I've been admiring my sissy's tooth gem for months now, so for my birthday she took me to see Jen and treated me to my own. My sissy also has gorgeous lashes - turns out Jen is responsible for those too. When we arrived, Jen came out to greet us. She has great style and a warm, friendly personality. Her studio is impeccably clean and very quaint. Everything was sanitized and Jen made sure I felt comfortable. She explained every step of the process and asked if I had any questions. She said that the tooth gem should last for a year if not longer and told me that if it happened to come off to come back and she would put it back on. She took great care to make sure the gem was aligned perfectly and then checked it several times to make sure there were no sharp edges. She also made sure I was happy with it. In addition to tooth gems and lash extensions, Jen also does teeth whitening. She's very skilled and knowledgeable, takes pride in her work, and does an amazing job! Let me start by saying this was my very first time getting eyelash extensions & I am NOT disappointed. I've been weary to do extensions on my eyes for a long time now even though I wear strip lashes almost daily. But after a few weeks of gazing & being envious of my girl friends lashes (done by JBN) I decided to go for it and am so happy I did! The procedure itself lasted about 2 hours and was so comfortable that I almost dozed off a few time. Even though this may seem like a long time, I've read reviews that warn you to stay away from salons that do them quick since they're probably taking short cuts and not applying the lashes that suit your eye shape. Jen was very thorough on how she'd be applying the extensions and also how to take care of them afterwards. My eyes never felt any discomfort or pain during the entire process, nor after.
