Our taco man, Manuel, left our party with all of our leftovers without asking. When we followed up, he simply replied, "No, there wasn't much left." That was not his decision to make! I appreciate you taking the time to respond, but your reply comes across as dismissive rather than addressing the real issue. The problem isn't a misunderstanding of your business model--it's the lack of clarity and customer service at the event. If you advertise an "all-you-can-eat" taco bar for a set time, guests reasonably expect food to be available throughout that period, not just until you decide to stop serving. Additionally, the way you've framed your response--blaming the customer for leaving a review rather than taking constructive feedback--only reinforces the frustration. Instead of assuming we didn't read your policies, perhaps consider whether your policies were communicated effectively in advance and during the event. At the end of the day, customer satisfaction should matter more than simply justifying how your business operates. They were still very cold and just made the tacos distasteful. He would not put a good portion of meat on the tacos. It felt like you were only eating a tortilla. Larry is the best! My husband and I were having a housewarming party, and we wanted to serve tacos. I contacted several companies, and Larry was not only super responsive, his prices were fantastic. We originally booked for 50 guests and added 20 bacon-wrapped hot dogs and guacamole to our order. However, as our RSVPs grew to upwards of 75, Larry was able to adjust our order on short notice to accommodate our larger guest count (we upped the amount of tacos, removed the hot dogs, and Larry gifted us the guac as a housewarming present!). When we found out that a rain storm was in the forecast for the day of our party, he let me know that his team would have a pop-up tent. His customer service was amazing throughout the entire process. Manuel and Jerry (?) who staffed our party were rock stars. They showed up early/on time and came prepared for the rainy and windy weather. All of our guests RAVED about the food -- it was DELICIOUS. He said the extra $100+ extra he quoted me was for the taxes on the extras??? Party day came and he showed up an hour early. Was nice and did a good job. My guests liked the bacon wrapped hot dogs. Tried to shake me down for for money at the end because he counted more than 30 people. I said that's why I ordered the hot dogs and corn. He said that was an add on and didn't count towards the head count. He didn't leave any extra food. He Didn't make any "to go" plates for anyone. This is a super late review, I had these amazing tacos about a month ago but I haven't had the time to sit down and write a proper review. 1st and foremost. If your looking for a taco guy for your next event, you're done, you found him, no need to troll other reviews & taco catering services. Now let me tell you why. Planning an event sucks. Larry made it extremely easy, I called him up and told him how many people were coming and within 10 minutes he texted me a quote, menu, time frame of how long it would take to prepare and serve. You can't beat that. I then changed the head count (added people), and moved the time frame back by an hour or so, Larry worked with me and sent me a second quote just as fast. Larry showed up on time w/ everything I was quoted for. Plates, napkins, food, etc... all I had to do is supply the drinks and a cake. Now for my taco breakdown. Tacos were excellent, best event/party tacos I've ever had. The consensus was that the chicken tacos were the best. Salsas were pretty good and the beans and rice were ok too. Most of my attendees were family & friends whom I know very well. These people don't over eat and usually leave a ton of leftovers. Not this time... we had a seconds line extending into the backyard, some attendees hit Larry up for 3rd's! Including me!!! Anyway, I have used other taco catering services in the past but nothing as good as this. I'm very comfortable with what I paid, Larry took a lot off my plate when it came to party planning and overall guest satisfaction in the food dept.
