To begin this review, let me explain what my hair history was like prior to seeing her. About three months ago, I had perm done and soon after (3 weeks) bleached and colored to blue-black. It was terribly damaged from those two chemical services. Hence, I couldn't even run my fingers through my hair when showering. I would put three or four pumps or conditioner just to be able to comb them. Also, all the heat from blow drying and flat ironing was only adding damage to my already fried hair. I came in and had consultation with her to get them at least manageable. I was even ready to have her cut it off so I wouldn't have to deal with it anymore. But she suggested that I get a keratin treatment as well as tone it to charcoal. I was skeptical at first but she explained the procedures and showed me some of her other clients' before & after pictures, then I was sold. As the result, my hair is shiny, smooth, and even in color. And the best part is that I got it all done in one day. Wow. I cannot recommend her more. Before I went in to the salon I had long thick straight virgin hair and I came out of the salon with the hair I wanted! I'm so glad I found Jenny! I was getting tired of plain straight hair everyday and fighting with a curling iron or straightener to style my hair so I made an appointment to give hippie perm a try. I've had my hair permed years back when I was a lot younger and didn't really have a choice (moms decision..) so I was stuck with a fluffy round head of hair over my round face.
