We brought Hera home at 2 months old. She's a German Shepherd, and we were completely overwhelmed. She wasn't just a "normal crazy puppy." She was reactive, timid, and scared of everything. Loud cars, motorcycles, sirens -- instant panic. Walks were stressful because she pulled and lunged nonstop. At home, it wasn't much easier. She wouldn't relax or cuddle. She chased our son, nipped at us, and treated everyone like a chew toy. Our son was honestly scared of her.
