I went into this orthodontist appointment very apprehensive . I didn't know if I needed treatment or not. The office was very clean and the staff was very friendly. One of the staff members took panoramic X-rays and photos. I was really surprised when the Dr said that my bite was very good and that I didn't need treatment. I was amazed that this orthodontist would not recommend braces and treatment and turn down the money that they could collect. The assistant said "we would never treat you unless you truly needed it" I am very impressed with the honesty and I will refer this office to others. read more

Hi! Koch ortho has been my favorite dental experience as an adult. I've been for braces for about 16 months and every visit is pleasant! I was able to get braces right before my wedding and they made sure that it looked great on my special day! My teeth don't hurt from the movements and they make sure that you're comfortable each time! I would recommend the office to anyone looking for orthodontic care! Oh, as a 31 year old woman with braces, I love that they offer the clear brackets! That was the best part! read more

Personally I feel like everything started going downhill when Dr.Koch became less involved. He always strived for patient satisfaction and with him being more in the background, I have definitely noticed that in patient care. The only good thing left about this place is Ashley. I was placed back into treatment because my permanent retainer kept coming off due to improper installation, and it was causing my teeth to become lax and shift. Dr. Koch gave me some trays and I was happy with my top teeth 100%, but the bottom still needed to be fixed because they put me in Invisalign but didn't take off my permanent retainer on the bottom so those teeth didn't shift how they were supposed too. I was told that my top teeth would remain the same and only my bottom teeth would be shifting. That was not the case. They shifted my top teeth as well. So the new Orthodontist who fills in for Dr. Koch ordered me a new set of Invisalign. Keep in mind I said I wanted my top teeth to match how it was when Dr.Koch did it. 2 months later it still isn't what I asked for and now they want me to come out of pocket for something that was 100% preventable. If you come here I would suggest only seeing Dr.Koch personally, and if you have a good orthodontist assistant request them every time so you won't end up in my situation. Unsatisfied. read more

I previously wrote a review right after my spark aligners were complete, but I was never satisfied. At first, we were on the right track until my second set of aligners caused my teeth to overlap slightly. It was due to my second set of retainers in that set. At this point, the orthodontist recommended that I wear the same tray until my next set arrived. The problem was that this was changing my bite and was causing pain. Pretty much an overbite. Jumping ahead to my last day because I went from a 6-month process to almost a year. When I had my final appointment, they were removing the buttons which was done poorly. I went to pick up my final retainers, and the other orthodontist corrected that issue. The problem now is with my bite. It still doesn't seem right. I'm now probably 4-5 months post aligners. I mentioned it and was told we were trying to follow your smile. It didn't make sense because now my bite is way over what it was. It doesn't seem natural. It makes my mouth look sad if that makes sense. The bite is way over as opposed to my original bite. I don't know what to do now, but I'm not 100% satisfied. Hopefully they see this and try to help. read more

They start off nice but once I paid my money to start services, things started to decline. With each appointment, wait times exceed 30 minutes. Last week, I was scheduled for an 11AM appointment but wasn't called back until 11:43AM. The office wasn't even busy. I wish I had done my due diligence prior to signing a contract with this office. read more

I'm honestly perplexed at all the high ratings for this office. Our 2nd daughter is in braces with them and the service has honestly TREMENDOUSLY gone downhill. One suggestion is to please check around because Koch's standard metal braces are significantly overpriced. But the pricing pays for all of the pens, coffee, mugs, magnets and other branding they provide. My issue is the level of service. Appointments are scheduled very far out which extends the time your child will be in braces. They take on far too many clients and they can't accommodate them. Things are AMAZING once you're here for a consult but once you're banded, that level of service goes down the drain. Don't be duped. Look elsewhere. read more

First time visit was truly amazing and I was welcomed by everyone. The office is really nice with a modern design. The friendly faces all around will make anyone feel comfortable to be there. Everything was done pretty quickly. I can't remember sitting down more than five minutes before I was called back to finish my visit. I was able to leave knowing that if I ever need anything that I can just reach out and this was also my second time having to get braces so thank you very much for making the process easy! read more

I cannot say enough positive things about the visit, the staff, and the office overall. Taking a 6 year old to the Ortho can be quite intimidating, but we walked in the door to a chalkboard sign that welcomed each patient by name which any kid will get a kick out off. From there we had train tables, chalk boards and video games for the kids and coffee/ tea options for mom. There was not a single member of the staff who was not smiling from ear to ear and saying hi to any child who passed. I didn't feel rushed through the process, each person took their time to answer questions (both mine and my son's) with patience and genuine care. Somehow a trip to the Orthodontist was fun for all of us -- who would have thought that possible?! Awesome experience...truly. read more

