She brings the perfect balance of creativity, patience, kindness, and love of her craft, all while maintaining complete professionalism and being firm when necessary to keep everyone on time. Jennifer and Luke are amazing to work with; they made us feel so comfortable from the start of our engagement shoot through the end of our wedding. We had an initial meeting over happy hour to get to know each other and for her to learn our story. She was always so patient and supportive during our wedding planning process, even with rebooking the whole event twice due to COVID and an unexpected rainstorm on the wedding day. I cannot emphasize enough how much of a stress relief it was to have Jennifer guiding us, our families, and our bridal party through the wedding day because we had complete trust in her expertise and skill. She was like an additional bridesmaid at times; running back to the bridal suite, bustling my gown to avoid puddles, fixing my hair in the wind. Luke also brings extra creativity to the pair; one minute he's next to you, and the next you look up and somehow he's climbed a tree to get a great shot. He was the one who encouraged us to walk out onto the jetty to get some of the most spectacular photos I have ever seen. Jennifer's photos are truly a work of art and encompassed everything we had hoped for to remember our wedding day. She listens to you, follows your style, and makes sure to capture all of the highlights of the day. We got a wide variety of beautiful pictures including the bridal party, first look, more formal family portraits, candids throughout the evening, and many photos of our guests. As with most weddings, the day went by in a flash and I am so thankful I have these amazing photos to remember it by. Once my husband and I decided that Palm Desert was where we were having our wedding, the photographer search was on. We came across 3 people that we wanted to meet with. One of which was this lovely lady, Jennifer Yount. Out of the 3 of them, Jennifer was not only the first to respond, but also the only one willing to meet with us that upcoming weekend since we happened to be driving out to look at venues. From the moment we met with her, there was an instant connection and it seemed as though we had all been friends forever. After our meeting, my now husband and I got in the car, looked at each other, and both agreed that our search was over--Jennifer Yount was our wedding photographer. Because we booked with her the same day we met her, we were able to get an engagement session with her and her partner, Luke. The engagement shoot was at Crystal Cove and the surrounding areas of Newport Beach. We all had an absolute blast and the photographs were stunning! The best part about the engagement shoot however, was getting to know Jennifer and Luke. We all meshed so well with one another and felt completely comfortable with them (which is extremely crucial since it WILL determine how your pictures come out). About 8 months later, Jennifer and Luke arrived at our venue 3 and a half hours before the start of the ceremony to start taking pictures (which we discussed a week prior when she created our "day of timeline"). Everything flowed so wonderfully the entire night and there is not a doubt in my mind that these pictures will turn out even more beautiful than our engagement photos. All in all, what really impressed us with Jennifer is how she carries herself. She is extremely humble, but knows her stuff like the back of her hand! Both her and Luke are very easy to work with and are extremely talented in their art. Jennifer and her partner Luke are very professional and accomodating. I live in the Los Angeles area and they drove all the way down here to take my engagement photos. It's important you find a photographer you like because you sure spend a lot of time with them! I loved my engagement session and wedding photos. She takes a lot of candid photos which I prefer but to be honest if I wanted something else I am sure she would have said yes. You will not be disappointed with the quality of your albums either. Choosing a photographer for your wedding can be a bit stressful, but once my now husband and I Skyped with Jennifer and Luke many months before our wedding, we knew we had made a fantastic decision.
