was that it would cancel out. Well, I ended up looking gothic!! I then went to another woman to try to get that remedied. She scarred me quite badly from digging too deep and went outside my lipline. Ugh!! I then went to another woman who decided to just "even out" the places where the last woman went outside the lines. Needless to say, my lips were atrocious and clown like. I have had five Co2 laser treatments with Dr. Sophie and I am finally recognizing my own face again. We still have a few more to go to get all of the color out. Then we will move on to some steroid injections to get rid of the scars from that second technician. I tell you all of this not for sympathy, but to convey Dr. Sophie's ability and patience to help with just about any cosmetic situation that a person could possibly have. And that brings me to my most important point: Dr. Sophie is such a caring, kind soul. She really cares about the people that come to see her. Over the years, I have watched her interact with her staff and clients and she consistently goes above and beyond for every single person that walks through her doors. Dr. Sophie's right hand, Nicole, is lovely in her own right as well. Nicole runs the office and also goes the extra mile for clients. I needed product and couldn't get to the spa and Nicole was kind enough to mail it to me. You just don't see these kinds of personal touches at every spa. I always feel great after going to Sofia's. Simply put, Sophie is the only person I trust with my skin. I am fortunate enough to have people think I'm 10-15 years younger than I am (I'll be 32 soon and laugh when people think I'm 17 LoL), and it's because of the preventative care Sophie introduced me to years ago. Although you can easily have life changing results if you haven't taken great care of your skin over the years (ask to see before and after pictures!!), it's really about prevention and maintenance. Not sure why the previous reviewer was embarrassed unless she was lying? I"ve been a patient for years at Dr Sophie's and I've never seen anyone come out of there unhappy with the way they look! She is one of the most professional, caring and gifted physician's I've ever encountered and this is not my first rodeo! She is a real physician with ER experience, not like some of these Spa's that have nurses and esthetician's doing a doctors job. I find it very hard to believe the previous reviewer had that much ARTEFILL done unless she had her whole body done? Or maybe her expectations in her own mind were different. I have been to many med-spas in Chicago and the work Dr.Simeakis does is amazing. She is an artist. I am a 54 year old women and people think I am in my early 40's. The best thing about it she makes sure that it looks natural, not fake. With any injections she warns her patients that there might be bruising or swelling. Dr.Sophie also tells you up front what everything costs so you know exactly what will happen. There are no suprises. I have had artefill, botox and laser treatments and I would not let anyone else touch my face! The facials are also amazing.
