Elio is master craftsman! We had a bag that some good friends gave us and one of the handles broke. He was so pleasant and friendly to deal with. When I walked in I asked him to be honest and let me know if he could repair and if it was worth fixing ! He was honest and a jokesters saying, "if I didn't return he could sell it for a good price". He stated the work would be completed the next day. He did an amazing job he reinforced each handle and reinforced the handles that were not damaged. Looking at the bag now you can't tell which one was broken. The price to repair was reasonable. I couldn't have gotten a new bag for the price he charged. I would recommend him and the business to anyone that needs leather repair. A true craftsman! read more

Very pleased with my recent experience at Elio's. I brought in a like new pair of Valentino shoes where a small strap detached from the shoe. He carefully looked them over and discussed the repair which was surprisingly more complicated than I realized. The man (Elio?) said that because he had to undo part of a seam to reattach the strap, and warned wouldn't be able to perfectly match the original thread. I trusted him anyway because he had such great reviews, and he had my shoe ready for pick up the next day. When I picked up the shoes, they were absolutely perfect! If you are inspecting with a magnifying glass up close you can kind of see a minute difference in thread color, but I guarantee that no one besides me and Elio will notice. In the end it was only $12 for a repair that saved a $1400 pair of shoes. I can't speak highly enough about this place. read more
