This past weekend we used this company to cater an important family event, we had family that flew in from all over.. First off the grill was not clean it look likes the ones that are used on the street. Second the tacos were so dry the only thing that makes them passable is the okay salsa they have. Third the rice was okay I've honestly tasted way better and the beans were not good, the flavoring was..... I am not sure if they were spoiled but they did not taste good. Last the cook who showed up was so weird he would talk so fast, rush and was sweating tremendously... To the point we offer him iced water every 10 mins... I don't even want to think of what was falling on our food. In the beginning when we were talking to this company the two different guys we spoke to said there service was going to be great we would not have to worry but I am so disappointed I let them cater the most important event of my family this was horrible. These guys say they are very professional but not at all. All said and done I do not recommend and will not use them again. I would say go to your local taco shack and get food from them. Never again will we use them. Very disappointed client, lied and DECEIVED. For the amount of money we paid for these tacos were not FANTASTIC. Not so long ago I was invited to a family party in celebration of my 4 year old cousin where Jennios on Site taco bars happened to be catering. First off the caters were on point very professional on their set up and their work. Their grill was set up in minutes and was up and going, the cater Hector was also fast pace at getting the cooking going. I'm very close detailed when in comes to people who handle my food, I keep an eye on the cleanness and neatness of the cooks. However Hector was also on point with the sanitary side of cooking, gloves were worn at all times and changed often. The food was prepared in front of me, all meat was cooked on site, more over their salsas were home made taste and let me warn you the Red was HoT. So now to the more important part the tacos, the tacos tasted great, the Asada, apastor, and chicken were delicious, The Al' pastor was my favorite with the pineapple and onion and perfect spice marination. The Add-ons were also tasty specially the rice which happens to be my favorite, it tasted homemade fresh. I looked and looked for a taco caterer that could go all the way to Joshua Tree to cater my wedding. After searching and searching, and getting many sky rocket quotes a miracle happened and I found Jennios. Minutes after I sent my first email requesting a quote, I received a response with the information and an invitation to a taco tasting. My (now) husband and I went and were very pleased with the professional, friendly service and delicious taste of the tacos, so we booked them. Our wedding was just last weekend. Because of how professional they were at the tasting, I was not a bit concerned about them being late, even though our wedding took place in a remote area 2 hours from LA. They got there a couple of hours early to prep, were totally friendly, clean, professional and the tacos were ready exactly at the time we asked them to have them ready. We hired Jennios to cook at my father-in-law's celebration of life. When I originally called and made our reservation I was told they would arrive around 1:00(with the intention of eating at 3:00)because it would take a couple of hours to set up and prepare the food for our number of guests. The day of, we called a little after 1:00 and they said they were 25 minutes away. At 1:45 I got a call from them saying they couldn't find our address on GPS(we had spelled it out for them two times prior to this). They didn't arrive till 2:00, the same time we had 150 guests arriving. Because they ran late our guests had to wait for the food to be ready, and he didn't have time to make the quesadillas which were included in our package that we paid for. On top of it all, the woman who was helping started talking on speaker phone while my aunts were up speaking about my late father-in-law. My friend had to ask her to stop. With all this, I still thanked them for cooking and for their time but I think they dropped the ball on this one. read more

I recently attended a graduation party where Jennios Onsite Taco Catering catered the event. Since i arrived early I was able to see the set up and preparation of the grill,condiment station and the cooking of the food. I also was able to see the interaction of the owner Kevin and the host of the party. I was very impressed with the professionalism and efficiency of the staff. During the preparation of the food I couldn't help but be teased by the pleasant aromas coming from the grill. Once the food was ready and served. i requested 3 tacos. One of each chicken, asada, and al pastor. The asada was definitely my favorite. So much so I had a couple more. I also was served beans and rice and that was very tasty as well. Everything was delicious! At the end of the event I couldn't help but share my thoughts with the owner. My fiancé and I recently hired Jennio's to cater our event for 35 people. We had experienced their amazing service and delicious food at a prior event that our friends had used them and definitely wanted to utilize them for our own party. Ordering and scheduling the event was a breeze. Raudel was