I've taken hot yoga classes before through Core Power, but I've never sweat like this in my LIFE. I was drenched, my clothes soaked through, it was quite hilarious actually. I could see sweat coming through individual pores all over my body. I think I took 8 different classes with 8 different teachers and each flow was nice! There are clearly lots of regulars that attend classes. Aerial Yoga isn't heated, and it was by far my favorite class. Maybe it was the novelty of it since I had never tried Aerial Yoga before, but nonetheless, I felt like a kid and was radiating a smile the entire time. Gayle was lovely. She even took some pictures of me in poses to share with my friends and family. I ended up having a private class since no one else showed up (yay me!!!). Parking available in the shopping center. Bathrooms & showers available inside. Filtered water available too- not cold, but you don't really care after you just sweated your entire body out. The staff & teachers were kind. Some made efforts to share modifications while others let people do their own thing. Some offered to do hands on adjustments (with consent), others just taught and gave praise.

I like how the schedule is set up online to preview which class will be offered that week/month. I took a Non-heated Gentle Flow class with Kelley. It was for yogis of all levels. She utilized yoga blocks and showed different various of the pose/movement depending on which level you are feeling. I liked that she showed the poses and also verbalized the movements aloud. I never felt left behind in the class. The gentle flow was relaxing and challenging. It focuses on balance (so important for all ages!) and movement for strength and flexibility. I found it to be an amazing class for sports recovery and strength training. I lift weights and often feel like my muscles are tight. This class helped with giving me relaxation as well as energy boost for the day. I recommend coming to OSide Power Yoga and trying out a class of your choosing. The first class was free.

Joining this community completely changed the way I see fitness. Being surrounded by such strong, inspiring women motivated me to show up, wake up early, and actually feel excited to try. One of my favorite things is the variety of classes. There really is something for everyone, from Latin Sculpt to Barre to Bounce to Mat Pilates and Yoga Strong. Every day I can switch it up depending on how I'm feeling, and that honestly makes me even more excited to go. I've now completed almost 400 classes, and I'm so proud of how far I've come. I feel stronger, healthier, and more confident, and I've also met some truly amazing people along the way. What I love most is that this became more than just a workout class, it became a moment in my day where I could take care of myself and genuinely feel happy while moving my body. I'm moving away this summer, and leaving is bittersweet because this place has meant so much to me. I can honestly say it's so much more than a fitness center, it's a real community.
