This review is to update my prior one from a few years back. I forgot that I've been to their business before. Killer Brows & Lashes did a wonderful job on my eyebrows for my wedding! I was having the hardest time finding a salon that wouldn't overdo my brows, despite my being very clear in asking. It's taken me years to get any growth out of my right one specifically. I went 5 days before my wedding - plenty of time to let weirdness die down before the big day. Masks were required, they enforced social distancing & the technicians were cleaning & sanitizing at every step. Their customer service was very good and my brows turned out better than they've ever been. Plenty of hair still in place to help shape new growth, no redness and my makeup artist even said how nice & clean they were! Pictures came out great and I've found my new "home salon!" I have been coming here for about a year now and they always do a great job on my brows. I usually get about 3-4 weeks of them looking great, 2 more weeks of them looking good, and then the last couple of weeks they are struggling so by weeks 6-8 it's time to come back in. That is much longer than I usually get with threading. The prices are fair and it's very clean. When I first started coming my brow girl (I forgot her name I am so sorry) used to take a VERY long time, like 20-30 min, but she has always done a great job and gotten quicker without losing any quality. read more

My hairdresser was out on maternity leave, enjoying that wonderful sweet new babes. But that didn't stop my hair from growing in scattered patterns all over my brow area. So I allowed myself to rely on the reviews of yelp to guide me to a new brow technician. This lead me to Killer Brows & Lashes. I was happy with my results and will pop in again! It's a cozy spot tucked in with two chairs rocking. I walked in with no appt and had no problem being seen within a few minutes. There are some chairs lined along the wall for waiting, light music was played and the ladies were chatting with clients. I saw Qiana and was finished up in about ten minutes, a waxing for my brows and the price was reasonable. A quick heads up, no children are allowed in the salon. Everyone's really nice here, but this is not the place to get eyebrows threaded. I had grown in my eyebrows for over a month, I am in I town on tour for one day and I saw this place had 4 stars. told the lady that I wanted them kept thicker. Not only did she drastically thin them out, she changed the shape completely and made them uneven and sloppy. I am so Incredibly disappointed that I spent $20 on an Uber ride just to have someone ruin my face. Finally a place to get my eyebrows threaded in Cincinnati! I've put off going to Killer Brows for far too long, but I finally went there this evening to get my eyebrows threaded in [embarrassingly] more than two years. Back then, I lived in CA where finding a person to thread eyebrows was as easy as walking down the street or through the mall - threading shops everywhere! Anyway, I completely forget the girl's name at Killer Brows but she did a fantastic job. What I found to be a stellar part of their service was when I originally showed up on a Saturday afternoon expecting to walk in and get my brows threaded and was suggested that I come back on a Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday so I don't have to wait over a half hour for my turn. Well, Tuesday came and sure enough - no wait at all! In 15 minutes I was done and I'm happy to say my brows look great. I'll definitely be coming back! read more

I needed to get my brows (I call them first cousins cause when I grow them out they have a tendency to be close) threaded while I was in town and I of course searched on Yelp and found this place near my hotel. I am always a bit nervous when I get my brows done away from home but it was an EMERGENCY. I walked in and thought the shop was okay then I saw the cash sign and thought dang no cash on me but fortunately the machine is right outside. Once that situation was solved, I got in the chair (which I have at home so I was like cool beans) and she looked at my brows and said oh no threading for you you need to wax and pluck and then you maintain with thread. I have never had anyone say that to me but I was like what the hell I will try it. Needless to say she was 1000% right and I have to say these are some of the best brows I have had in a LONG LONG time. I highly encourage anyone who is from out of town or who is in town who needs someone to really treat your brows right to go there. read more

Went to have a quick bite to eat and stopped here after to check out this spot. This was the best decision I made all day. Eyebrow threading is 15.00 and you will feel on top of the world once you leave. No butchered brows here! My bestie and I walked in and were seen within 10 min and out in 30. Quick, professional ( there was a mini consultation), and great customer service. Was way more expensive than I have ever paid before to have my brows threaded and definitely the lowest quality I've ever had. Didn't get all the tiny hairs and also left a few tiny cuts on my skin. Color me impressed. Aside from the convenience to downtown (and my house) this little place on Court St. is a gem. They take both walk-ins and appointments, but the first time I went there was a sign on the door saying they were doing a full body wax so no one was available. This slight annoyance, and the fact that I had just paid for a half hour of parking is the reason they get 4 stars instead of 5. Anyway, lesson learned I called ahead the next time and in 15 minutes I had total supermodel brows. Seriously, I went in for a brow wax, but she trimmed and plucked them to perfection as well. Not the sudden, what did you do to your face kind of wax, but the subtle, never a hair out of place kind of perfection for only $15. They also offer threading, and body waxing. Best eye brow wax I've ever gotten. I have been searching and searching for an awesome eyebrow place that doesn't cost an arm and a leg. THIS IS IT. I came in at about 3:30 pm on a Thursday. There was no wait. Tee helped me and was pleasant and accommodating. I had eyebrow shaping (hot wax) and tint. $35, but worth it for the convenience of being immediately seen, qualified service, and just overall kindness. One thing that could be improved is the seating while the service is being completed. There was no support for the customer's feet while leaning back in the barber chair. After sitting for an extended period it led to back fatigue. Maybe a foot stool, or a full table would be more comfortable for customers in the future. I'll likely return. read more
