She is such a sweet lady and talented. I barely even told her what I wanted and she knew exactly what my hair needed. Look at my pictures and see for yourself. All you need to do is request for Veronica since there are other stylist renting the place as well. See you in about 5 months

I've been looking to get my hair layered for a while but struggled to find someone I could trust at a reasonable price. I found Veronica through Yelp and saw the amazing work she does and was convinced. It was very easy to schedule an appointment over the phone and heard back within the same day. I was able to layer, wash and style by hair for $60 which is unheard of in this economy. On top of that, I loved my conversations with Veronica and could just tell that she loves what she does and is a genuine person. I highly recommend her and have fallen in love with my hair again. This was the worst haircut I've ever had. I agree with the jasmine and the other reviewer. She was rude, very unprofessional. I commented on the parts that were choppy and as if it was layered, she said I was insulting, when I question about my own hair! I was trying to polite, and as jasmine said in her review "it's ok. I have thick skin." But my hair is so messed up. I will have to pay another person to fix it. I wanted a nice haircut to go on interviews , but now I'm embarrassed to say the least. Worst when I kept messing with it she said I was clearly unhappy with it so she proceeded to chop more off. I've been to many hair salons, I have never seen the technique that she used. She just kept chopping like she was pissed off that I wasn't happy. I just said it is fine just to get out of there. I went there because of all the good reviews too and thought I can put up with poor customer service but it was the biggest mistake. Very angry customer. 65$ is a lot when I have to pay for Someone else to fix it. I wasn't going to comment but when I looked at Other reviews, we all complained about the same thing! read more

Wow! Veronica is truly an expert at what she does. I've been searching for a go-to salon in LA for a while now to no avail, but lo and behold - she's become my go-to. I called to make an appointment and she was able to squeeze me in 2 weeks later on a weekend (she's by appointment only). I let her know that I wanted layers and she showed me how much she would cut off when I requested 5 inches, which was perfect. She took her time and I could tell she was very detail oriented. She blew dry my hair so it was super fluffy and pretty by the time I walked out of the salon. Haircuts for women run $45+, depending on how thick/long your hair is. Pretty reasonable price for LA! It was my daughter's prom and she needed an updo. Unfortunately Lauren sends me the attached text message a few hours before our appointment and says she cannot see us as "her booking system never updated and she was unavailable". My appointment was at 7 pm, but when I opened the door to the studio, the stylist, Lauren, asked me to wait outside on a bench around the corner since she was with another client. I wasn't called in until about 7:30. Lauren was friendly and talkative, and asked me some questions about how I normally style my hair and what I wanted to do with it. My requests were pretty simple, just a trim and some layers. I had purchased a Groupon that included cut, deep treatment, and styling. She asked if I wanted her to curl my hair to see what it would look like styled and I said yes (because styling was included with my Groupon). My hair cut was fine, nothing amazing, but not bad. I was disappointed with my experience for a few reasons. 1) I have never waited so long for a hair appointment after my scheduled time, and I was really hoping to be done sooner so I could go home and help put my kid to bed. 2) I normally get a hair wash before my hair cut at other places. I saw reviews on Groupon that they got a shampoo, but Lauren didn't wash my hair. It was a dry cut situation. 3) I was supposed to get a deep treatment, but didn't get that either. I thought the deep treatment was supposed to be a conditioning treatment of some sort after a shampoo, but I guess not. She did use some kind of spray (I think dry shampoo or hairspray?) and some oil for shine. 4) If you are one to prefer being around people that wear masks, you should know that Lauren doesn't wear a mask while working on your hair. There was another client in the studio that also didn't wear a mask.

I couldn't wait to get home and write my review. In short ,my hair was over processed and damaged from bleaching a hair salon that I will never place foot in again. Let me tell you the truth I was scared about trying to get my hair fixed because it might make it worse. I searched and was impressed with reviews and lots of pictures that veronica had on her site. I called and went in for a consult and decided to make an appointment. Veronica made me feel at home and went over what we had talked about she worked her heart out to please me,showing me by section how color took through out my hair (something a stylist has never done with me) she took such good care! I surprised her with a gift certificate to get her hair done, she went in Friday and when she came out she was all smiles. Her hair looked AMAZING! I found Veronica on yelp and fell in love with her work after seeing all the reviews. When I went in to see her, Veronica was so sweet and very welcoming. While I was getting my hair cut she turned my chair to face my mom while I was talking to her so it would be easier to see each other (how sweet?! Which hair dresser do you know does that?!) she also cut my hair exactly how I wanted it and fixed all the unevenness from my previous hair cut.
