We've had different experiences there. Mine was ok. They offered a drink to me, nobody offered anything to my daughter. My manicurist kept looking at her phone the entire time but other than that she was really good and accommodating. My daughter however didn't have a good experience, her manicurist was the male one and she felt he was rough, pulling her hands and fingers and making a few of her fingers bleed!! I recently visited this nail salon for a French tip manicure in preparation for my homecoming, and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. I've been here before and had a great experience with one of the female technicians, so I decided to return. This time, I was assigned a different technician--a male worker--and while I had no problem with that initially, the service was not at all up to par. During the appointment, he cut my cuticle, causing it to bleed, yet there was no apology or acknowledgment of what happened. Instead, he just told me to wash it off. Throughout the session, he was rude and dismissive, telling me not to look at my nails because I was "distracting" him, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. When I politely asked if he could show me how he was doing the French tip on one nail so I could provide feedback, he became argumentative. For a service that cost $55, I expected professionalism, care, and quality--especially since I was trying to be understanding and respectful of the process. Unfortunately, I left with sore cuticles and a sour experience. If you're looking for a nail salon where your input is valued and you're treated with respect, I can't recommend this place. This was the WORST nail salon experience I've ever had. I found JEN'S nails salon on Class Pass and she refused to accept Class Pass even after I had already booked the appointment. She forced me to DOUBLE pay. I was okay with going somewhere else if she had I told me ahead of time that she wasn't going to accept the class pass booking. She had me sit down and started my pedicure and then talked about money and was worried I wasn't going to pay her. That was the conversation for the entire duration of the pedicure and it was ridiculously stressful and RUDE. I realized JEN's Nails is double dipping by getting money from the client and then denying that she got paid with class pass and then waiting till it's already booked on the app and it's too late for the client to cancel their appointment on class pass. I don't recommend this place to anyone. There are all sorts of nails places out there that do the same quality nail service but have more ethical people running it. read more

I was impressed by the detail and craftsmanship that went into creating my solar dip coffin-shaped manicure, which turned out flawless! The Groupon brought us in on a deal.... 4. The end result looked and felt good. Cons: {read as: Why I won't be back} 1. Scheduled an appointment and wasn't seen for 15 minutes after scheduled time. If I schedule an appointment for a specific time, I expect that it's because the business knows they will be available for the requested services at that time. Not 15 mins later. Additionally they started on me 10 minutes before my husband so by the time his lady came over she was playing catch up to keep on track with my pedi timeline. He got the short straw on that deal and missed most of the massage and the entire left leg of the scrub. 2. No communication. Very limited English to the point you cannot ask for anything outside of whatever the nail tech wants to do. And my favorite - tons of chatter in another language in front of the customer followed by snickers. That's always a great way to attract and keep customers ;) 3. My lady seemed to have some weird post nasal drip irritation she couldn't control and was constantly snorting her snot in her throat all loudly. Gross! 4. I got a Groupon for a deluxe pedicure and it was the best I've ever had. The staff is friendly and they do such a good job. They really take their time and make sure you enjoy yourself and relax. They offered a complimentary drink as soon as I sat down. I had their strawberry margarita. Not the best I've had but it was still very good. They're good at listening to what you want. The pedicure chairs have moveable pedestals so you dont have to hold your legs and feet at uncomfortable angles while they take care of calluses. I'm not someone who reviews businesses usually and I always give someone the benefit of the doubt even if I don't receive a good service but this was THE worst nail experience and I'm 52. I found Jen's and loved Jen's personality, price and how she did my nails last time so I thought I found my place. I went today and the older gentleman did my nails and he was rude from start to finish. He kept adjusting/pulling my hands and sighing and giving me dirty looks and told me my hands were too high/too low/not relaxed enough etc. I really felt very much picked on and he quoted a very high price on top of that for plain acrylic, higher than what Jen had charged for acrylic French nails. When I questioned him and Jen, they were talking in Vietnamese and he said she was wrong. Then he ran the card for even higher amount than what he quoted me. I was so fed up that I just paid, tipped $5 and left. I will not be returning to say the least but I also read he treated a young lady this way so I wanted to warn others. I was able to book online for the same day, which is amazingly helpful, took me less than 5 minutes. When I got there I was offered a drink and a very nice gentleman started on my nails, taking off the overly thick, uv cured top coat that was applied on my SNS nails at a different salon. I've seen their work which is why I gave them a try. Had the man do a set of SNS mails for me and, sadly, they look like bulky 90s fake nails. I couldn't really understand him, but I think he said he had to do my nails because he knew how to do SNS. SNS nails are notoriously difficult to get right and often end up looking thick and unnatural, and that's what happened to me here. I don't want to speak for all of the staff because the ladies were very kind but the man who did my nails was the rudest nail tech I've ever encountered. I asked for a French tip acrylics medium length and I showed him how long I wanted it. He cut the thumb nail so extremely short and left the others long. I asked him if he could make it longer to match the other nails and he got mad at me and said it was supposed to be like that. I've done acrylic sets myself before and it was not supposed to be like that. He eventually fixed it after I insisted but was extremely rude after. He cut my fingers carelessly and they were bleeding when I left. The finger nails were uneven and the shape was not consistent. It's frustrating that the nails were terrible and he was so rude on top of that. I had to go home and file the nails myself and fix them and now they look somewhat decent. The ladies were extremely nice and did a great job on my friend but just be wary. I'll be sticking with Joe Nails from now on. read more