We have paid in full, and now near the end, Koch has become extremely inflexible about appointments. You might think after so many years they might be more accommodating. A final braces removal option for us is not available until May. Koch insists that our son miss more school to accommodate their scheduling. Ridiculous. Visited Koch Orthodontist in the recommendation of a friend. Fun and friendly staff (celebrated Halloween early and we saw great costumes), and took an tour of the entire office. Enjoyed hearing the gong and singing when someone got their braces off. Dr. Koch suggested getting different braces than what was previously recommended to us, which would allow us to NOT use an expander (thanks goodness). Booked our appointment, looking forward to working with this office. ***** Update, my daughter got her braces on yesterday. Dr. Koch and his assistant Robin were awesome! Very friendly and efficient, and answered a lot of our questions- my daughter is the first in our family to get braces. I was also impressed with a follow-up call later that night by Dr. Koch himself. It was personal too, mentioning things we had spoken about. Robin even gave us her phone number and told us to call/text if we had any questions. I definitely did NOT feel like just a number, but rather that the staff cared for us. read more

I have mixed feelings about this office. I decided to go for a consult based off of the high reviews. I received calls from their office staff and even the doc himself ahead of my visit to see if I had any questions or concerns - great start. When I arrived the staff was very friendly and my x-rays were taken quickly. The doubt crept in when I sat down to go over the financials. I expressed interest in both Invisalign and metal braces, but I was hesitant about the cost of Invisalign. I was quickly reassured that Invisalign isn't necessarily more expensive, which made me feel more comfortable. When I was given the quote, however, the cost for both braces and Invisalign were exactly the same price (over $6k)!! While I expected that price range for Invisalign, I was surprised to see braces that high. Needless to say, I went for a 2nd and 3rd opinion at other offices. While Invisalign was similar in cost, braces were SIGNIFICANTLY less at both of the other offices. This made me feel like Koch jacked up the cost of the braces just so I would go with Invisalign. Also, the other docs were more informative - they not only gave me a recommended course of treatment but they did an oral exam (doc did not perform an oral exam) before recommending treatment and explained the current state of my teeth and broke down why I have the issues I have so I got a better understanding of how treatment will correct the issue. Every doctor is different, so I'm not too fussed about that part, but I definitely had an issue with them quoting me the same price for metal braces as Invisalign. I know everyone's mouth is different, but that is clearly not the norm. I'd recommending getting different opinions before making a decision. read more

I can't say enough great things about Dr. Koch and the staff at Koch Orthodontics. I am an absolute dental wimp who finally got fed up with crooked teeth and took the plunge for braces as an adult. From the very start of my experience with Dr. Koch was amazing. The staff was all very pleasant and the doctor himself was extremely personable. Dr. Koch is very detailed orientated and you can see that he is truly passionate about his work. My case was not exactly what you would call easy, but he assured me he would do his best. From my initial consultation to my first adjustment, I have never felt pressured or uncomfortable. When one if my appliances came off one evening, I emailed them and they promptly called me the following morning to fix it the same day. For my scheduled appointments, I've never had to wait to be seen. As a 40 years old patient, I was anxious and nervous about getting braces. But Dr. Koch and Jessica calmed my nerves and gave me confidence that the end result will be with it. Wendy and Robin were gentle on my teeth and made my visits comfortable. We have been with Dr Koch's office since my daughter had her braces 7 years ago and had such a great experience that it was a no brainier when it came time for Cameron's braces. The professionalism and patience of everyone in the office from insurance billing changes to frustrations with kids following instructions made the entire journey a total team effort! Not only did I get an appointment in a timely manner, but I also was able to complete my new patient forms online! A technology forward Orthodontist is a must and assisted me in fully understanding Dr. Koch's plan for my teeth. His team was excited for me and completely transparent; which is rare to find. My friend referred me and I'm so glad she did! The staff is kind, friendly, and professional. My child feels comfortable going to the office so that is a major plus. The office is clean and inviting. I had reservations about wearing braces as an adult, but Dr. Koch put me at ease because he had worn them as an adult as well. Dr. Koch was impressive from the first phone call to his office. I made appointments with three orthodontists and Dr. Koch was the only one who met with my child and me to explain treatment options on the first visit. Shortly after the consultation I made the decision to have braces put on by Dr. Koch. The entire staff was friendly and pleasant. He has had his braces since August and has had several appointments. Each time we have been to the office they were running on time with little to no waiting. The assistants walk out with your patient and explain what they have done during the visit, explain what will be done at the next visit, and send you home with instructions ( i.e. take Advil for pain, soft food, milkshakes, etc.). I had a recommendation for Dr. Koch from a friend and I am happy they mentioned his name. I currently have two younger children who have seen Dr. Koch and they are under his "watch" plan. They go in every 6 months or so to track any issues they may have. Definitely a top notch office! A+ read more
