I still remember my first class with Mahanraj Singh. He welcomed me in the studio with the warmest smile that made me feel welcomed. I knew right then that this was where I belonged. Fast forward to 2020 and I just completed their Guru is You 200 Hour Kundalini Teacher Training!! It was an experience of a lifetime! The training taught me more than I ever could have imagined; more than I could have asked for. The best parts - I healed a part of me that I didn't know needed healing and I found my tribe, The Saches!!! If you're looking for a fun, friendly, and safe kundalini yoga studio, look no further! This studio offers both Heated and Non-heated yoga classes for different types. I have taken many…read moreyoga classes including studios that do entirely one or the other. I like how the schedule is set up online to preview which class will be offered that week/month. I took a Non-heated Gentle Flow class with Kelley. It was for yogis of all levels. She utilized yoga blocks and showed different various of the pose/movement depending on which level you are feeling. I liked that she showed the poses and also verbalized the movements aloud. I never felt left behind in the class. The gentle flow was relaxing and challenging. It focuses on balance (so important for all ages!) and movement for strength and flexibility. I found it to be an amazing class for sports recovery and strength training. I lift weights and often feel like my muscles are tight. This class helped with giving me relaxation as well as energy boost for the day. I recommend coming to OSide Power Yoga and trying out a class of your choosing. The first class was free.

Try to find a spot that offers natural shade from trees or consider wearing a baseball cap or wide-brimmed hat that doesn't restrict movement. ​The instructor has a naturally soft voice, which made it difficult to hear cues from the back of the group. I often had to rely on following the person in front of me. If hearing the cues is important to you, make sure to set up your mat closer to the instructor. ​The session involves laying down on grass that was quite wet, and since it's a public space, you must consider hygiene (i.e., local dogs). Bring an extra, thick beach towel or a water-resistant mat, even if the instructor provides one. Comfort and peace of mind are worth the extra carry! ​Public Noise: Since this is held in a public area, be aware that you might have other beachgoers or campers nearby.
