If you're looking for a place to do your lashes, STOP NOW! Lina is seriously the sweetest!!!! She makes you feel comfortable and really listens to your preferences, which is SO important in any type of services. A lot of females I've come across who are in the cosmetics/beauty industry often come off snobby and judgmental.... but Lina is the opposite. I have very few, short Asian/Filipino lashes but Lina has worked her magic and made them look full and voluminous! I went for the Mega Volume since I have such little lashes and they turned out exactly the way I wanted... so fluffy and light! Lastly, she is very gentle with her hands and does not rush. Five stars for Lina because she is as good as it gets. I have finally, finally, FINALLY I found a lash technician who provides great customer experience, is so precise, communicates well, and overall is so great at what she does. Lina now works in Woodland Hills, which is super convenient for me. I have had some seriously awful experiences with lash technicians in the past. I once had to wait 1.5 hours for a scheduled appointment and one time a lash technician used scissors to pry my eyelid open (see previous review). This appointment was such a breeze compared to the others, and the result is phenomenal. I found Lina on Instagram (check her out at @mmplashes). Her instagram is flawless too! I loved her work and texted her immediately to set up a time. She worked with my previous lash job and fixed my lashes. She has a magical touch. Her prices are reasonable too. I've found some other lash places that are good but charge WAAAAY too much. I got the cashmere classic lashes so my total fill was $60 + $10 for an outside fill. Totally reasonable! As for the place, she is located in the back of Carnation Nails salon. Because of the location, it's not the nicest private salon, but I didn't mind at all. One other suggestion I'd make is the addition of a leg pillow. If I had to lie there for longer, my back might have gotten a little irritated. Honestly, I can't complain much though because for the work she did and the price I paid, I could have laid on the floor and been happy. Overall, I'm definitely going to go back. Consistency is key though. I'm very eager to see what happens in the future. I'm sure that Lina will do just as great of a job. I have no doubt! TL;DR: - Recommend? OH YEAH!! - Service? Incredible! - Parking? One of the only downsides is parking. There is a private free lot but it's a super tiny one shared by multiple businesses. We played with different lash shapes, thickness and curls until we found a combination that I liked. I've gone to several other people in the past few years and have experienced some good and some ok lashes, but I continue to go back to Lina because she does mine the best. I've been going to Lina for a almost a year &I I love the job she does. I typically get the normal lash (not mink). When I get my full set it can last me usually around 2.5 -3.5 weeks until I get a fill. Mind you of course it would probably be advised to go back at 2 weeks but she does a great job. Lina herself is really nice, usually when I get there it takes about an hour for the service to be completed. The whole time we talk and catch up. Her work area is very clean & comfortable. Totally recommend Lina to everyone. Every time someone asks me where I get my lashes done I send them her way. I mean I live in Burbank and drive to the VALLEY for lashes, so that should say something. read more

This review is in response to Sepi F. She was the client before my appointment. I waited outside for my appointment time then Lina let me in when she was ready for me but Sepi was still in the room taking her time to pay Lina. She eventually paid and left and Lina started my treatment. About 7-10 minutes later Sepi interrupted my appointment by not even knocking and barged in with complaints. She was already upset saying 2 lashes fell off and her bottom lashes in this one area was catching her top lashes. Lina stopped her service with me to look at the area and couldnt see what Sepi was trying to show her and asked her to wait a few days to let the lashes settle. If it was still a problem that she would fix it. That wasn't acceptable to Sepi. So Lina suggested that if she could call her after my appointment so that they could talk/look again after my appointment time. That was unacceptable to Sepi. Sepi started pretty immediately shouting that she wanted Lina to "fix it right now or give me my money back!" She demanded. Lina then reminded her of her refund policy. Sepi became more upset. Now my eyes have been prepped and lina had already started lashing me. No one feels comfortable when someone is yelling and your eyes are closed. I asked her to please leave my appointment. That she was be inconsiderate and that lina offered her many solutions. Lina at this point had also asked her to leave the premisses. She refused to leave and started yelling more that Lina should do more for her. We both asked her repeatedly to stop yelling as really there was no need for it. She started saying rude comments to lina like she was a lair and up charged her. That her lashes look like trash and she wanted her money back or that Lina could just rip them out, she didnt care. Meanwhile weve both asked to her calm down, to if she could wait till after my appointment time. Nothing was going to make her happy she wanted something done right now. Mind you the whole time shes been yelling for the past 10-15minutes not once has her bottom lash caught the top. She also kept pushing her lashes back with her fingers which we all know that if you keep touching your lashes like that they wont cure and they will fall out!! We both told her not to do that to her lashes. I asked her to respect my time and wait outside and she refused. She wouldnt even let Lina say anything but kepting yelling at Lina to do something. She was being a complete bully and i can not stand for that. I then told Sepi that she was being an asshole and needed to leave my appointment. She kept saying it was still her time because she was unhappy. That she was going to get a refund from her credit card company and write a bad review. I told Sepi not to worry because i would write one clarifying what really happened. Seriously there was no pleasing Sepi, she is an entitled, rude, inconsiderate, bullying asshole. I feel bad for any service provider that has to deal with her. I seriously think she just didnt have the money to pay for a luxury service. Sepi's energy was bad from the time i walked into the room while she figured out how she was going pay. I felt so bad for Lina she did all that she could with the situation at hand, Sepi, refused to leave, refused to come back, refused to not shout, refused to wait outside, refused any solutions and then complained that no solution was offered. Unfortunately, sometimes theres no pleasing some people. I have been seeing Lina for almost a year now. Shes always on time, kind, courteous and professional. It's been a struggle for me to find the right person do my lashes, and Lina is awesome. She's quick, efficient and knows what looks good and what will fit your face. I've done two different looks - a classic/natural and more dramatic (depends on my mood), and both I loved. You can tell that she cares about making you look good vs. just slapping on some extensions. I've had experiences with other people who use bad glue and yank on your lashes, but Lina is so gentle. Lina has been my lash technician for close to four years now. I usually get the natural set, but recently tried the more volumized lash and I went close to three weeks until I got a fill and it still looked amazing. Although, it's recommended to go every two weeks to keep your lashes fresh and clean. The only downfall to her location is parking, since the entire plaza shares only a minimal amount of spots it can get frustrating when there isn't parking, but her quality of work makes up for it. Also, keep in mind Lina is consistently busy with the high volume of clients she brings in - so when you make an appointment make sure to be on time or it creates a ripple effect in her schedule.