our cook and server and he was a pleasure! The food was just as outstanding as we had recalled from our prior experience. We had three meats, vegetables, quesadillas, chips and guacamole...all delish!! We had more than enough food (ordered for 30-35 people) and lots of leftovers to share the following day. We will definitely have them back for future events. Highly recommended! Best part for me was that I was able to spend my time enjoying our guest and didn't have to worry about cooking or cleaning up afterwards. They even include plates, utensil and napkins. Delicious tacos and great catering service! We had these guys come out to our home during a pre wedding celebration and serve us lunch for about 50 people. They arrived early to set up in the back yard which included an awning type structure with a long table to accommodate all the food. The setup was perfect since you can easily make a couple tacos without holding up the line too much. As for the food itself, very close to five stars. Love, love, loved the bbq pork tacos with extra onions. The added avocado added a layer of freshness and all of the salsa choices were excellent. I wasn't the only one who enjoyed them either, believe me. I asked a lot of people if they were enjoying the food and they had big smiles on their face as they were chowing down. I am a School Teacher and my Principal had Jennios cater our Staff Appreciation Day at our school. I was amaze at how great the food was. We had 100+ people and everyone had a great time. I love how they prepare the food onsite. All we could smell was delicious Mexican Food. We couldn't wait to eat. I'm happy to say we were not disappointed. Everything was freshly made. I booked them to cater my Family Reunion on the spot because they were very professional. Wow!!! I had Jennios cater my wedding last weekend and they're the reason I set up a yelp account. From beginning to end we met with Miguel to set up the logistics and everything was a breeze from there we went with the classic packaged for 100 people and added all they're side orders since we wanted the whole set up including drinks after tip it came out to about 800 bucks witch is very reasonable for a wedding and trust me we got various quotes. These guys are amazing and by the way they have liability insurance witch most taco guys we found out don't have and they take credit cards. Thanks a mil kev and Miguel....... Jennios - Onsite Taco Catering was great. I used them for a Baby Shower. They were prompt and extremely professional. They wouldn't even allow my nephews to help unload and reload their vehicle. The food was excellent (fresh and delicious) and we never ran out. My favorites were the chicken and al pastor tacos. I will definitely use them again for parties because they made my much life easier! I had an opportunity to mingle and enjoy my guest rather than spending the entire time serving and refilling... The line moved very fast for the food and when there was no one else to serve (after everyone was full), the chef just stood by, waiting for someone else to serve. Kevin and Miguel run a fantastic catering service! I had an all-around great experience with Jennio's Onsite Taco Catering. I was looking to use a taco bar for my recital, and after calling them and not leaving a voicemail, they called ME back to see if I needed something. Jennio's offered the LOWEST PRICE out of all the other taco catering places I looked at and they also had the best Yelp ratings, so I went with them. I was not disappointed. HECTOR was the cook that night and he did a GREAT JOB. He was down to earth and really easy to work with. The food and service were both FANTASTIC, and I only had good comments from everyone. HOORAAAYY!!!!!! For Jennios they catered my wedding last week for 350 people. It all worked out perfect in fact I'm still getting text from friends for they're information. After getting various quotes they were very competitive and even had a tasting for us to try the food. We added 2 stations to avoid long lines as recommended by Miguel and it all worked out perfect. The rice and beans were so yummy. Feeding all my guests at around 9 dollars per person after gratuity is a great deal. I can't wait to hire jennios again. I used Kevin and his crew of Jennios-On Site Taco Catering for my 55th birthday celebration. I really enjoyed his down to earth personality and friendliness. He gave me a great deal on my food. They offer a variety of meats, so I had options. I went with the chicken, carne asada, and the barbecoa pork (very flavorful, with a hint of pineapple) They brought plenty of condiments. They were on time. Their cooking equipment sets up fast and easy. They were great. I had several of my guests ask about using their services. I am a fan. Jennios was great. Lucio was our taco chef and server and he was phenomenal. Everybody loved him and the food too. Just about the food was gone by the time Lucio left. The only things left were a little bit of Spanish rice and some beans. I personally loved the food and appreciate the the home made sauces. Lucio said the red sauce was hot and he wasn't exaggerating. Most restaurant sauces claim to be hot with habanero and ghost chiles but rarely deliver. Jennios red sauce delivers a nice punch with a few followup kicks. Anyway folks, Jennios is the real deal. read more
