The front desk staff has always been kind, but there is one employee who creates the social media videos who consistently avoids greeting customers and immediately goes to the back whenever someone approaches. It contributes to an overall feeling of poor customer service. Because of these issues, we'll be returning to Ufuria in Rancho Cucamonga.

At drop off, there were many dogs in the office so be aware this is more of a business catered to dogs than cats. My cat was already stressed, not a shocker but still annoying. When it was my turn, they confirmed the dates she will be staying, literally took her to the back and didn't ask about vaccination or anything. It was very fast and felt off, but whatever. When I asked to see photos of where she would be staying they acted strange, as if my question was taboo. They didn't have any they could show me so I literally dropped my cat off and have no idea where she is going. Awesome. I left and in the car called to speak to someone who would send me photos - it was odd how they made it so difficult to send me 1 photo. They said they did take a photo but the cat was blurry so they will try again later.....Huh??? It's not hard to send a photo in 2026. Anyways, at pick up when they brought out my cat, they gave her back to me in the WRONG CARRIER. That was my sign that this business is shady and unorganized. The guy panicked when I told him the carrier wasn't mine and took them an additional 10 minutes to get the right one. And yes, I checked to see that they gave me the right cat. They also included a dirty old cat toy in the carrier covered in hair that was not ours. Gross. Very chaotic - never will be returning and would not recommend.

The day before the appointment, I get a message from Ryan, asking me to call him back regarding the appointment. When I called back, he was rambling something about discussing my dog with the veterinary tech who visits occasionally. Then he tells me he's going to call me right back in a few minutes. Waited 40 minutes and didn't get a callback so I called back again. He again tells me he's going to call me back; nothing. Same scenario one more time. Call back the morning of the appointment and ask to speak to Ryan. The girl who answered the phone said he's not available and asks if I want to leave a message. I told her he's been avoiding my calls for whatever reason so I'll just show up at the facility. Miraculously within two minutes, Ryan calls me back. He's stuttering and stumbling, saying something about my dog's age and about how amazing they are. WTF?? Amazing?? That's fucking hilarious. You can't even return a simple phone call. I asked him if there was a reason he's having a problem forming a complete thought or sentence. Then he starts stuttering and stumbling again, rambling about "it's a young man's game" or some stupid shit like that. I honestly have no clue what he was trying to convey, and I'm pretty sure he had no clue either. So I hung up. Very unprofessional. I recommend looking elsewhere.

After his one on one lessons we signed up for their group training to socialize Porter. They did such a great job for so many different dog personalities all at once. We had a large "intimidating" (to some) Cane Corso in our group and they paired little Porter with him and Porter had all the confidence he needed next to the massive Cane, thanks to Rebel K9. Beth has worked as a vet technician and has great insight for pet owners. She walks my dogs 3 times a week and over the years has alerted me of signs of head shaking for ear infections, problem gums and assisted with replacing expensive meds from prior vets for homeopathic care and other resources. She is always in the know and is a valuable resource and my dogs got nuts when they see her. She has done well for others on dog training from what I hear and has great bedside manner for ailing pets who need meds or some TLC from surgery . Beth has a Big heart, reliable and smart!

You can tell the staff here really cares about their dogs. They give up everything they have to make sure the animals are happy and loved. You can tell the shelter has low funding, which is not at all their fault and they make sure that they do the best they can with limited resources. I highly recommend looking for a dog here because they don't overcharge (I only spent $40 on my dog!) I almost wish they charged more. I hope to keep in contact with them in the future!
