My experience with physicals here proves these are almost worthless; they are cursory and superficial. Yet, this is what all of us can now expect from local clinics without doctors with advanced training. Yet, this is a small town fortunate to have any kind of clinic. I went in days before my appointment missed my appointment. Stephanie Dr Crownovers RN saw me. The next time they spoke she told him how I wasn't acting right, my skin color was not good, I was glassy eyed. He said called him and get him in here. That busy people would take time out of their day to be concerned about someone that most practices would consider just another patient amazes me. The story gets better, I went in and Dr Crownover did blood tests in house. Who has a lab in their Practice TV Medicine does. In a short time He told me to go to a certain place because they work with my insurance better and cost less. He was truly concerned about me from my health to finances. About 30 minutes later getting a CT scan. Dr Crownover himself calls me and tells me that someone needs to take me to the hospital. At the hospital I am told that I may not survive. I had a mess in my liver that was over 30cm in diameter. It had filled my body with ammonia I was in trouble. The hospital did a good job of helping me get my health turned around. I was sent home after the hospital had told me that their home care manager had set up everything and I was good to go home and people would be calling and setting up taking care of my home care needs. About a week later and no one has called I have no idea who to call. My wife called and Spoke with Michaela and Stephanie. They have stepped in and taken such good care of me. I have no words to say thank you big enough. Other than to say you have saved my life.

They put me on heart monitor for only 4 days and told me I can just go on weight loss shot.. urgent care was also very disrespectful they actually asked me like five times if I was pregnant I kept saying no. They also wouldn't take my insurance even though my insurance called them two times and they messed up my billing by putting all my appointments as emergency room visits.. I chose a new primary dr with st alphonsus and with in just two weeks They diagnosed me with pcos and pots. NOTE TO SELF it isnt always about weight and if I hadn't gone to new dr idk where I'd be right now especially with my heart issues... if you have pcos or pots I wouldn't go to them they said them selfs to me they don't know how to treat it. On a side note my husband step dad went there for while trying to figure out why his health was declining so fast. They ran test couldn't figure it out and lied said he died to alzheimer's... which isn't what happened his family will never know why or what happened all because the dr wouldn't listen but to lie on paper about that..

We saw Dr. Roy - and since strep was negative and due to other symptoms, it was said he has Mono. The doctor wrote a note for my son to miss two weeks of school, but when my son asked if he could still go to basketball if he felt up to it - the doctor told him yes! Go support his team! What?! That is crazy to me - especially since he wrote the opposite on the chart notes. My son continued to get worse - typical Mono symptoms. I called in Friday morning to see if the doctor may be able to prescribe steroids (this can help with extremely sore and swollen throat) and was told I would get a call from the doctor. At 1:30pm I called back fearing that the pharmacy would close and he would have to suffer the weekend. The lady on the phone at 1:30 asked a few more questions and stated that the doctor may be able to get him the steroids, or a mouth rinse that could help the symptoms, and that the primary physician on staff would be calling me soon. I waited all day - no call. Now I'm back at a different Urgent care in Star - and when I called Valor this morning - the lady said the doctor never planned to call- that I would have needed to bring my son back in yesterday. I would have done that if the person I spoke with told me that!! They do not have the patients best interest, cannot give accurate information, and should not be in business if they cannot give patients the correct information. Drive over the hill to get better care.

I had the normal response...prescriptions.. but nothing that would heal me, alleviate my pain or identify what is causing the issues. I had all the tests; colonoscopy, endoscopy, CT Scan, and when those were done, they were too. nothing was solved. Cynthia Culp is the most knowledgeable and caring professional I have ever been to. She ordered tests my GI rolled his eyes at. They gave her a whole person picture of everything affecting me. Drs. send you to a specialist and they only look at their tiny specialty in my experience, and don't see the interaction of other issues at play. I can't even give her and Madison in her office who is equally as wonderful and helpful enough stars to demonstrate how helpful they have been and how grateful I am that they care enough to get to the root cause of my problems. yes, functional medicine is expensive but some insurances do pay for it. Bite the bullet and do it for your quality of life or find insurance that will pay.

Dr was able to handle multiple issues during our single visit. Prompt service but did not feel like our care was being rushed. Clinic is very clean and warm.
