I got a speeding ticket while driving to work in the nearby county and Jennifer and her team handled my case with no problems. I am younger with less driving experience (just under about 5 years) and was quite concerned if I would be able to get the ticket reduced as I was significantly above the lower speeding threshold which made it a misdemeanor level offense. However, Jennifer and her team were able to reduce my case to a nonmoving violation, preventing me any loss of points towards my license or insurance. This was all done without any hassle for me which was really nice. AIl I did was fill out the online from their website detailing my personal citation information, made my payment right after, then immediately got an email confirmation back. My one quibble was their lack of communication about the status of my case. My case was continued without any notification to me about the change in status. When I reached out they were quick to respond, but it would've been nice if they were more pro-active. I also accidentally didn't submit my payment properly and almost missed the court date because of it. My fault, but no one reached out to me to let me know there was a problem. I was unhappy with my case result mainly because of the unprofessionalism, I agreed with this firm to try to resolve my case with a prayer of judgment but instead it plea me out with a worse scenario of careless and reckless driving without asking me if I wanted to take that course of action all in the name of preventing my license from being suspended. You should of asked me and I would of told you to let the court have the license, because it would of been cheaper to have them reinstated than what I am paying the insurance company over the course of three years. I am from New York and hired Jennifer Law out of 25+ different advertisings by lawyers received in the mail prior to me returning home from a speeding ticket received while travelling in North Carolina the end of 2018. The trail date was early January 2019 and since from New York I needed someone to represent me and be present. I paid the max amount that office charged in order to handle it from going back and forth. That was the last time I have heard from anyone in this office. I don't know what happened, what the fine was, or confirmation that it was resolved. I have tried to contact them with emails and numerus phone calls and messages. Worst Lawyer I have even been involved with. Original offence, speeding ticket, 15 over in a 65mph zone in 2015. I was told that I needed to pay upfront for court costs and fees and no points would go on my license or insurance. I paid in excess of $300 initially (for court costs). Lawyer postponed case for almost a year. Then sent me a bill for over $300 in court costs, again (2016). I spoke with them on the phone, only to get the run around and belittled for "misunderstanding". Now, two years later (2017), insurance goes up $100/mo. because 4 points added to license from the speeding ticket, which I was told was NOT GOING TO HAPPEN! Never once, in 3 years, have I ever called and been able to get someone on the phone. I always have to wait for someone to call me back, if they ever do call me back. read more

I got a speeding ticket going back home leaving from college, which is a 3 hour drive. So it was in some random county that I was passing by. I got the mail with the lawyers numbers and info and what not and decided to try this one out. The lawyer was able to reduce my ticket to improper equipment which would cause no points to be added to my license, and I'm thankful for that. However, the office isn't really that well with keeping their clients updated. If I wanted information, I had to contact them first and it had to be my email. If you tried calling, the wrong would just ring and ring. Even when I left a voicemail, I got no call back. I'm the type of person who likes to be kept updated along the way, especially for legal matters in which I'm paying. 4 stars only because they emailed back fairly quickly and my ticket was reduced to improper equipment. It would have been 5 if they answered the phone and would've contacted me first with updates. read more

So, I was ticketed for speeding (exceeding 55 in a 45) and knew that this meant I was going to have to hire an attorney to handle this. I am so glad I called Jennifer Allen's law firm. They were courteous and prompt. They took all of my information and assured me that they would handle the matter for me. A few weeks later, I received notice that my speeding ticket had been reduced to an equipment violation and no points went on my license. If I could give Jennifer Allen 0 stars I would. I hired Jennifer to represent me following a car accident in 2015. Jennifer did not appear at my court date and told me everything dealing with my case had been handled. I was in the hospital dealing with injuries at the time. Over a year later I had my license taken away because I had a failure to appear in court on my record. I went to the DMV to immediately reinstate my license which cost me over $100, because I needed my license to go to work. When I went to Jennifer's office the next day to see what the problem was, turns out Jennifer had just never showed up to represent me in court. She lied and claimed it was a "clerical issue" and said she was waiting for a "judge on her good side" to be present in court to fix the issue. Gabbi her secretary told me that Jennifer could refund me the money from the DMV (since it was entirely her fault). Jennifer then tells us that I should have waited until she fixed it in court to reinstate my license. Obviously this was not an option for me since I had to return to work. Fast forward another year and we have been to her office several times to see what the problem is. Every time we go to the office, Jennifer hides and refuses to speak to us. I last went two weeks ago and Jennifer again refused to come and speak with us despite being there. She sent another lawyer out to speak with us and within a week they were supposed to have both called me to update me, and email me proof. It's been two weeks, no phone call, no email, no refund. I moved to Atlanta so I can not go to the office myself. So I called today and Gabbi their receptionist, told me that the lawyer I spoke to two weeks ago has since taken care of the FTA and got a screenshot that he's allegedly going to send me, but that they refuse to refund the money that I had to use to reinstate my license because Jennifer had told me to wait to do that. They JUST fixed their two year mistake (I guess because I have yet to receive proof) and expected me to wait those two years to get my license back over THEIR negligence. They have been nothing but apathetic, rude, and unprofessional and Jennifer Allen can expect a formal complaint to the bar for making my life so difficult these past two years. I had an unprofessional experience with them where I was CC'd to an internal email which was from one of the staff calling me 'high maintenance and attached to her for some reason" where as I simply requested to speak with her on the phone. She also told her assist to lie to me that she was out of town if I called. I don't believe that is a nice way to treat your clients especially when it comes to representing them in a legal matter no matter how large or small.
