Best tacos ever, made by the BEST guy ever! There were 75 happy people at my house last Sunday, thanks to Richard and his tacos. Service ***** With Richard you get not only great food but a guy who really cares that you and your guests have a good time. He is NOT that taco guy who just cooks and leaves. Richard will do anything within his power to help you and to ensure your party is a success. Richard was at my house by 11am to setup and to ensure food would be ready at 1pm when the party started. He also stayed well past the time when he was finished cooking. Food ***** In one word FANTASTIC. Most of my guests commented that Richard's tacos were the best tacos they had ever eaten! There was lot of fresh and homemade condiments along with plenty of guacamole! We had Chicken, Carne Asada and Carnitas tacos. Its hard to pick which one was best, if pressed, I'd have to vote for the Carnitas. All three meats were tender and well seasoned and cooked up fresh on site (except the carnitas which was roasted for 14 hours). Several of my friends are vegetarian so Richard made sure there was plenty of sauted onions and red/yellow bell peppers. Presentation ***** The food tables were setup for optimum flow and overall food presentation was extremely appetizing! We have now hired Richard three times for parties at our house and have referred him to our friends as well. The food is always top notch, some of the best carnitas I have ever had, for sure. Love the homemade guacamole as well! But beside the awesome food, Richard is just a great guy! We found Richard with SBT on Yelp last week. We normally use a few guys for our work events but last few times, meat was dry. Called Richard, he answered right away and we set it up for the weekend. He was happy, punctual, kind, personable, super cool and easy going. We like that! He talked to everyone and when he left, we missed him! He's the kind of guy that greets you and everyone with a big smile and seems to enjoy what he does. Had a 16th bday party for our son with our family and they all raved about his food and his personality. He came about two hours early, set up (all his equipment is spotless) and cooked away. He had us with the onions, smelled throughout the house. The beans and onions, we were ready to eat! We had steak, chicken, pork with all the goodies. Price is reasonable too for all the food we had, have plenty of leftovers too. Richard is definitely going to be our go to guy from now on. We enjoyed the homemade guacamole too. After tasting their food at a local fundraiser, we contracted to have them cater tacos and agua frescas for approximately 100 people at a birthday celebration. We chose chicken , carne asada, and al pastor, with rice, beans, salsas and the optional "handmade" tortillas. The tacos and salsas were excellent and everyone enjoyed them as well as the rice and beans. The beans are not refried, but rather "de la olla" or boiled beans, but with great flavor. Using the fresh "handmade" tortillas rather than "ready-made", while delicious, does make for a much slower food line, so plan accordingly. I chose the watermelon, cucumber lime, and pineapple agua frescas without previously tasting them. Unfortunately, the watermelon drink lacked flavor, and the cucumber lime drink was sweeter than expected, but the pineapple was a hit! Everything was prepared and served by two hard working and friendly people and all went well with the single exception of the tortilla chips which unfortunately ran out before everyone was served. Everyone enjoyed their food and we received many positive comments. I would not hesitate to hire them again! read more

Richard catered my daughter's sixteenth birthday party on May 10, 2014. He arrived a little early to make sure he was set up and ready to go. The food was amazing!! Just really superior!! Everything was high quality, fresh. Salsas and guacamole were excellent. Richard supplied everything (except paper plates, utensils which we had planned to provide) food, serving dishes, tables, etc. Not only was the food INCREDIBLE - Richard is just an awesome person. We had more than 30 sixteen year old kids RAVING about how great he was all afternoon. Richard made the birthday party a great experience for my family and my guests and could not be happier. There was some left over food - and we were so glad about that. We ate great Mexican food for the next couple days!
