I called and was told that my previously purchased sub Pump was under a three-year warranty so I would not have to pay for a new sub pump just labor cost. Someone came out and told my husband the cost would be $450 to replace the sub pump and then suggested he buy a better sub pump with the labor would be $750. My husband requested I only want the sub pump I purchased with the warranty. I do not need the labor. The plumber then left refusing to give us our sub pump and said that's not how we do business. IT WAS NOT DOCUMENTED that it's only under warranty if their plumber replaces it. I've called and inquired of the sub pump we purchased and they told me they would get back to me and have never gotten back to me. They are in fact avoiding me Getting a Lawyer by the way!

I Called them this morning to inspect the septic issue for the red light and alarm being on. I…read morewas greeted with a female that sounded like she just woke up. No intro "Hi, thank you for calling Lehman...." or anything that would determine that I've reached a business or anything. I continued with my initial problem, and was advised that they had someone in the area which wouldnt be long before they could arrive. Then received a text message 1 hour later, proving another 1 hour 15 minute arrival time. No call, No Show. I then made contact with female again, advising of no show no call, and she would call me back. Gave her another full hour to provide me with a status and was sent to voicemail. Voicemail stated they would return my call promptly within 15 minutes and I was instead sent a text saying the same tech from earlier was just now enroute. Then I found other various reviews online also having the same communication issues that I am experiencing. Time is of the essence, and not calling nor showing up for an appointment is further waste of time. I would certainly NEVER refer anyone to Lehman Drain, nor would I recommend anyone even bother calling them for any type of service. Over promise way under deliver.

Quite honestly, one of the worst companies I've had to work with…read more We had issues in our home with our sewerline - when we flushed the toilet, water would come up through the bathtub. We had family who live further away camera the line and determined our old clay-tile sewer line was impacted with soil and roots and broken, and would need a complete fix. We had Rooterman out in mid March to look at the problem. They originally snaked it, and said they would have to come back for a hydro jet. The hydro jet was scheduled for the end of the next week. The plumber showed up 6 hours late. They got busy with emergencies - which I understand, and would have been fine with, but no one ever called or texted or emailed me to let me know. A quick and simple communication would have made all the difference. In addition, when he showed up, the tank trailer they use for the hydro jet was empty, so they had to fill up using my water. Due to the fittings of my pipes they couldn't successfully hydro jet, and would need to do it from the roof, and would need to come back with another plumber on a different day. A week later they come back to get on the roof and hydrojet. That day, they also snaked from the basement drain. However, I wasn't told they were doing this, and they disconnected my utility sink in order to do so, got sewage all over my dehumidifer, and never cleaned up or reattached my sink. Then they asked me for contractor bags to put their equipment in. Ultimately all this trip did was completely fill our stacks with water, which later caused a sewage backup in our basement - an issue I had never had in the 9 years of owning the home. A week later another employee came out to give us an estimate to replace the line. He said he would need to contact the city about fill requirements, and would get back to us the next day. I did not hear from him or anyone else the next day. I called and left messages the rest of the week, and never had a call returned. At this point, my fiance and I are just trying to get our utility sink repaired, because the fittings won't seal on the sink anylonger. We aren't able to due our laundry because the utility sink where the washer drains into has been disconnected for over a month. We had a plumber out on Saturday May 2, who said the fittings would need to be replaced, and we would be contacted Monday, May 4. We never heard from anyone. We called and were told they would call us back. That didn't happen. I called Tuesday, May 5, and was told they could have someone out the next Monday, probably. I said that we really need someone sooner, as it was RooterMan who disconnected our utility sink during a job and never reconnected it, and we need to be able to do laundry. They said they could check with a manager and call me back. I asked to speak with a manager, and I was told a manager would call me. I asked would it be that same day, and I was told yes. I never recieved a call. All I want is for RooterMan to come back with the ~$20 worth of parts to fix my utility sink that they disconnected over a month ago. I can't imagine this would take more than 30 minutes. And yet, I've been consistently given the run-around, told we would be called back, and consistently ghosted. Tl;dr - If you want a job done poorly, uncompleted, have your materials used, and then have them ghost you, this is the company to go with.

Called on a Sunday, thinking I would just leave a message for a Monday call back, but their weekend answering service quickly passed on the message and I had a call back from Jim within 20 minutes confirming the information had been received and they would call the next morning to confirm their arrival time. Monday morning Jim was onsite within an hour or so from the time the office called me. He was so efficient, knowledgeable and friendly. He had fixed both issues within about 30 minutes. Fast forward to Wednesday, I realized that our 1st floor tub drain was now moving slow as a result of Monday's work. Again, Jim was back at the house within a couple of hours of my phone call. He again very efficiently fixed the issue, did so with a smile and there was no additional charge for the second visit. Adding Charlie's Drain to my speed dial!

This was extremely frustrating because I contacted a professional company expecting them to properly assess the situation before performing work. As a customer dealing with an already stressful situation involving water and flooding in my home, I expected to be treated respectfully, have my concerns taken seriously, and receive a clear explanation of what work was actually necessary before a service was performed. I am very dissatisfied with both the customer service I received and the way the issue was handled.
