I went into this orthodontist appointment very apprehensive . I didn't know if I needed treatment…read moreor not. The office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. One of the staff members took panoramic X-rays and photos. I was really surprised when the Dr said that my bite was very good and that I didn't need treatment. I was amazed that this orthodontist would not recommend braces and treatment and turn down the money that they could collect. The assistant said "we would never treat you unless you truly needed it" I am very impressed with the honesty and I will refer this office to others.

Consistent from first to the very last day. I lost my bracelet a couple of weeks ago and Ruth went above and beyond to find it, insistently helpful. So genuine and kind. That's not easy to come by these days. I was thinking back of when I first came to this office and how Dr Nguyen pointed out how much my front teeth protruded. I've always known of course but never heard it said out loud by someone else. It was one of those things that I was self conscience about growing up. My teeth. My insecure smile. And not too long ago, he showed me some photos that were taken before he started my treatment and I must say... I definitely have more confidence when I smile and he gave that to me. I was suppose to return after giving birth, but I lost track of time. I returned today and Rebecca did my cleaning and explained every single step! The dentist himself was a pleasure to deal with as always and walked me through the game plan. Last but not least, the receptionist broke down my bill and gave various payment options. I'm closing on a house so I needed to be mindful of spending and they were terrific about respecting and working with my situation. I don't care for going to the dentist period, but when I do have to go this is the ONLY one I will go to!! I love them here!!

The staff here are nice and friendly, and Dr. Davis is a professional who knows what she's doing. The waiting can go up to 1+ hour, though. That's probably the only downside I've experienced. Over the years I've been here, they have gotten faster, and I don't have to wait as long. Overall great experience, though! Thank you for my great teeth and smile :) If you're unsure about anything with your teeth, it's always good to get a second opinion. I did that and another ortho told me my teeth were fine and in good shape under Dr. Davis' guidance.

The issue lyes in the urgency to get a new pair, after they broke it took weeks for availability to just scan my teeth and it took at least 10 phone-calls to schedule an appt because of pushing mine back. Ultimately, shifting my teeth, once I attended said appointment they told me they lost or deleted my original scan and had to re-scan my now shifted teeth. Disappointed in the fact they throw away something so vital so now the new retainers dont move my shifted teeth. Try anywhere else but this office.

Last week they called to reschedule our afternoon appointment because the doctor had an emergency. I never received a confirmation text or email with the new time. When I contact them to confirm, it's for 10 am today. We need afternoon appointments since she is in school and that is always communicated. I advised I need to reschedule and the next appointment is for November 6th. She doesn't have all of her braces on and there's no way proper treatment can go 2 months with no visits. They have too many patients and continue to book appointments and get new business without the ability to service all patients. They get you locked into a contract and then the drama begins. After a disappointing experience with a different local orthodontist that not only worsened his teeth but also caused extreme migraines with the uncomfortable metal wear, finding Dr. Russell was a blessing. I haven't been to a dentist's office this money hungry ever. In addition, although part of the staff appears to be African American, they exercise covert racist practices. They allow non-black patients courtesies that they do not afford people of color. I have experienced this racist behavior first hand by Tori and Kimmy. Tori actually refused to accept my insurance and suggested that she would have to put in a "dummy" claim to my insurance company to verify that I have coverage. This is an insult that implies that because I am black, I am somehow untrustworthy. However, what it all boils down to is that, they try to encourage desperate patients to pay $1000's of dollars out of pocket as opposed to accepting your insurance. DO NOT go to this dentist unless you enjoy being preyed upon and like unnecessarily paying thousands of dollars out of pocket.

Dr. Cardenas takes pride in his patients smiles and genuinely cares about the longevity of their perfectly straight teeth. Well, it's a problem. When you voice your opinion about not being able to get evening appointment they are very nonchalant. Telling you "we have families to get home to just like you ". I'm already in a contract with them so I will finish out since I have no other service complaint. However, my son needs braces and unless they adjust their hours of operation, I will not use them for his braces.
